Ye Fan asked sincerely, from all of the information he has dugged up about Ronald, he concluded that Ronald was just a wastrel that could only rely on his father's wealth and background to even make it anywhere in life. Ye Fan didn't really believe Luna fell in love with someone like that.

Just as Luna was about to speak out and defend Ronald, she heard a voice that she didn't really want to hear in this lifetime.

Some of the people in the venue decided to dip out of the banquet halls as fast as they could so that they could avoid the Roulin's family wrath while the rest stayed behind as they were curious as to what Xie Roulin was going to do next.

They could fully recreate the scene where Xie Roulin slapped Ye Fan's face inside their heads.

"Where have the bodyguards been this entire time? Your young master is being humiliated like this and yet you guys have done nothing yet?" Xie Roulin was even more pissed off when she saw nobody drag Ye Fan away, what kind of bodyguards are they to let their own young master get insulted in public like this?

Several of the guards of this banquet quickly came back to their senses, and a few moments later they gathered around Ye Fan.

"Sir, please show us your invitation letter." Hearing their own young master get insulted like this in public, the guards were eyeballing Ye Fan getting ready to drag him out of this venue.

"I..." Ye Fan didn't know how to explain himself to the guards, he couldn't just tell them that he had miraculously sneaked in here without getting caught.

"If you can't show us your invitation letter, we have the right to assume that you trespassed on the Kuangge's property and we can start using force against you." Several of the guards started cracking their knuckles, getting ready to fight.

"Fuck..." Even though Ye Fan knew that he can easily take down these group of guards in front of him, he's currently in China, so he doesn't have any actual connections at the moment, and his original goal of building up connections here hasn't been really working out for him.

In the end, he could only grit his teeth and allow the guards to bring him out of the premises.

He swore an oath that one day he'll take revenge for this day and completely annihilate the Kuangge family.

While Ye Fan was getting escorted out of the banquet, Ronald was standing there fuming his brains out. It wasn't like he didn't try to prevent the guards from trying to take Ye Fan out, it's just that these two heroines kept distracting him whenever he tried to do something.
