Ronald grabbed a wine glass on the nearest table and headed towards the direction where Ye Fan and Luna were located.
"Hey dumbass, are you blind? How dare you strike up a conversation with my fiancee without my consent?" Ronald then splashed the wine in the wine glass onto Ye Fan's face.
"What the hell asshole! Are you out of your mind?" Ye Fan asked furiously while wiping the wine off of his face.
During the time he spent overseas building up his power and influence, nobody has ever dared insult him, now all of a sudden some useless rich second generation actually humiliated him like this?
If he wasn't at this lowlife scum's banquet right now he would've absolutely murdered him without any hesitation.
"Let me tell you buddy, I can make you completely disappear from this world right now with just a snap of my finger, so if you know what's good for you, you better stay away from MY Luna right now!" Ronald stated his original lines accordingly in the novel while maintaining a posture of an extremely arrogant person.
"Luna, don't talk to this cockroach, he doesn't even deserve to take a look at you." Ronald also mentioned as he turned his head towards Luna, with his eyes full of expections.
Luna should be mad at him now, right? He did splash a glass of wine on Ye Fan's face after all.
As long as Luna gets angry at him, then the plot can continue on smoothly.
"Miss Xuan, it seems like your fiance is not very polite! I haven't done anything wrong to him and yet he splashed wine all over my face." Ye Fan had investigated Luna's background before returning to China and so he was completely aware that Luna didn't like any of her pursuers, and even had a disdain for Ronald specifically.
Ye Fan was almost positive that Luna was going to stand up for him, no girls would like being with a violent man after all.
"Haha, the son of the Kuangge family is still as brainless as ever."
"It's ashame that he was born into the Kuangge family, who knows how much more prosperous the family would've become had he had even a single ounce of braincell."
"I'm surprised that Luna hasn't broken up her engagement with this loser yet, he doesn't even qualify to lift up her shoes."
While everyone was once again mocking Ronald and waiting for Luna to take action, what Luna did next made everyone completely shut up and shocked them once again.
Luna took a handkerchief from the collar of her jacket and walked straight to Ronald.
"Here Ronald, some of the spilled wine got on your hands."
"..." Ronald couldn't help but stare at Luna dumbfoundedly.
'What the hell...?'
'What in the actual fuck is going on here?'
'Have I suddenly become the main character or something?'
'Isn't Luna suppose to be the first heroine?'
'Am I even in the right novel right now?'
'Are the heroines crazy, or am I crazy?'
'Yep, seems like I've gone crazy instead.'
What Luna did just now really shocked him and he started to have a headache.
"Are you okay? Let me help you~" Luna saw Ronald's sluggish face, and felt even more joyful in her heart.
Ronald looked so cute with the face he's making right now and Luna couldn't help but get tempted to pinch his cheeks.
She is also aware that Ronald was extremely surprised at her current attitude. Who wouldn't be surprised if a cold heartless girl did a complete 180 and started acting like a loving wife towards someone she's neglected for years.
If this happened during her previous life, she would've undoubtedly not hesitate to slap Ronald's face and start criticizing him.
However, she's a rebirth now and she doesn't really care about anything else, as long as Ronald is happy, she is happy.
Luna carefully lifted Ronald's hand and wiped it gently with the handkerchief, which almost looked like as if she was a wife taking care of her husband.
Ye Fan, witnessing this entire scene unfold while still drenched in wine was even more infuriated.
"What the hell are you trying to do?" Ye Fan couldn't really figure it out, why would Luna rather help such a waste rather than help himself?
From all of the informations he has dugged out about Luna and the Xuan family he was absolutely positive that they could undoubtedly help bring him all the way through the top of China, but yet right now he's being completely ignored like this?
He wasn't just going to let it end like this.
Ye Fan suddenly realized something, Luna doesn't know who he is yet!
That's right! No doubtedly after Luna learns about his true identity, she will stand by his side without any hesitation!
Now he just needs to figure out a way to properly introduce his identity and then he'll be all set.
"My fiance just told me not to talk to cockroaches just now, so please don't talk to me." Luna stated as she finished wiping off the wine stains on Ronald's hand.
Her eyes looked at Ye Fan with contempt.
Nobody knows Ye Fan's true identity better than her.
Even for her now, she considered Ye Fan a giant overseas.
But that's just only for overseas, in China right now, he can't even be considered a cockroach in her eyes.
Besides, she has already killed Ye Fan once in her previous life, so why can't she do it as well in this life?
Ye Fan looked at Luna in disbelief.
