89 Mission complete

I spent half the day with Storm's mother, who you can tell was trying to act normal when it's still alien to her. The day was tough on me since I had to spend it with his family while he went to finalize some things with Theo.

Storm's father didn't say a word to me after the initial welcome to the family and what have you, which I'm grateful for.

At least, his mother was trying to be friendly, while his father looked like he was moments from kicking my butt if I so much as stared at him.

I have never been so relieved when they left with the other parents. However, that was short-lived when his mother invited us for dinner at their house tomorrow and Storm didn't object.

I think he's happy to know that I'm getting along with his mother. That was why he didn't think he had to refuse her offer for us to dine at their house.

I watched him as he packed the clothes, humming to himself, looking like a child who got his favourite toy.
