Chapter 5: Recruited!

it took around a minute for him to reach the deepest part, luckily he fell into a shallow water, when he rose up from the water, he sees an unfamiliar place, the place was spacious, it has clouds that changes colors, the water he fell down was light blue, and there was a stair, a very long stair going to a tree, it could sum up to 10,000 stairs. He was astonished by what he saw and was mesmerized by the whole place, he spent about a minute looking on every little things he saw on that place, then he saw a door, the door has a beige color and has celestial designs with vines surrounding it, 'what is this door? Will this lead me back to the place where the shard is?' he thought to himself, he was really determined to open the door thinking it would really bring him back, then when he went out of the door, he really did went out to the same place he fell, but it was strange, Jiro and the girl was not there, even the shard was missing, he slowly walked until he arrived at the borders, and he saw Gabriel and Jiro looking so worried, then he shouted their names "Jiro! Gabriel!" He waved his hands while looking so happy and moving towards them. Well, Jiro seeing his friend still alive, he sighed in a big relief but then he said a strange thing to him "Ril...you were missing for 2 days straight because of that pit, how did you leave?"

"2 days? What? How? I spent only about 2 minutes on that place, I easily got out because of the door and it took about an hour to get here"

"A door? Two minutes? Well that's strange, because we literally stood here 2 days waiting for you to come back after the shard was taken away..." Jiro said

"What? The shard was taken? Was it that girl?" Ril asked "Well...yes, after you fell into the pit, Jiro went looking for you and he did not realize the shard was already taken by that girl, it seems the wisteria organization knows this shard's worth" Gabriel said "Since the mission failed, you'll have to get back and get your punishments" Gabriel then, put an invisible hand cuff on both of them so that they could not escape

But something was still bothering Ril...'What really was that place?'

When they got back on the mansion, Ril saw everyone's face being disappointed, it was because the mission failed and Wisteria organization took the shard, they went in to the room where Zeal is and he said "Since you failed your mission, We will not let you go" Jiro felt distraught by These words "But that does not mean we're locking you up. As of today, you both are a member of the lotus organization"

"Huh?" Both of the boys were surprised, a member? They just failed a mission now they're a member? "What do you mean?" Ril asked "Well you both might be in confusion but let me explain, the shard you saw was actually a decoy, the original shard was already safe in our organization"

"Then are you testing us?" Jiro asked "Well, no but actually yes"

"We were determined to let you go once you finish the mission but since you failed, then you will work for the lotus organization, I do not want to waste your talents"

Jiro then thought to himself 'If I accept the offer, there's a possibility that they would not find me...'

"Okay I accept" Jiro accepted the offer in front of Zeal then Ril does the same since he's also looking for some documents.

Then Gabriel guided these two to their respective rooms and Ril asked "So...can I ask where you went while we were fighting that girl?"

"Haha, actually I was standing behind the tree and watched, sorry for not helping you"

"Oh... It's fine, I just got kinda worried" he said silently "what? I'm sorry, I did not hear what you said"

"Well, it was nothing, thank you Gabriel" Ril said while smiling
