1 Ace Legend

"Sigh, so this is how they feel. Not much though...."A young boy, roughly in his teenage years said as he contemplated on something with his hand on his chin. Anyone who saw this boy could only describe him with one word, handsome.

This young boy was extremely handsome. With his hazel silver eyes, accompanied by his pure white hair there was little argument that could be made about his looks. However, his hazel silver eyes were very dim, as if they had lost all interest in life and he continued to sit in the same position for a couple of minutes straight.

During these minutes, if someone were to see him from afar, they might think that he was a statue if not for the movement of his hair as it flew through the wind. His lone figure continued to stare at the blank space in front of him as his thoughts wandered about. He seemed to be in deep thought about something.

As for what that 'something' was, no one really knew. However, the frown on his face definitely portrayed 'the something' as troublesome. Despite all this, his beauty wasn't undermined by his frown by any means. In fact, it seemed like his handsomeness was elevated by another level once a simple facial expression like a frown was introduced.

*Beep Beep*

The frown on his face suddenly vanished as the honking from the cars disrupted his thoughts. Replacing his frown was a look of indifference and numbness.

"Time to get back…." The teenager muttered yet again as he looked down, watching the commotion going on below with indifference.

Surprisingly, he was currently sitting at the edge of a tall storey building, with about a total of ten floors.

As for how he got here, no one knew. It was the same for how he would get out of there. No one had any idea. However, this question was uncalled for as anyone who asked would soon find out in a few minutes.

Combing through his hair with his hand, the young boy proceeded to do something that would shock any normal person into utter disbelief.

He jumped.

Yes, he jumped. Leaning slightly towards the busy highway below him, he jumped. Without any surprise, the teenager began to fall rapidly –something that would definitely scare a lot of people into a coma.

Yet, the teenager was unfazed. He faintly touched the walls of the building he was previously sitting on top of, an action that many would find foolish if he was intending to slow himself down. That wasn't his plan by any means though. With a slight push, he launched himself away from the building! Streaking through the sky like a blazing meteor he quickly found himself inside the alley of the opposite building to the building he jumped from.

Whoosh!

As he neared the ground, he slowed down to a stop. A feat that was accomplished by something that wasn't yet known to the world. Something that could, not only evolve humanity's current technological standards but also reshape society if discovered.

"Well, that was easy," Ace said with an indifferent gaze as he landed.

He slowly reached out to his pocket taking his phone and a set of air pods. Just as he was about to place the pods into his ears, he heard the voice of a middle-aged man, making him stop.

"Who are you?" the voice echoed.

"??"

Ace raised his head, as his gaze landed on two people in front of him. The people – a middle-aged man and a teenager, on the other hand, were stumped. Glancing at them, Ace realised why they were so surprised though. It was because of his looks.

Ace's gaze was still attracted to something else. He looked at the packet in the man's hand and immediately understood what was going on.

"Don't worry about me. Continue with what you are doing," Ace said with a dismissive tone. After glancing at the packet in the man's hand he realized what was going on.

They were trading drugs. It was the reason why they were so alert when he suddenly arrived. After all, who wouldn't be spooked out when someone suddenly dropped from the sky and landed safely near you whilst you were doing something illegal?

"Who are you? We won't ask again!" The teenager said lifting his shirt slightly to reveal the gun hidden inside his behind his belt. Without a doubt, Ace knew what he was trying to do. He was trying to intimidate him. However, Ace wasn't spooked or scared into submission.

Instead, he raised his hand and waved at them dismissively, "I told you to continue with what you are doing,"The middle-aged man immediately frowned when he saw Ace's actions. Unlike the teenager, he was more experience in dealing drugs. After all, it was something that he had been doing for a while now. And from his experience, Ace shouldn't be reacting this way if he was a normal person.

'Could he be a cop?'

The man couldn't help but think. Right from the beginning, he had suspected that Ace was just a normal person. It was the reason why he didn't outright act like the teenager did.

He wasn't really alerted and he only asked that question out of cautiousness.

However, looking at Ace's dismissive and casual action, he couldn't help but reevaluate his decision. Could he really be a cop? Thinking of this the middle-aged man placed his hand in his torso, planning to act.

The teenager, however, beat the man to it. He pointed his gun directly at Ace as he threatened,"Who the fuck are you? I am not going to ask again!"

Ace was indifferent as he looked at the teenager. Why was this teenager acting so violently? Was he so stupid to realize that the man behind him hadn't acted yet?

"Okay, go home then!" The teenager said before firing.

*Pah… Pah*

The sound of gunshots echoed in Ace's ears as his eyes widened. Why was this boy acting so stupidly? Did he think he could shoot anyone and get away with it?

The middle-aged man also thought the same. What was going through this boy's head? Were the drugs finally taking effect? The middle-aged man widened subconsciously realizing that the boy had targeted the heart of the teenage arrival.

'Stupid!' The man cursed as turned away intending to run. He didn't want to rot in jail even though he was a drug dealer. However, just as he turned away, he heard a voice that sent chills down his spine."You shouldn't have shot me. Now, I will have to erase your memories," Ace said.

He didn't say it with any malicious intentions though. However, both the man and the teenager suddenly felt chills down their spine.

The man turned around to see Ace looking at him with his hazel silver eyes. Did he miss? The man thought.

However, this thought immediately changed as he saw Ace open his hands. In his hands were the bullet the boy shot! He immediately turned to the boy to see him looking at him back with shock reflected in his eyes.

The man on the other hand realized something too. Hidden in the gaze of the boy was fear, the fear of the unknown. For some unknown reason, the man was able to read the expression of the boy and once he did, his expression couldn't help but change.

The expression of the boy said it all. He hadn't missed the shot by any means. Meaning, Ace had somehow survived the attack and was currently holding the bullets.

How could he not run? Without even asking for a reason, he turned around and run! However, before he could take another step, he was suddenly stopped and frozen by an unseen force making his heart clench in fear.
