32 Departure

===========

Sharon's small face stiffened slightly as she saw Daisy slinging a bag over her shoulder, looking somewhat surprised. "Are you going like this? You'll encounter various problems during the mission, and being unprepared could be fatal."

Daisy was also puzzled and asked her best friend, "What did you bring?"

"Clothing, firearms, communication tools, lighting equipment, rope, and some fast food..." Sharon Carter listed off a long string of items, counting them on her fingers.

Daisy felt like she was seeing the scene of her first trip to Puerto Rico. Back then, she had prepared a lot of things but later ended up discarding them all.

This girl still lacks experience.

However, she didn't discourage Sharon Carter's enthusiasm, casually saying that as long as she had weapons, it was fine.

Arriving at the rendezvous point, Black Widow was leisurely waiting for them.

She was also empty-handed, showing no signs of nervousness about the mission. She even seemed to have applied light makeup. All the trainees had seen her custom combat suit before; she usually wore it as underwear, and in case of a battle, she could change into it within ten seconds. Her primary weapons were concealed in a tactical belt, though for routine battles, she rarely needed to use them.

Hill, who seemed to have executed many missions, also walked steadily, carrying a travel bag.

"Could you help me carry some later? We're good sisters, right..." Sharon realized she had packed too much weight and pleaded in a low voice to Daisy.

The naughty Daisy smiled brightly, opening her own shoulder bag and gesturing for Sharon to look. "You see, my bag is already full. Carry your own stuff, hehe he..."

Hank Pym finally appeared in Hungary, but it didn't necessarily mean he was still there now. Based on the current evidence analysis, the last witness saw the old man ten days ago.

They needed to gather information first, so they were dressed in casual clothes.

The group boarded a Quinjet, and Black Widow set the coordinates, activating stealth mode before flying automatically to Hungary.

Without a word, Daisy took her good sister Sharon's tablet and began reviewing Dr. Pym's information, scrolling through the extensive data at a fast speed of ten lines at a glance.

Dr. Pym's contributions to modern physics were terrifying. He discovered subatomic particles that could change the size of objects, naming them Pym Particles.

These particles reduced the relative distance between atoms, allowing an object to shrink while retaining its original strength. Even Tony Stark's dad, Howard Stark, was impressed by this achievement.

Dr. Pym's wife was a biologist who developed a bio-helmet capable of sensing and controlling ants. Combined with Pym Particles, they together created the first Ant-Man.

Although Dr. Pym wasn't Hungarian, his wife was born there. The couple, one being Ant-Man and the other Wasp, defended world peace together, and their relationship and experiences were enviable.

Unfortunately, happy times are always short-lived. During a missile crisis, Wasp disappeared into the subatomic space. Since then, every year, Dr. Pym would spend a few months in Hungary to commemorate his deceased wife. Over time, he also moved some of his experimental facilities there.

Comrade Pym leaving S.H.I.E.L.D. didn't mean he gave up research. The current mission might be related to his research.

While Daisy delved into the old man's life, Hill disassembled firearms, and Sharon was a bit embarrassed to have packed her backpack with so much stuff, intending to streamline it before disembarking.

Seeing them all busy without any communication, the leading agent Black Widow felt a headache coming on. She thought it necessary to explain some precautions for the mission to the newbie recruits.

As a former enemy agent who defected to the United States, she always avoided trouble whenever possible, didn't form alliances, and usually acted as if she were invisible in meetings. Unfortunately, many times, things do not depend on her will.

Allowing her facial expression to relax a bit, Black Widow, Comrade Romanoff, casually said while sitting next to the others, "Since we're on a mission together, shouldn't we better understand each other's abilities?"

She started with her own introduction, "I specialize in firearms, close-quarters combat, driving, and intelligence gathering."

The remaining three fell into silence, and when Black Widow started feeling awkward and cursed their ancestors in her heart, feeling the environment Hill finally spoke, "I am good at various weapons, hand-to-hand combat, coordination dispatch, and intelligence analysis."

It was Sharon's turn next, and she covered a lot of ground, going from personal combat skills to reconnaissance, language proficiency, battlefield medical assistance, and so on.

By the time it was Daisy's turn, she felt a bit embarrassed. With Sharon listing so many skills, if she only mentioned two, it would seem quite basic. After some thought, she said, "I'm proficient in personal combat, firearm use, hacking technology, cooking skills?... and I run very fast, and my parkour is good..." She even felt embarrassed as she continued.

The agents all thought she was being modest. To be in this group, there couldn't be anyone too weak.

With a preliminary understanding of each other's abilities, the next step, following the agents' usual approach, was to discuss the mission plan on the aircraft. Comrade Romanoff really wanted to just send the three to the back and complete the mission herself, but that wasn't realistic; she had to bring them along.

"What are your thoughts on the mission?" Black Widow had her own way of doing things, but Nick Fury had asked her to lead the team, so she needed to exhibit some leadership.

"Search for people who have had contact with Dr. Pym, his neighbors, students, colleagues. Expand the search range; there must be clues among them." Hill's response was still by the book, like reading from a textbook.

Daisy scratched her head a bit, feeling a bit awkward. "What you said is right, but I've already checked this step. You all know about my data analysis company, right? I used algorithms to converge numerous data points and calculated the three most likely places Dr. Pym could have disappeared. They are a private hospital, a Hungarian bar with a name I can't pronounce, and a downtown park. There's a significant flow of people in these three places, and data shows that the old doctor has been to each of them more than once. So, I believe the enemy targeted him in these three places and could have taken him."

"Do you think there is no need to search the lab?" Black Widow asked with interest.

"Checking wouldn't hurt, but I don't think it's necessary. Local agents found no clues, and even if there were, they would have disappeared by now. It's been a long time." Daisy thought for a moment and replied, she didn't think she had detective talent.

The old man had been missing for ten days, she thought that even if the Death elementary school student came, he probably wouldn't find a clue. However, Black Widow insisted on searching, and she didn't object.

The Quinjet landed on the outskirts of Budapest: The Capital of Hungary, and Black Widow contacted local intelligence personnel. They left two Chevrolets for them and provided all relevant intelligence before driving away.
