152 Daisy vs Iron Man

(⌒▽⌒)☞☜(⌒▽⌒)

===================

The Iron Man suit accelerated to its maximum speed. Not to mention Daisy catching up with it, even characters like Storm and Magneto couldn't catch up. Their bodies couldn't withstand such high speeds; Thor could, but not these mutants.

However, Daisy also had an advantage. Using short-range teleportation, she instantly caught up with the accelerating Stark.

She reached out with one hand towards the bright red leg armor of her opponent.

Hmm? Daisy was slightly surprised. The streamlined armor wasn't just for show; under this design, the friction coefficient was very low. The outer coating had a multitude of features, including high-temperature resistance and corrosion resistance.

The first attempt was missed, and she had to extend her nails and reach into the gaps.

Stark's reaction was faster than she anticipated. The leg thrusters activated, and with powerful propulsion, he flew over three hundred meters.

The energy eruption from the thrusters made Daisy decide to retreat.

Seeing himself gaining the upper hand with just one move, Stark, who was usually arrogant, became extremely excited. He chattered incessantly, "How do you fly? Achieving this without any tools and relying solely on the human body is impossible. Are you an alien?"

Daisy felt that these guys in red outfits liked to talk too much. Stark flew into the sky, and she followed suit. As the altitude increased, it had a significant impact on her body; the air became thinner, and breathing became difficult.

But if he thought to make her surrender with just one move, Stark was overestimating himself. The combat experience of the two sides was not on the same level.

However, Stark's unpredictable movements caused Daisy some visual disturbances. He was clearly calculating various data about Daisy.

Seemingly finding a loophole, Stark made a high-speed turn, entering Daisy's blind spot, and then lunged at her.

"Your tactics are too simple. Did Jarvis calculate this for you?" Daisy snorted, throwing a punch in the air. The air compressed, and Stark's thrusters lacked oxygen supply for a moment, which caused them to turn off for a second. Although he immediately switched propulsion methods, Daisy seized the opportunity.

"Come with me!" A water-like azure teleportation portal opened, and Daisy brought Stark back to the ground.

"Is this your superpower? Jarvis has been calculating your vibration frequency. How do you teleport between two points?" Stark said while dodging her straight punch. At the same time, a beam of energy from his palm shot towards Daisy.

Daisy blocked the energy beam with her wrist guard, and with her right hand's five fingers spread open, she prepared to dismantle the armor.

A sharp, ear-piercing sound echoed as her nails seemed to be scratching glass, causing pain in her eardrums. The battle suit remained undamaged, with only five faint scratches on the outer coating.

"Your ability is not bad. Is this nail thing also your power? Since you broke my coffee table, I reinforced the armor, haha!" Stark was proud, feeling like a low-level character defeating a high-level boss with advanced equipment bought in-game, enjoying the sight of the opponent using all means but helplessly failing.

"Uh?" However, the next moment, he couldn't laugh anymore. The high-level boss also had equipment!

Daisy pulled out an adamantium alloy dagger and thrust it towards him.

She planned to bully him with his weakness in close combat. Stark, who used to practice martial arts to show off, had now experienced some hardships and probably regretted it. Most likely, he would start practicing seriously.

But talent in combat was either present or absent. Mr. Tony Stark clearly did not possess such talent.

Fortunately, Daisy wasn't trying to stab him to death; her attack speed wasn't fast. With Jarvis's analysis, Stark managed to block the dagger with his forearm armor just in time before he was about to be dead.

The dagger left a deep gash on Stark's forearm armor, damaging a missile launcher on one of his arms.

"Looks like your armor isn't that strong!" Daisy laughed proudly. Stark could afford the adamantium alloy, but using it throughout the entire suit would compromise other aspects of performance due to its poor transmission properties.

"Your hand-to-hand combat needs improvement!" Those slippery outer shells couldn't grab hold, so Daisy seized the damaged arm armor and, with an arching step, twisted her waist, shook her shoulders, and threw Stark over her shoulder with a resounding crash.

"Overly reliant on high speed, your armor needs improvement!" She grabbed Stark again, treating him like a punching bag, tossing him around several times like the Hulk did with Loki.

"You're nothing special!" Stark wasn't entirely defenseless; he had been searching for an opportunity. When Daisy was talking and momentarily lax, he raised his hands, and the hand impacts began to accumulate energy.

Daisy didn't think she could block a high-energy impact at close range, so she quickly raised her wrist guard for defense. However, Stark's move was a feint. In reality, the foot thrusters were already in position, and with the arm thrusters pushing, he flew away instantly for over two hundred meters.

"Pretty cunning!" Despite not being adept at aerial combat, Daisy caught up.

The aerial battle between the two presented a different scene. Despite Stark's lack of agility, he was faster than Daisy. However, his attempt to create distance failed as Daisy combined flight with teleportation, consistently appearing within a five-meter radius.

Having been defeated in ground combat, Stark could only maintain a precarious equilibrium in the sky. Despite his armor's overall performance advantages, he couldn't seem to bring them into play, which made him frustrated.

Fortunately, he wasn't alone in this battle. The one-on-one situation had a significant disparity, with Jarvis assisting, making it one and a half against Daisy.

Jarvis had been analyzing Daisy's behavior patterns, calculating various variables, and attempting to crack her superpowers.

"Sir, Miss Johnson seems to have mastered some kind of detection method. She isn't tracking us by sight but rather sensing our position through the strange frequency vibrations around us."

"That's great. Any solutions?" Stark managed to evade Daisy's dagger, followed by a barrage of shotgun blasts, finally creating some distance between them.

"Infrasound waves can disrupt her force field." Jarvis's electronic voice suggested.

"Good idea, but my armor doesn't have that device. Note it in the documentation for future research. Let's try a different approach!" Stark accelerated again, evading Daisy's shockwaves.

The attacks transitioned from close-quarters combat to medium-range energy attacks. However, Daisy's shockwaves were a product of her own abilities, while Stark relied on the reactor to supply energy for the impact beams from his hands.

They exchanged blows rapidly, and in this energy-consuming back-and-forth, Daisy was bound to suffer. Even if she was powerful, she couldn't outlast an arc reactor.

Just as she was thinking of changing tactics, Stark seemed to go berserk, flying around in the air as if having a seizure. The thrusters at his feet were releasing maximum power, causing chaos in the entire space filled with shockwaves.
