chapter 55 - The fierce Lioness

Samshiel didn't expect to meet his soon-to-be lover and was expecting her to be on her training. She was the toughest person Samshiel ever fought when he didn't have much power but even then he had many advantages so he was able to persevere.

'Cereza, seal my bloodlines and only give me my basic stats and magic."

["Alright darling! I'll be with Rebecca and her siblings if you need me."]

Samshiel nodded as he could feel his body becoming heavy as he sealed most of his powers but this made him grin. He took a stance and his opponent took hers as well.

"Are you ready you damn lioness?!"

"Of course, brat let me see how much have you gotten stronger!"

He was extremely mad at himself because he promised to be the one to punch her but now look what happened.

He dashed while coating his arms with his Shadow Demise magic which collided with her Fire magic. The shockwave ended up destroying the windows of the nearby buildings.

Asta who was on the sidelines couldn't see what happened because how fast they moved. Samshiel lowered himself trying to trip her.

"Renewal taekwondo lowest hoechook!"

Predicting this, Mereoleona burst herself in flames pushing Samshiel back then leapt to punch him but he was able block it by doing X with his arms sending him fifty meters away from where they were.

"Renewal taekwondo arang!"

Samshiel then grabbed her arms and pulled her to elbow her face. This didn't affect her the slightest as she jabbed Samshiel's face. This didn't even faze him as both punched each other in a deadlock.

""COME ON BRAT/LIONESS!!""

Both screamed at the same as they rained a barrage of punches that evenly matched each other. Samshiel couldn't stop grinning feeling the affection of Mereoleona both from his parameter and their fight.

The people watched in awe as they could feel that both beasts were fighting for dominance. None was in advantage to the other and both stood firm.

"Still tough as ever!"

"Brat you're holding back!!"

His grin widened while lifting his restrictions slightly as he readied his fist that was so fast that Mereoleona couldn't dodge it.

"What are you two doing!?"

Before it could hit her face a voice shouted and this made Samshiel groan in annoyance. Mereoleona frowned and screamed at the person responsible.

"Damn lazy brother how dare you interfere with my fun!!"

"If I didn't stop you then more collateral damage will occur!"

Mereoleona only clicked her tongue in annoyance while she approached Samshiel biting his neck which he let her do but before he could ask why she instantly kissed Samshiel making Fugeleon's jaw drop.

"Hey brother did you fin-EHHHHH!!!!"

Leopold was beyond shocked seeing his wild big sister kissing a man younger than her by a large margin.

Samshiel who was also shocked but accepted her lips since he knew how frustrated she could have been when he left. He knew that the bite was a significant sign that she had chosen him as mate.

Mereoleona was truly eccentric when it comes to her lioness persona. He remembered how she once purred when he patted her head.

"Damn brat, are you thinking about something rude about me!?"

"Perhaps but I hope you explain this to your brothers over there."

She nodded and went toward her siblings who were still in daze. Mereoleona immediately took the privilege to punch Fugeleon.

"You useless weak brother!! I heard you nearly lost your life!!"

Mereoleoma went on a rampage scolding Fugeleon while Samshiel returned to Asta who was still shocked from the display of power.

"Hey Asta let's go if you continue like that a fly might enter your mouth."

Asta followed Samshiel towards the inner palace where the Wizard King requested Asta's assistance while asking Samshiel for information about his enemy.

As they walked Asta was in deep thought about how much he needed to train in order to become the Wizard King. He learned using Ki in one of his quests enabling him to apply his demon form for a short duration.

Perhaps he would've been much stronger if Samshiel had given him more power but Samshiel didn't want to babysit Asta for much longer as his fate is in this world.

Samshiel only gave powers to his lovers excluding Mereoleona because they are going to follow him in his adventure.

They finally met with Max who introduced himself to Asta. The place was cliché hidden chamber that a normal person wouldn't know about.

"Asta, Samshiel, how have you been!?"

"I feel awesome to be here!"

"Nothing much just been kissed by a lioness."

Julius was confused at what he meant and remembered Mereoleona and thought. 'She's back huh.'

"Now then Asta if you can help me by removing the magic while I talk to Samshiel about his recent encounter."

Asta excitedly whipped out his sword and tapped the guard on his temple as it erased the spell. Max immediately casted his magic displaying all sorts of memories.

One particular memory was talking about kidnapping Blue Rose members to be sold as sex slaves. The images were Sapphire and Zihao Yu.

The atmosphere suddenly turned cold and no one knew why such a thing was happening. The Wizard King dismissed the change of the atmosphere because it wasn't directed at them.

Samshiel began to explain the magic and descriptions of each member. This made the Wizard King fascinated about their magic wishing to see it.

They waited for a couple of minutes until the magic captains arrived excluding Fugeleon who was currently being scolded by the lioness.

Seeing that almost everyone was here the Wizard King decided to reveal the culprit behind the invasion.

"Now, tell me who is the culprit."

The enemy proceeded to lifelessly say the name of the Purple Orca captain. This made him try to deny the accusation but the evidence was too strong for him to be safe.

"Wait! I promise I'll clear my name!"

He tried to use his magic but something strange happened. He couldn't use his grimoire and realized that the magic captains were not moving at all!

"Oh my no one has ever managed to piss me off as much you did. Congratulations! I should give you a reward."

Dread was looming over as he saw Samshiel calmly standing there with his eyes closed with a third eye that had star like symbols(Otsutsuki symbol).

"WHAT MAGIC IS THIS!?"

"What you see is one of my abilities called Tsukuyomi. I want to see how much you can hold your sanity when you spend a thousand years in here."

Samshiel's Tsukuyomi was actually an infinite one where he could make that person to be under illusion as much he wants. He was extremely pissed at the very thought of harming people dear to him.

Though he knew they wouldn't be in any danger because of how powerful they were but it doesn't make him less calm. Especially under the influence of his [True Dragon God Bloodline] and [Tyrant Demonic Emperor Bloodline] he was extremely protective of his "treasures".

Samshiel slowly walked up to him but with every step despair was consuming him. The degree was unlike any mortal mind could correlate.

His face that was drenched in cold sweat was grabbed by Samshiel while giving a menacing smile.

"Now then let's have some fun."

Upon hearing such a simple phrase, he felt thousands of blades piercing his body, feeling every muscle fiber being torn to shred. The pain was infinite repeating itself over and over.

Samshiel enjoyed every single bit of his suffering as he heard him scream in agony. Of course after he finished having fun he made sure to erase his memories about this but not the dread he felt.

Outside the illusion, the magic knight captains were surprised to see him frozen for a moment before he started screaming in pain. No one knew what happened except Charlotte.

"What are you doing? Capture him!?"

The captain stopped being in daze and immediately restrained him. After a while they used memory search magic and saw the horror he inflicted.

The anime has never shown it but his actions were beyond cruel, living in debauchery and ignoring the lives of the citizens.

All the captains looked at him in disdain seeing the dark truth of his actions. This made Wizard King contemplate about his decision on making him a captain.

Samshiel patted his shoulder adding some of his holy aura calming him down. He respected the Wizard King for his actions and what he had done in order achieve of a kingdom.

After they all finished their tasks, some of the captain took the time to talk about the recent investigations of the related case. There were no leads about who is the leader aside from the description provided by Samshiel.

Mereoleona then arrived with Fugeleon who seems to have a bit conflicted expression while Leopold was outright drained from the scolding.

Fugeleon proceeded to apologize for being late and continued to inform about the recent reports. Mereoleona went towards to Samshiel giving him one last punch.

"Damn brat you have been holding back by lot!"

"Perhaps, but you should know that you will not defeat me anymore even in bed."

The people hearing this tripped and couldn't believe someone has the sanity to say it outright while The Vermillion brothers just coughed out blood. This didn't affect Mereoleona in the slightest and she accepted the challenge.

"HA! I hope you don't disappoint me then! Let's go you two!"

The two brothers were dragged by Mereoleona while she planned to 'Train' Leopold instead of Fugeleon.

Samshiel sweat dropped thinking about the torture Leopold will experience being trained by that brute.

Ignoring the people's disbelief, the Wizard King decided to dismiss everyone. Samshiel told Asta to go first as he had business attend to.

Asta didn't think much about it and went back to the base. Samshiel went and followed a certain magic knight captain while being hidden by the shadows.

The captain changed his form into a short black-haired man with lazy looking eyes. He was lazily walking back to return to their hideout when Samshiel revealed himself.

"Long time no see, Liar."

Liar was surprise and tried to find the source of the voice but couldn't. After a while he heard the sound of footsteps and saw Samshiel in his Jade Emperor looks with his third eye open.

Being an otaku, he really loved looking like the Jade Emperor but it was also due to his soul. Both of them was one and the same. He thought of visiting God of High school verse just to beat living shit out of Imoogi and that monkey.

"You're that kid that we fought!"

Liar couldn't help but sweat knowing just how powerful he was. Being an ant in front of him wasn't even an understatement. And his calm smile was the most menacing thing as it giving his enemies false hope.

"Yes, I am who you think I was but that doesn't matter because I'm here to offer you a deal."

Liar couldn't sense any lies in his words and decided to listen as it was pointless to decline knowing he could have killed him already.

"Tch, what is it tell me?"

"It's simple I know you know the truth that the humans and the prince never truly betrayed you, am I right?"

Liar eyes widened since he couldn't believe that someone knew about the truth. He realized that they were just dancing within Samshiel's palm.

"Do not worry, I will not interfere with your plan in attacking this kingdom. I am only here to offer you an opportunity, of course you could decline as the decision is yours alone."

Liar could sense no lies in every word he said. Not having any other choice he decided to trust his guts.

"What would that offer be?"

"That will be….."
