Chapter 338 - A loss is a Loss

A normal person would only see the beginning and the end of their movement. The speed in which they move defy all logic and their individual technique is able to display a devastating effect.

Caelum Myriad Blade Style containing all the sensation of a bladed weapon into one harmonized itself when paired with a singular blade. The primal technique of mixing two opposing elements from the Yin and Yang to perform his latest technique.

He executed them in combination creating a constellation line each time he halted his blade to change direction. When someone changes the direction of their initial attack they would always have the inertia build up from the first movement, thus his technique removed these flaws by having the two blades.

The first Yang followed by Yin afterward repeats itself until redoing them but in reverse to complete the Yin Yang Blade Three Slashes.

Caelum blade essence condenses itself in hope of defeating his opponent but unfortunately the man he fought was Miyamoto Musashi who foresaw the flaws of his technique exploring them before cutting through his flesh.

The two silently while receiving genuine praise from his opponent but he did have time to react seeing his vision grow cloud before vomiting blood and falling into his  knee.

Tokugawa worried for the young man and wanted to head their beg for Miyamoto to not kill him but held himself back knowing he would sully his pride as a warrior.

He only hoped that a miracle would happen and the young man would not die. Miyamoto turned his way to the vulnerable boy who struggled to stand up overwhelmed by the pain in his eyes.

It was due to the fact that his right eye had been cut, blinding him. Though it would be easy for him to heal it with Qi but then the eye won't be much weaker than his original one.

Furthermore, the wound would serve as a way for him to advance in his skills and ability when handling a blade. The only reason why he was in so much pain was not because of Miyamoto rather the backlashes from combining both Yin and Yang Blade style together.

He knew that it was imperfect and flaws that could be exploited yet this is the only way to even touch the Legendary swordsman.

"You've well and would have been a great warrior but this is the end."

Before Miyamoto could land a killing blow his instinct told him to take a step back but it was too late when a palm placed itself to his abdomen.

Caelum bask in his own blood stood firmly planting his feet on the ground outstretched his palm unto the legendary swordsman before circulating the Yin and Yang trapped within him.

"Yang Wheel Palm strike."

Expelling his stored energy into his opponent causing him to drop the blade flinging a few meters yet remain standing and conscious.

Caelum breathless having his body ache in pain but smirked landing a direct hit into the legendary swordsman.

Tokugawa was shocked and relieved to see the young boy still standing. He planted a direct attack never expected to see a Martial art this profound.

"Tian-san, what did you do? I was certain you've been cut?"

"Heh..Iike said I alone decided it. Should we continue?"

"This is surely getting more interesting!"

Caelum took his blade once again before proceeding to fight him despite his injuries. He wanted to see how their battle turned and began clashing their blade once again.

Both savor their swings and parry showing the fruit of their labor. He lived up to the name of everyone throughout Japanese history.

The technique of a man who fought in countless battles in pursuit to refine his skills and blade. Embodying the meaning of a swordsman.

Caelum gradually felt his own slipping away and needed to end their fight or it would be the end of him.

Miyamoto understood the ever growing force from his movement and instinctually gripped his weapon more firmly while Caelum change his stance more.

"Recoilless Yang Heaven kick."

At that moment he spinned his body into a hurricane that was unavoidable, directly hitting Miyamoto to the side of his head momentarily.

"Recoilless Yang Heaven Strike!"

Burying the legendary swordsman into the dirt proceeded to execute a straight stumped kick knocking the legendary out cold released nearly all the force he stored cracking the ground into spiderweb.

He removed his feet trampling Miyamoto before falling into his knee again and finally succumbed to his wound passing out cold.

"...It's a draw then."

Both were knockout colds that ended up bringing them inside, checking in their health before laying them to rest. Meanwhile, Caelum remained fighting Miyamoto in his mind and continuously sharpening his technique.

Their blade clashed countless times and always sliced into pieces unable to land a single hit. He had unparalleled skills and invincible power that is always contained.

After a while his remaining eye before quickly opening them and scanning where he was afterwards tried to recall what happened before passing out. He only knew that he was able to land a hit on the legendary swordsman.

"It appears the battle was a draw."

Caelum heard a voice turn to see Tokugawa smoking while he took those sentences. He barely stood a chance if not for his unorthodox way of fighting and the legendary swordsman having only a single blade and not even the one he had grown to become a legend.

He recalled his fluid move and when their blade struck each other showing how both of them were desperately trying to win over the other.

The monster held back numerous times even had the chance to kill him much quicker if he had taken it seriously. He had the precise control over who to fight, kill and win over.

Despite his acknowledgements held nothing when he had pitied Caelum and held back. He wanted to have a rematch but knew it was far too hasty and needed to clear his mind first.

"Young man, you are fortunate to be alive. If you had not knocked him then you wouldn't be here."

"Hehehe I knew there's no chance I would win since the beginning."

"Ah? Then why did fought him?"

"To understand the essence of the blade. There is nothing to it. I'm not one to prove my beliefs in My Martial art and wished to sharpen even further than before."

Caelum understood the Path of the Blade but never the essence of it. To simplify the difference between the two, let's say a cup is the Dao, then the essence is the content of the Dao.

The path was hazy but now it was more clear than before. He only needed the opportunity to enlighten himself with the experience he encountered.

There where he'll be able to uncover the truth afterwards see the ways to turn it into an embodiment.

"Even so, you were able to knock the legendary swordsman out cold."

"I feat that holds no merits. Now that I've recovered I'll excuse myself, Tokugawa-san."

"Wait, aren't you going to wait until Miyamoto wakes up?"

"I doubt he's still asleep. Am I correct, Miyamoto-dono."

From the sliding door came the legendary swordsman intently staring at him containing a new expression. He never expected to be out cold by an attack that held a force enough to shatter the ground.

"It appears our match is a draw, do you wish to have a rematch?"

"...No, I lost and would not challenge you again."

Caelum did not deserve to be alive, only living due to his opponent's consideration. Though, despites his bitterness in the match did not have any desire to die since his wives would kill him.

This is at least a suitable payment for losing the match without any of them getting hurt. Miyamoto appeared to be dissapointed slashes at Caelum but it was deflected rather easily, shocking him.

"You improve rather quickly."

"Like I said it's my loss and won't fight you."

"Wait, young man. I forgot to ask you the reason why I've called you here."

"Let me guess someone is going to fight Miyamoto-dono and you're afraid of this person dying?"

"Y-Yes!? How do you always predict things!?"

"Intuition and deduction. I will be there to watch them fight and see what I can do."

Caelum left the Tokugawa residences while sensing the legendary swordsman having great interest in their battle. Only time would tell when their blades cross once again.
