Chapter 137 - Side story 2

Walking down the streets of liones, Caelum was currently with his mother who wanted some new environment to be around. She was clinging into her arms as the female thought they were wonderful couple not knowing the truth.

Caelum notice his mother was looking at something and found a children bully a little girl. Both quickly interfered with Celine mother instinct quickly acted looking at the little girl if she was harm while caelum looked down the young boy bullying a the little girl.

"Listen boys how can you call yourself a man when you gang up on little girl!? Did she do something to anger you?"

"She said that she want to be a holy knight but only a boy can join and weak girl like her can't join!"

One of the bolder young boy shouted causing Caelum eyes to crack open revealing his slightly form galaxy eyes to young boy who instinctively prostrate themselves. He gave them menacing smile then began to scold then berating them with words until they ran crying to their parents.

"Good grief this people are really sexist. Hey mom how is she? Is the little girl alright?"

Caelum turned towards his mother and instantly recognize the little girl which was Jericho. He walked up to them then kneeled down seeing her tears crying from being bullied but caelum patted her head and saw his fade made her eyes go wide.

"Oh you the handshome onii-chwan!?"

Her pronunciation was rather cute and caelum reminded of his daughters when they were young. Caelum looked at his mother who giggled commenting about striking the young girl.

"Jericho!? Thank god your safe!"

Caelum turn to see a young boy looked exactly the young rushing towards them confused who they were but was relieve to see his little sister safe.

"Are you the brother of this child, young boy?"(Celine)

"Y-yes I'm sorry if she cause trouble even though I told her to stay put."

"It wasn't a problem but I must ask where are you parent?"

"My mom was busy and I brought her outside to play but she wander off too far…I'm sorry again. Jericho lets go back."

Her brother demanded but Jericho refused as she was being held by Caelum sticking her tongue out. Caelum chuckled how the little girl wanted to be spoiled by him.

"Well I think your sister doesn't want to go down. Why don't you show us the where your parents are? I think its best we tell them what happened."

The young boy nodded as he took them to their parent and minutes later found themselves in small flower shop. Celine was instantly captivated by the fragrant of the flowers.

"Mom I found Jericho and someone want to talk to you!"

The young boy shouted calling for his mother and few minute later came a long haired and mature version of Jericho. She quickly approach them seeing his daughter being carried by handsome young man cause her stagger. Celine notice it remain quiet because its another fine addition to Caelum's harem.

"Thank goodness your alright! Did she cause trouble for you? If she did then I truly sorry."

"Hahaha No it wasn't a problem and I find her company rather cute. Anyway, I presume you are their mother can you tell me where your husband is?"

"….I apologize but I'm the only one raising them."

"Oh sorry to hear that but we found her being bullied by some children on the streets and thankfully we stopped them before causing anymore harm."

She was shocked to hear what had happened but relieve to see she wasn't hurt or anything. Unknown to her , it was due to Celine her daughter that the bruised had complete vanish.

"Thank you helping my daughter…"

"Just call me Caelum and this woman here is Celine."

"Hello there its nice to meet you and I must say that your shop is wonderful if you don't mind can I check a closer look?"(celine

"Nice to meet you, well my name is Mia. Of course I mind and can I invite for some lunch for helping my daughter?"

"We would love to!"(Celine)

Caelum unexpectedly gotten invited by the mother of Jericho wasn't even mention in the manga. He was playing with Jericho braiding her hair who enjoyed his hand on her hair. Meanwhile, her mother was cooking being help by Celine who insisted in assisting her was looking at caelum and how her daughter was so close to him.

She wanted a man like Caelum who from their conversation was an amazing company. Celine smiling looking at her who notice her gaze blush embarrassing thinking she would feel that way in man who's already had someone. After a while the food was cook and everyone sat down to eat the meal.

Jericho was having a hard time to use a spoon made Caelum help feed her patience giving his fatherly instinct at works. Mia asked few things about the two which they obliged and amaze that Caelum was a mercenary who was string enough to defeat a holy knight but she didn't fully believe about his strength yet her children excitedly ask about the outside world.

He laughed told them about the different clan and land that had many wonderful things. They were excited to grow up and see for themselves the wonders of the world but Jericho wanted something else.

"Marry me, onii-chwan!?"

"Once you grow up and strong then I'll think about it."

Mia heard her daughter couldn't help but giggled since she does it to someone handsome. After the meal, Caelum took the children to play leaving his mother with Mia behind. Once they were far away, Caelum took them for ride in the sky summon Kaisel and flew into the sky.

"You two won't need to wait and we can see it them right now."

The two children felt the strong wind and saw the vast land from below made them overwhelmed in joy. They saw many wonderful places with small island filled with unique creature to a dent full of dragon. After their exploration the children grown tired and brought them back to their mother who saw them smiled.

"Thank you for playing with them. I'm grateful since they don't have a father to be their for them."

"It wasn't problem as I enjoyed their company."

Caelum and his mother said their goodbye returning to their home. The two occasionally visited Mia and her children who happy to see Caelum. Every time he visited, Mia felt her heart beating and how perfect of a man Caelum was as she amazing in handle children. To be fair he had many wives that gave birth and using avatar had help the ways in handling them.

Four years went by and jericho had grown enough for her to be trained by Caelum who accepted it meanwhile Mia had complete fell in love with him and only held back by certain force(Author) to confess.

Jericho was trained by caelum using a the sword specially a rapier as she was agile and had the power to use Ices magic like her brother who joined as well. The training was difficult but they process exponentially with the guidance of caelum.

"So how is your mother doing?"

From present Caelum sat beside jericho who leaning on his shoulder looking at the stars. She confessed her love to him after joining the sins adventure.

"She's doing fine but…"

"I know and I think I'll bring you two my empire. Actually lets go get your mother."

Caelum stood up and wrapped his arms around Jericho teleporting themselves in the room where a beautiful woman sat down looking at them slightly shock.

"I-Is that you Caelum!?"

She quickly got up from her bed and slowly walk up to him making sure if he was real. Caelum grabbed her hand that was holding his cheek. Mia who hadn't seen him for few years jumped and tightly hugged him while her daughter watch while smiling. Few minutes later, she let go and question about everything had happened which he happily revealed and showed them his inner world.

The next day, Caelum told meliodas that Jericho had been brought to his home and receive a nod as they went to the next stop which was ghost town and the place where the land of the dead is located. It was the last stopped before caelum finish his task as it he wanted to go to the next world and not because the author wanted to rush.
