Chapter 85 - Labor

Numerous years went by, in those times Mavis had decided to pass down the title of being guild master to Precht since she had already nurtured her guild to be what it was supposed to be. A family who seek endless adventure and find new friends. Caelum had already told everyone about his Immortality and decision to bring Mavis along with him to live beside him. They often visit to check on the guild and spend most of his time with his family while improving his empire. 

Caelum spent years and years perfecting his 'Essence(Qi/energy)', 'Energy(body)' and 'Divinity(Soul'. His inability to breakthrough anymore as the limit of the world already had been reached. He was now like a big fish in a small pond. 

However, he kept improving himself by constantly finding ways to train every aspect of himself. His martial arts were nearly flawless, capable of pinpointing anyone's weakness even without his ability. Caelum thought it was possible for his power to be sealed therefore trained in ways in which he's still able to fight even without any energy or ki.

At mortal level, he is already peaked especially when he is a [ Primarch ] that always refined through age. Caelum was walking through his palace garden with Irene enjoying the scenery and peaceful moment they were having. 

"What's wrong?"

"...I think my water broke."

Hearing her words, Caelum's expression changed and activated his [ Tensei Rinne-sharigan ] spiritual sense and quickly spread it over his wife to check on her condition.

Her water had indeed broken and the baby was being pushed out by the body. Without a moment to waste, Caelum shifted the space to a room and laid Irene into the bed while making sure there aren't any microbes to protect the baby even though the child hardly be affected by a deadly poison. 

'Cereza, is she the only one experiencing labor?'

[ Yes, I'll informed the others while you help her give birth. ]

He nodded letting Cereza handle the other, began to clone himself and started to help Irene give birth. Caelum didn't waste his time in continuously improving his strength but his intellect as well. His understanding of the human body is sublime where he could be renown doctor if he showed his skill on earth. 

"Wahh!"

After getting the baby out, cutting the umbilical cord, and cleaning the baby. Looking at the crying baby in his arms, Caelum passed the baby over to Irene as she calmed the baby down and let it fall asleep within her arms. Looking at the baby in Irene's arms, Caelum sat beside her and sweetly asked.

"What will you name her?"

He looked at her black hair and her pale white skin. The baby had been born healthy and she was slightly chubby. Caelum was watching the heartwarming scene of his wife and daughter never in his life thought that he would be a father. Caelum is unsure if he could be the best father for all the children that soon to come but he would do everything in his ability to take care of them. 

The flowing emotion of life taking its first breath gave him a newfound appreciation and insight in life. Anyone who had seen people give birth in fiction and the media would feel nothing as looking just mundane things but once you truly experience it was completely different.  

Irene caressing the cheek of their daughter gave a bright smile that warmed their heart. They were unaware that their daughter was supposed to experience hardship beyond what a normal person should handle but Caelum had changed their fate.

Soon the other girls came bursting in but were quickly shushed by Caelum not to scare the child. They all nodded then surrounded Irene looking at the sleeping infant. 

"Have you decided on the name?" ( Mavis )

"I do but Caelum, hope you don't mind if our daughter has my last name?"

"Of course, whatever name you choose it would be wonderful."

"I want to name her….Erza. Erza Belserion. "

At that moment, Caelum froze, recalling the story of Irene and how it was supposed to happen and how some children ended up in the tower of heaven. He hid his distressed and anger with a warm smile looking at his wife and daughter. 

"Welcome to the world, My little Erza."

Everyone smiled at that time yet at the same time excited for their turn to give birth since they were impregnated at the same time and likely to give birth in the next few days. 

"Caelum, can I ask you a question?"

"Yeah, what is it, Selene?"

"How does a human give birth?"

Caelum confused then realized something spreading his sense and found that Selene was about to give birth as well quickly shifted the space turning the single room into two surprising the other then watched their husband act to help Selene give birth. 

'I shouldn't have been surprised to see her act this calm.'

He inwardly chuckles having finished helping Selene give birth with his daughter. This only made the other girls more eager to see their own daughter. 

"What will you name her, Selene?"

"Forgive me but I haven't thought of it. Do you want to name her, Caelum?"

Caelum looked at their daughter thinking about a name to give her and gave a nod, having decided a name for his second daughter.

"Ajest, Ajest Mercer."

Once that was done, his wives began to feed their daughter while Caelum postponed his training and spent the next coming week with his wives. The empire had another festive day having gained their Imperial Princesses giving the whole coming months a celebration. 

His other wives soon gave birth, having mostly sons that he proudly expected to become great. The joy whelming up within Caelum was indescribable and more eager to reach newer heights for those he loved. His experience with his children gave more meaning to his life and understand how life and death are connected. 

It started to cause his [ Golden Core ] to react and refined the energy being absorbed in the surrounding flowing like stellar light. Through it all his thoughts went to hai family back on earth and how they'll react to his children but he has to wait a few years with them to properly explain everything. 

Unlike him, they still have mortal morals and values that go against his. Caelum can't blame them if they begin to hate him and only hope things go smoothly. ==========

Exactly 8 years had passed and his children had grown significantly bearing the traits of their mothers with few having the talent for fighting like him. Only Erza, Ajest and Mereoleona's son, Lionheart, was the one who had the same talent in fighting. The rest weren't the same level as them but this didn't lessen his love for each of them.

There were few of his children that were suited to be scholars and other things. His son with Lily had the potential to be a doctor when he found him reading in the library by himself. 

However, there was unfortunate news when he saw that the [ Harem Parameter ] had added his daughter to it. Caelum cursed it while Cereza laughed at his misfortune. 

Caelum can't do anything since he won't even try to ruin his relationship with his daughters. He could only wait until they grew older to see how things went. 

At the current time, Caelum watched as two of his children spar with each other. It was Erza and Ajest who were both talented in wielding the sword with his eldest having a wide arsenal of Treasury of weapons while his second eldest was proficient in Ice magic. 

They were merely 10 yet they both were near his strength when he was at their age. Though, Caelum is far superior in talent because of his innate skill of [ Highest Possible Talent ]. 

His two daughter seem to share the same strict and strong headed personality with Ajest was more stoic than her older sister. Caelum assets the two motivated their drive to impress their father. 

"Prepare yourself sister. Re:quip."

Erza shrouded herself in her [ Heaven's Wheel Armor ] producing a dozen of swords behind her then shot them towards Ajest who gracefully swung her own sword  sending a wave of ice that blocked the blade. Both used [ Koku Shundō ] to leap into the air and see their opponent then flashed where their blades clash. 

'I feel like irresponsible letting my kids fight but those Twitter rant can go fuck themselves.'

Caelum who was on the ground proudly watching the two fights felt slightly awkward since no normal person would let their children fight even more when they have sharp and frankly deadly weapons but fortunately he was not a normal person and knew their capabilities. 

Whosh! 

Clang! Clang! CLANG!

Their blade echoed through their training ground with each swing baring their determination to defeat their opponent. Ajest produces shards of ice surrounding Erza in all directions trapping her in one spot. The ice shard shot towards her at a high speed, however, she changed her armor at the last second.

"Requip: Flame Empress Armor!"

Erza change her armor that allowed him to used fire magic and melted the ice shard instantly allowing him to bypassed Ajest defenses. Even with this, she didn't feel any disadvantage and summoned even more ice shards then produced an army of armor knights made out of ice. 

This made the scarlet haired to grin and light blonde to give a small smile as their clash raged on. She once again changed her armor into Lightning Empress armor, blitzing his way through the hordes of ice and shattered every single one in a flash. 

When she was close enough to Ajest switch his weapon into his Heaven's wheel armor then did upward diagonal slash to her sister, However, it was parried that left her open that allowed Ajest to perform consecutive piercing motion that fortunately was evaded by Erza by the nick of time and deliver a roundhouse kick to Ajest temple flinger into the ground. 

Erza exploited the weakness found from Ajest sword style which left her open when performing the consecutive pierce attack allowing her to deliver a devastating kick.

"Alright, that's enough for today."

Ajest was helped by Caelum who, clinging to her father still stoic but smugly stared at Erza who pouted in jealousy. Caelum noticed this could only awkwardly smiled while patting Ajest head.

"Father patted my head too!"

"Yosh! Yosh! No need to fight. I'll buy you strawberry cake later."

"Yehey!"

"Actually, I was planning on visiting an old place since your mother Mavis went to visit an old friend. Want to come with me?"

"Of course, father."

Caelum smiled, deciding to bring them with him to visit Fairy tail since it's been a few decades since he last visited. He wanted to know if the main cast were there or in case things were completely different. They first went to visit their mother to let them know. 

Soon enough, Caelum opened a portal to magnolia where the fairy tail was and felt nostalgic seeing the town had grown and expanded. 

Caelum, Erza, and Ajest exited the portal appearing into a forest. 

"Is this the place father always told us about? The guild where mother Mavis founded?"

"Yup! I'll have you two join the guild and you can consider this as training." 

Said Caelum as he started walking towards a certain direction to which the sisters followed.

Arriving within the city, Erza and Ajest were observing the place then the scarlet haired noticed this strawberry cake and bought one while they walked around the city. The city was beautiful but not as much as their Empire. Caelum loved to see the children running around as they played, a peaceful environment and some kind of force that is calming to the heart with such a serene sight and feeling they instantly liked the place.

As they walked, Caelum noticed some old people he could recognize, the old people who saw Caelum as a familiar figure to them only thought that maybe he was just his child and looked like him. But if Caelum went and told them who he is, the old people might die from shock.

Caelum only mentions his Immortality to his guildmate and wonders if they passed it to the future guild member but he doesn't care much. The old and new fairy tail are different from one another but still had its spirit

Arriving at the Southern Part of the city, there stood a lone building and its backside is a lake which has become bigger as time passed.

Caelum softly smiled, touching the door to the places where he had friends who had been impactful to his own. Though their life had long ended, their memories still live and push him forward. He saw the beauty of life and death which is why he hasn't gone insane especially how refined his mind is.
