Chapter 37 - Reunion

An entire month went by and Caelum network skyrocketed from the numerous investments he had taken. Furthermore, the reward that came from the mission was to re-enroll into Krendon High School. He may be considered one of the richest men in history from the vast connection and money that he is practically giving some away to charity. 

He had gained Eternum Gear yet decided not to use it just until he was able to meet up with his aunt and cousins. Caelum spends most of his time either with his family or working in his part time job. He could always just quit but knowing Annie who would get anxious when faced with customers decided to stay until they head to high school. 

Furthermore, Annie had deep affection for him that he couldn't just ignore at this point but let things flow for now. The world of black clover was simple considering it had long history of polygamous relationship while in this world common sense view it as horrible thing. 

The only healthy polygamous relationship he had seen was Tengen from Kimetsu no Yaiba that Twitter had to complain about. Regardless, Caelum has been enjoying his time spending having a normal life. Of course he hadn't forgotten his goal and kept training. 

At the current times, Caelum was packing since they were heading to Krendon and spent the rest of the summer in the city. He glanced at his mother and sister who were talking with Annie. Once he finished packing and left most of their stuff since they won't come back. They didn't even bother packing furniture and would just buy new ones. 

"Alright girls, I'm done packing. It's time for a road trip!"

"Yes! I'm really excited to see big sis Penelope and Dalia again! Oh and aunt Nancy too!"

"It's been awhile since I saw my sister in person. I wonder what she'll look like now. Though, the last time I saw her she was an amazingly beautiful woman that had many men courting her. *Sigh* too bad her man was a coward."

Caelum heard about it when he was young hearing how his uncle had abandoned them after having an affair with another woman. He may sound hypocritical when he has a harem and only fortunate enough the girls are open about the relationship. Furthermore, the man was extremely neglectful and hardly remembered what his uncle looked like. 

"Do you think they'll like me?"

"Of course, Annie!! Also this is technically going to be our first time meeting them, I doubt they'll hate us, especially Aunt Nancy." 

Liliena reassured her friend anxiously wondering how the people she'll be living with view her. Though, she was also excited to spend time on the same roof as her crush. 

"You don't have to worry, Annie. My sister is a kind woman and wouldn't mind living with us. Also I always wanted another daughter like you."

She gave her tender hug making Annie smile feeling the motherly affection that she has not felt for a long time. 

"Are you replacing me mom?"

"Fufufu of course not."

"Alright enough you two. Get in the van before we get caught in traffic."

Caelum called out and made everyone hop into his car as he drove the van towards his childhood city that he had not seen for a decade and half. Along the way they were talking about the Eternum game.

"You've really gotten addicted to that game."

"Liliena I promise you it's worth every penny!! Mary and I had been doing an amazing job playing the game!"

"I wish I could play but it cost more than 25,000$…"

"Hahaha damn I didn't want to ruin the surprise…"

He grinning looking at the rear mirror seeing his sister's curious expression that suddenly turned to surprise and shock. His smile grew even wider since he could feel her excitement building up.

"D-Don't tell me…"

"Yup! I bought the gear last week but decided to keep it secret until we settle down in Krendon city."

"Woah! Does that mean we can finally play together!! I need to tell Mary and invite to our preferred server!! Wait, did you also buy one for yourself?"

"Of course but I won't be playing for a while since I've been busy."

"Busy in what exactly, Caelum?"

"That's a secret. Anyway, once I'm done then I'll join you two."

"Thank you so much, Brother!"

"Hehehe okay okay stop, I'm driving!"

Caelum receives a kiss on the cheek while being embraced by his sister who is extremely delighted by the news. She had been jealous of her friends for so long and felt left out but never voiced it knowing how much her brother is struggling. Now that their life had gone more smoothly, they could finally have fun.

"I've actually bought everyone, including Aunt Nancy, Dalia and Penelope. I want to surprise them later once we settle down."

He shared the news since it was just a pretty penny for him when his net worth is around several billions. Caelum prefered to hide the spotlight and had let Cereza to manage them. 

"Wow going all out now?"

"Hahaha well it's just to thank her for helping us. Anyway, before the mood goes down, let's listen to some road trip music!"

Caelum changed the topic since it would take a darker turn if they remember how their life had been full of hardship before things had changed.

Krendon city, the place where Caelum and his family had lived until he was 14 years old. They haven't visited since because of the expenses and how busy everyone is with their life. Driving through the cityscape of the town made him extremely nostalgic how things have changed overtime and felt enlightened by the experience. 

Their numerous new buildings that were built within the city that hadn't been there when they had left. Caelum was told that they still live in the same house and after a while arrive to see the home that had been clear within his [ Mind palace ]. He went outside letting the girls wait for him and called his aunt. 

'Damn this place is really chill despite being in summer but to be fair it's going to be winter soon. Not that it bothers me anyway….did I just qoute Elsa?'

He wore black trench coat with an inner black turtle and pants that were more of his style. It looks melodramatic yet feels rather comfortable in this kind of clothes. Caelum called his aunt trying to inform her that they are outside now. Once that's done, he tells the others to get out of the car and wait for Nancy. 

Few minutes later, a red short haired woman with similar style as his mother yet much shorter and had the same body shape as his mother. It was because the two are actually twin sisters which is why they appear the same with only hair color being the difference.

"Caelum, is that you?"

She was taken aback by the good looking young man before him that made any woman skip a bit. However there is no mistake that he was his nephew on how he smiled at her. 

"Yeah, how are you Aunt Nancy!?"

Nancy didn't hesitate to run up to them and give him a tight hugged where her breast pressed against this chest. Caelum won't be a man if he said he's not enjoying every moment of it. Who would have thought that his aunt would remain this beautiful after so many years.

"Aren't you forgetting about me?"

"S-Sis…."

She heard her sister close by and started to tear up since it was a terrifying experience when her sister was in a coma where death could strike at any moment. Nancy embraces Celine tightly as it's been a long time for them to have this kind of moment. Once their emotional reunion was done, Nancy excitedly invited them inside. 

"Go ahead, I'll just park the car first. See you inside soon."

"Alright, so you're Annie? I hear your voice on the phone and you're really cute in person! It matches your face."

"T-Thank you."

"Come! No need to be shy, this is going to be your new home." 

Caelum smiled seeing them interact and went back to the car to park it. That didn't take long and headed inside to join the others. He exited the car and found a  light blonde hair young woman around his age wearing rather fitting clothes that perfectly complimented her body. She seemed to be taken aback by Caelum's appearance and couldn't help but blush.

"Penny, is that you?"

"C-Caelum? Wow, you've changed a lot!?"

"I should be the one saying that? I mean I knew you'd grow up beautiful but this is just beyond glow up."

"Thank you, I appreciate it. Anyway, sorry I have to go."

"Where exactly? I can drive you there if you want?"

"It's fine I'll do it myself. It's nice meeting you, sorry I had to go."

"Ah, at least give your cousin a hug?"

She was reluctant at first but took the moment to embrace him only to feel the warmth that she hadn't felt before. It was comfortable and soothing that it almost made her forget why she was in a hurry but soon realized it and let go of the embrace.

"See you later, Caelum! Sorry again…."

Caelum waves goodbye while chuckling, seeing that thing would soon get interesting again. He went inside the house feeling a wave of nostalgia once again and found another young woman that had more brownish hair color in braid while wearing yoga pants and a sports bra. Her body was extremely lean with a prominent 11 shape abdomen. 

"Let me guess you're also in a hurry, Dalia?"

"Wait, Caelum is that you? Wow you've changed a lot!?"

Her reaction was the same as Penelope upon seeing his appearance since he was rather enticing and mesmerizing for them to not be taken aback. Furthermore, she could see that he had an extremely fit body base from his posture and broad shoulders. 

"Penny also said the same thing. Anyway, you're probably busy. I won't take much of your time."

"Sorry, I need to run for my training."

"Oh is that so? Maybe we can go jogging Tomorrow."

"That would be great. Thank you for understanding!"

"Hehehe Come on now! At least give me a hug will yah!?"

Dalia hugged him feeling the same emotion as her sister then quickly let go and started to run. Caelum used his senses to find everyone and saw that Nancy was taking everyone for a tour of the house. He went to join them, finding them now in the kitchen to have suffered. 

"Ah, Caelum, glad you could join us. Did you meet with your cousin the way in?"

"Yeah they seem really busy but I don't mind and we can always spend time later."

"Still it wasn't what I originally intended for us to have a reunion…"

"Don't worry, sis. I understand how you feel but that's just how it is and I know they'll come around soon."

"Thank you and I hope it doesn't leave a bad impression on you Annie."

"I don't mind, I think they're kind and just in a hurry. "

"Still I can't believe how much they've changed! I'm jealous of how beautiful big sis Penny is."

"Don't be, I mean my sisters are twins and believe you'll somehow like her when time comes." 

The night went on, spending the time knowing each other and mending the lost moment they could spend together. Caelum unpack his things along with his sister and mother. He had his own room while Annie and Liliena shared the same bed while his mother and aunt would sleep in the same room as well. 

'It's really amazing how things are going. Well, I'm probably going to have a tour around town soon.'

Caelum laid into his end thinking about exploring the town a bit either alone or with someone else. There is exactly one week until school starts once again. He soon fell to slumber waiting for the next day to arrive.
