23 Chapter 23 - Mission

Whirling the container of the glass, Caelum took a sip with the delightful taste of the wine swimming through his throat leaving a burning yet satisfying sensation while taking the aroma from the alcohol. He lowered the glasses looking at his company who was indulging at the taste of the wine. Earlier, Vanessa stopped him and offered to share the wine for some reason. The two now sat down silently indulging themselves with the elegant taste of the wine.

"Right, you haven't told me your name, pretty boy~? Mine is Vanessa Enoteca."

"Caelum Mercer."

Her eyes widen staring at Caelum shocked to hear spoke of his name before giggling that confuses him.

"You're joking right? The captain of the White Tempest squad?"

"No, I am the Captain of the white tempest."

"What? No way, that sounds rather amazing seeing a young captain. I believe Captain Rill was the youngest but you took the title now."

She laughed it off, eager to see what kind of man he was. There were many rumors regarding his position as captain questioning his qualification yet this is what Caelum wanted because it would make his enemy underestimate him giving the opportunity to take them by surprise. 

He enjoyed pretending to act weak where their pride would be trampled under his feet once they realized their fate was now within his hands. Vanessa intently observes his movement, enticed by his charisma. 

"I must say I'm surprised you're willing to offer me a glass when you could have just taken it?"

"Fufufu, a woman like me is full of surprises and if I'm perfectly honest, I'm somewhat drawn to you and don't know the reason." 

"Perhaps you fell for my charm."

"Hahaha who knows but I am enjoying sharing a glass since it would be boring if I drank it alone."

The two laughed while having a long conversation that time seemed to pass through and hadn't realized it's been a few hours since they were talking. Caelum excused himself as they were things that he had to do. 

"Then see you around, Caelum~."

Vanessa seductively whispered towards him who was unfazed by her action and giggled a bit before storming off with Caelum enjoying the view of her body. He smirked once she was gone and pondered when she would have that kind of woman. 

Caelum shook his head then returned to his headquarters where his lovers were waiting for him and spent the rest of the day with them. He may have things to do but spending time with his lover was the highest priority for him. It would be neglectful for him if he were to focus on other things. 

Though they understood the importance of his task was grateful that he was willing to put it aside for them. The next Caelum began to reconstruct the magic acquired from Vanessa whose power was altertering the effect of fate. It doesn't remove the cause and just switch the result into a new one. 

From his understanding, fate has 3 aspects that encompasses it and these are Cause(Past), Present and Effect(Future). The present is the line that connects the two and by moving the present cause the effect to shift. 

The fine thread created from the magic itself was more potent than Vanessa that it was able to slice through virtually anything acting like Ito Ito no mi. Caelum frowns when he tries using the red thread of fate and frowns when he is able to see the previous outcome when he shifts fate using the red thread. 

Caelum removed it and synthesized the effect of the changing fate into his [ Space and Time magic] to alter everything and see the previous outcome. He applied the magic within his golden eyes that gave him the skill [ Foresight ] that acted similar to Observation Haki. 

He smirked at the possibility of turning it into an [ Ultra instinct ] level where his action flows with the events where his mind is null and void. Caelum continued his regime heading to the mountains and continuously trained his power to the highest point able to perform. 

He has already reached a level where he is unable to break through because of how weak the world is. Caelum does not have limits but the world does which he focuses on the things that have reached the highest possible limitation. 

His Mana core had already turned to pure white and only needed time to turn it into an Aether if he was able to find a way in accessing the energy. Caelum placed a heavy burden into his body while exercising numerous martial art techniques. 

The flow of magical energy barely had a problem transferring them throughout his body and entered a zenith state. He finished his training and hadn't comprehended something that he was certain was important. Caelum proceeded to grasp his [ Dragon ] bloodline that radiates an overbearing power and made sure to balance his humanity to avoid becoming a full on [ Dragon ]. 

"Is this?"

[ Yes, that is Dragon Energy and far different from Dream and Magical energy. ]

Caelum was able to grasp the power that flowed through his body and understood it was an energy made by a dragon. The energy was violent yet not as malleable as dream energy. He understood that his bloodline would produce each different type of energy and only made Caelum smile at the thought. 

'Is there anything special about a dragon energy other than sounding cool.'

[ To put it simply, Dragon Energy is necessary for a dragon to function as a dragon. They could use Mana but it couldn't compare to their dragon energy. In addition, the dragon energy is different than Mana therefore if your magic is sealed then you could still use your dragon energy. ]

Caelum understood her words quite clearly and by comparing them to someone removing one part yet forgot the other that is essentially what it's like. He found a substitute for his magical energy and isn't limited by singular energy. A thought came to his mind and pondered the possibility of mixing all the energy together.

[ I don't recommend it when your body is barely able to hold all of that energy. It best to do so once you've reach a certain level where you have better control. ]

'I understand and my intuition told me that even trying would likely cause my soul to shatter.'

Caelum decided on trying to master his control before trying to do anything. It took him quite some time to handle the power but since he wasn't born as a dragon was a feat that few could do.

The next few days, Caelum had been concentrating on training his mastery over the energy that his body could produce. It was clear that he was growing ever slightly on evolving into a stronger dragon bloodline. He has a date with Charlotte and sometimes meets up with Vanessa sharing wine until Caelum decides to invite her to go to the beach since they had a mission at the place.

In the canon, Noelle would have brought the black bulls to the underwater city of a grand magic zone which is a place where dense magic is in place. Caelum now arrived at the place where his appearances attracted quite a lot of people. 

He set up and had a relaxing time since they have a few days until exploring the place. Caelum's bare naked chest shows his tone and shred body akin to Garou's physique. 

"Hope you weren't waiting for too long~"

Caelum turned to look at his lovers who wore a sexy swimsuit that tightly hugged into their body. Vanessa did not mind them staring since she was trying to seduce Caelum and was proud that it was working. Lily was blushing wearing a swimsuit but encouraged herself it was for her "Master". 

"Darling~, what do you think?"

Cereza moves closer to show her body that was matured and entices him to ravage her while Charlotte who lied about going on mission was blushing having to wear a swimsuit by Sapphire who giggled seeing her adorable reaction. 

Noelle and Mimosa followed behind showing their own swimsuit that had its own charm. Caelum couldn't help but feel that he was the luckiest bastard around. Few minutes later, the girls played in the water while Caelum watched them. 

'Hmm? Well look at that.'

He glances to the side upon noticing someone trying to hit on Lily and Mimosa is quickly met with his [ Dragon Haki ] causing them to pass out while the two girls turn to look at him smiling. Caelum felt someone tapping his shoulder and turned to look at Vanessa.

"What can I do for you, Vanessa?"

"Can you give me some sunscreen?"

"Do you really have to ask?"

Caelum smirked while Vanessa knowingly smiled as she laid into the sheet while he applied sunscreen into her back. His hands spread the lotion while massaging her stiff body causing Vanessa to moan from the sensation. For someone who studied numerous books, they included the proper way to massage someone. Though knowing and doing is a completely different thing. It took him quite some time to apply what he knows.

"Umu~ does feel so good, ah~! How are you good with your hands?"

"Hehehe you might already know the answer to do that."

He teasingly said, causing a shiver down her spined and continued to massage every part of her body making sure to tease her. Vanessa felt hot every time his hands moved through her body and realized that he was teasing her.

"Hey~ D-Don't tease me~"

"Hahahaha alright, I just can't help but enjoy hearing your moan."

Few minutes later, Caelum finished applying the lotion and turned to look at Charlotte who was far at the rocky side and quickly went to check her out. He sneaks behind her before wrapping his arms around her. Charlotte was surprised but quickly blushed from the affection she was receiving.

"What are you doing here?"

"Nothing, I was merely looking around. Weren't your purpose for being here is to retrieve the magic stone?"

"Hahaha well yeah but we should lose enough a bit and enjoy the moment even a tiny bit."

Charlotte nodded and decided to enjoy the moment together until their work began. They rejoined the others and played some games.

The next day they all gathered around waiting for Noelle to use her magic. They were suddenly enveloped in some ball shaped water magic where inside had air to breathe.

All of them descended to the underwater city, Caelum observed the place and was amazed to see so many magical beasts which made him think about how they would taste.

The group soon came across a barrier which he quickly used his magic to create a path and entered the place. They arrived where civilization existed, and were directed to one of the biggest temples. Upon entering the room they were greeted by an old man who tried to grope his woman.

Before he could act Noelle punched him which was to his luck because Caelum would have deep fried him. 

The old man introduced himself as the high priest of the place and proposed a game. Caelum declined and cut to the case for their purpose which surprised the old man.

"I'll give it to you in-"

"This is not for you to decide and just hand the stone."

Caelum flared his power causing the old man to tremble in fear and realize that fighting him would be a losing game. He frowned and gave the stone to him then heard a loud crashing noise. The group quickly checked it out and outside was the beastly man, Vetto. 

He noticed Caelum took a step back but understood his purpose for being there. Vettoe noticed the magic notice from his hand and understood that he had to fight them even if he had to die doing so.

"If you want it then you have to take it. But you already knew that."

Caelum showed the stone before storing it and used his armament to coat himself with a silver aura while Vetto did the same and increased his magical energy by several folds.
