4 Chapter 4 Jyahnar, The Herrscher of the ocean

As Drav stared at the unconscious girl, he furrowed his brow. The girl evoked both a familiar and unfamiliar feeling within him. It was similar to when he saw Yae Sakura faint before.

The girl had long violet hair and a petite figure, wearing a priestess outfit and a tiara on her head, but as he racked his brain trying to recognize her, his intuition warned him that there was something eerie about her.

This girl is dangerous!

As Drav continued to observe the girl, her eyelids began to flutter, indicating that she was starting to wake up. Drav's whole body tensed up in preparation for the worst-case scenario, as he was still unsure about the girl's true nature.

"Ahh...Umm, Who am I? Where am I?"

The girl sounded confused as she stare around while clutching her head painfully, Drav sighed in relief as his intuition told him that nothing was wrong. And it seems the girl has amnesia as she is confused about her whole situation.

Then when the girl saw Drav and his appearance, she appeared to be dumbfounded for a few minutes before recovering later and asking Drav with a blushing face and stuttering voice.

"W-Who are you?"

"Me? I'm Drav Itsuki, and I found you floating unconscious in a lake nearby, it seems you are amnesia, do you remember who you are?"

The girl paused for a moment but then shakes her head.

"N-No, I-I don't remember anything..."

"I see"

It seems the girl's amnesia was very bad, as she even doesn't remember her name.

Drav thought so in his mind while trying to use his ability to quickly recognize the girl's identity in his memory and found the surprising fact.

"Fuck!!! She is Jyahnar the herrscher of the ocean on GGZ universe?!"

"But how the hell does the character on the other game appear in this universe?!"

He was taken aback and surprised by the realization that the GGZ universe appeared to be separate from the Honkai Impact 3 universe. Unlike Genshin Impact, which is connected to Honkai Impact 3, the absence of the Imaginary Tree and the Quantum Sea in GGZ seemed to confirm this.

Startled by the sudden outburst, Jyahnar jumped in surprise and looked at Drav with confusion. As she heard the name he shouted, she felt a strange sense of familiarity, but couldn't quite place it. She looked at Drav, waiting for an explanation.

"Jyahnar was your name"

"Jyahnar...is that my name?"

"Yes, that's right.

"T-Thank you..."

Jyahnar bowed down with a blushing face to express her gratitude towards Drav, who felt a bit confused as he didn't give her the name in the first place. However, he decided to let it go and not dwell on it.

"Well, do you remember something after hearing your name?"

"N-No"

"Hmm...Then, would you like to come with me? You're alone in this world, and you seem to have lost your memories. Don't worry I'll do my best to help you regain your lost memory"

Drav said, looking at Jyahnar with a gentle expression. However, he couldn't shake off the feeling of guilt, as if he had kidnapped an innocent child.

"Yes! I-I do!" Jyahnar nodded cheerfully as she agreed with his offer.

"Then, be careful and hold me tight"

After that, Drav picked her up in a princess hug and flew toward Yae Shrine with Jyahnar in his arms.

On the way home, Drav's mind was preoccupied with thoughts about Jyahnar's appearance in this universe and she lost memories. He pondered on the reason behind it all. Jyahnar, being the Herrscher of the Ocean, was undoubtedly powerful compared to the Herrscher of the End in the GGZ universe.

Her personality seems to have changed significantly from her original self. If it were the original Jyahnar, I might have been attacked or even killed for hugging her. After all, the real Jyahnar hates all humans except for Kiana...

Drav thought in his mind while staring at Jyahnar's beautiful face, which got redder and looked away from Jyahnar embarrassed at the fact Drav is staring at her.

"Ahh, I'm sorry, I was not polite to stare at you for a long time"

Drav scratched his cheek with an embarrassed face, knowing his action is noticed by her.

"I-it's Okay"

With that being said, the rest of their journey was filled with awkward silence. After a few minutes, they finally arrived at their destination, where the Yae siblings were waiting with worried expressions.

"Are you okay Drav-kun?"

"Are you okay Drav-Nii?"

Yae Sakura and Yae Rin quickly ran towards Drav, asking him worriedly about his condition, and proceeded to check his entire body to ensure that he was okay.

"I'm Okay guys and thank you for your concern" Drav smiled gently, feeling moved by Yae Sibling's concern.

Then, the Yae Siblings noticed an unknown girl carried on his arm, they feel jealous of the girl but also curious about her, so they asked him who she was.

"She is Jyahnar, the girl I found earlier in the lake. The shooting star we saw earlier was her. It's incredible how she survived the fall after dropping from the sky into the lake."

Yae's siblings were amazed after hearing that, after all, it was a magical thing for a person to be a shooting star. Though, they don't know the real identity behind Jyahnar.

"So what did you want to do with her?"

Yae Sakura asks curiously

"She lost her memory, and she didn't know why she arrived here. so could you arrange a room for her to live in? I will pay for her living expenses, after all, she decide to follow me until she regained her lost memory"

Drav said uncomfortably because he had troubled Yae Sakura.

"W-Well, I'm okay with it, but my father..."

Yae Sakura said with a troubled expression. Her father agreed to her request because Drav had saved her life before, unlike Jyahnar who was a stranger to them.

"Don't worry, I'll talk to him"

"Alright then, I'll prepare it immediately"

After that, Yae Sakura left to arrange the room. Then, Drav and the others went to his room.

"Stay here first, also Rin-chan can you accompany Jyahnar first? I'm going to go to your father to talk about Jyahnar living here"

"Alright Drav-Nii"

Then, Drav left under Jyahnar's pitiful stare and made his way to speak with the Yae siblings' father about Jyahnar's living arrangements. He explained the situation to him and also offered to pay for her accommodation with gold. After some discussion, the Yae siblings' father agreed to allow Jyahnar to stay, as Drav had been very generous in his payments to them previously.

By the way, Drav was surprised to discover that Yae's father had black hair, unlike his daughters who had pink hair. He wondered if the pink hair was inherited from their mother.

Drav had been quite nervous during the negotiation, but fortunately, his powers allowed him to remain calm throughout the discussion. As for how he acquired the gold, the answer was his Transmutation ability that he gained earlier. With this ability, he could turn non-precious metals into gold, allowing him to acquire the necessary funds for the negotiation.

Drav walked into the room and immediately noticed the tense and quiet atmosphere. Both Jyahnar and Yae Rin were not talking to each other. Yae Rin had an awkward expression, while Jyahnar's face was frosty, which made Drav feel uncomfortable. As soon as he entered, the tense atmosphere dissipated, and all eyes turned to him.

"Drav (Drav-Nii)!"

The girls greeted him cheerfully, which made him feel awkward and weird due to the previous atmosphere. Curious about what happened while he was gone, he asked Yae Rin about it.

"Well, hahaha, there was nothing wrong with it. It's just that Jyahnar is uncomfortable around unknown people,"

Yae Rin explained with an awkward laugh on her face. Doubting Rin's answer, Drav then turned to Jyahnar and asked her directly. Jyahnar blushed and nodded, confirming Yae Rin's explanation.

Even though he still has a lot of doubt in his mind about that, he still dwells on it and begins to talk about his negotiation earlier while waiting for Yae Sakura.

"B-but I want to live with Drav"

Jyahnar stammered with a bright red face. Drav was surprised to hear that, as he had never before had a girl express a desire to live in the same room with him.

"NO! No way! You couldn't live with Drav-Nii, because you are not married to him yet!"

Yae Rin's face turned red with shock and embarrassment upon hearing Jyahnar's bold statement. She denied it immediately, stating that it was not possible to live with Drav without being married to him. Jyahnar's face darkened, and a chilling silence spread throughout the room, signaling that the situation could escalate.

Sensing the tension, Drav quickly intervened to diffuse the situation. His intuition warned him that if he didn't act quickly, the situation could escalate and have disastrous consequences. He felt a bead of sweat roll down his back as he worked to ease the tension in the room.

"Alright, alright, calm down you two. Let's not make a big deal out of this"

Drav tried to diffuse the tension in the room with his words, but unfortunately, he failed as the chill only worsened and Yae Rin's face began to pale. Realizing the severity of the situation, he knew he had to resolve this dangerous conflict before things escalated any further.

"Alright, Jyahnar could live in the same room with me"

Drav let out a tired sigh and reluctantly agreed to let Jyahnar live in the same room with him. Jyahnar's face immediately brightened up with happiness at his decision.

As the tension dissipated, Drav noticed Yae Rin trembling and asked her if she was okay. Yae Rin nodded her head, but her fear was palpable. Drav understood and tried to assure her that everything will be okay. Jyahnar, oblivious to the situation, kept on talking excitedly about living with Drav.

After that, Yae Sakura returned and informed Drav about the arrangement earlier, but Drav told her about the decision for Jyahnar to live in the same room as him, which make Yae Sakura frown, feeling unhappy and jealous about his decision.

"Don't worry, because if I didn't live with her, this world will be destroyed"

Drav said with a serious expression as he patted Yae Sakura's shoulder. However, she looked at him with a skeptical expression on her face, as if thinking, "Are you joking with me?" But as she saw Yae Rin's pale and trembling figure, she began to believe that the situation was serious.

"Alright, it's very late now, I think we should sleep right now"

"Okay, then, Goodnight to you two"

Then, Yae Sakura pulled the frightened figure of Yae Rin, who kept trembling and bowing down because she was afraid of Jyahnar, out of the room. After they left, an awkward silence filled the room again, with Jyahnar smiling happily at Drav, who was still feeling embarrassed about the situation.

He coughs slightly as he pulls the futon and makes a copy with his ability, Jyahmar was quite surprised at the sudden copy of the futon, but her attention is pulled after Drav put the copy apart from his futon.

"Alright, you will sleep here and I will sleep there"

"N-No, I want to sleep near you!"

"Eh?"

Jyahnar said firmly with a determined expression on her cute face. Drav let out a tired sigh and reluctantly agreed to the arrangement. They then set up their futons with each other apart before settling down to sleep.

Drav felt extremely tired after the events of the day. He hadn't expected the sudden arrival of Jyahnar, the Herrscher of the Ocean from the GGZ game in this universe. He felt a heavy burden to prevent Jyahnar from destroying the Earth, as Herrschers, or planetary honkai beasts, like Jyahnar, were incredibly dangerous individuals.

"Good night Jyahnar"

"Good night Drav"

With that, he closed his eyes to sleep but was suddenly surprised when he felt Jyahnar hug him tightly. He couldn't help but smile, feeling touched while also confused by her sudden display of affection, especially since they had only met a few hours ago.

Drav pondered about the reasons why Jyahnar seemed to have an affinity towards him. Perhaps it was because of his ability to make anyone like him, or it could be because he was the first person she saw after waking up with no memory of herself. The reason was, Drav knew he needed to be cautious and keep a close eye on Jyahnar to prevent any potential danger. He slowly drifted off to sleep, with Jyahnar still hugging him tightly.
