2 Chapter 2 Yae Sakura

Closing his eyes, Drav decided to rest for a while, even though he didn't feel tired from walking for more than hours before.

Then, after taking a one-hour nap, Drav's whole body jolted as his instincts kicked in. It was a strange feeling that he couldn't quite describe, almost like having a "spidey sense" similar to Spiderman's ability.

"W-what the hell? What's going on now?"

Although Drav felt puzzled about the situation, he decided to follow his instincts. He had a feeling that he would regret it if he ignored what his instinct was telling him.

Drav stood up and look down at the land below him, he gulped at his current height but his instinct tell him he can land without hurting his feet. So he jumped and he landed without hurt.

He then rushed as fast as he could to where his instincts were telling him. While running, he didn't notice his speed increasing gradually, and the longer he ran, the faster he went.

While Drav rushed toward his destination, meanwhile somewhere in the forest, a battle was going on, a bloodstained, pink-haired girl in shrine maiden clothes was seen wielding a katana sword.

In front of her, there was a large pack of wolves, all adult-sized, with strange purple lines on their bodies. They were Honkai beasts, and the maiden seemed to be fighting them fiercely. Behind her lay many wolf corpses, evidence of the brutal battle that had taken place

Yae Sakura, the girl in the shrine maiden clothes, panted heavily, feeling fatigued and dizzy. Her consciousness began to blur, and she struggled to stay upright.

"...It is my end?"

Yae Sakura spoke hoarsely, her eye began to feel heavy as she felt like was about to faint at any moment.

However, she thought of her sickly younger sister at home waiting for her return. And with the last remaining shred of her will, she forced herself to stay awake. She knew that if she lost consciousness, her life would be over.

"NO! I can't die yet, Rin still waiting at home for my return! HAA!!!"

Yae Sakura was quite dumbfounded but relieved because her danger is over.

"Thank you"

She smiled in relief with a tired face toward Drav before losing consciousness and collapsing to the ground.

Drav was stunned as he saw the girl suddenly collapse and lose consciousness.

It was his first time dealing with an injured girl, especially one who had fainted on her own. He felt a sense of panic rise within him as he looked at her, wondering what he should do next.

Despite his efforts, Drav was unable to uncover the true nature of his mysterious power. However, during his experimentation, he discovered that his power granted him several abilities, such as telekinesis, flight, telepathy, pyrokinesis, force fields, Keem intuition, transmutation, and more.

Drawing from his observations and the abilities he had gained, Drav began to speculate that his mysterious power might be linked to the concept of 'transcendence'. He suspected that his power could grant him anything he lacked or was limited in as a normal human being before. Drav couldn't help but grin wildly, feeling exhilarated by the immense power of his telekinetic ability. He realized that this power would come in handy, especially in this unfriendly universe for males. Drav now felt more confident and secure knowing that he had this incredible power at his disposal.

When Drav tried to test his other abilities, Yae Sakura begin to wake up, She looked confused and puzzled.

As Yae Sakura slowly regained her senses, she looked around in confusion and asked.

"Where am I...?"

Suddenly, Drav spoke up, "Hey, you. You're finally awake. You were trying to cross the border, right? Walked right into that Imperial ambush, same as us, and that thief over there."

Yae Sakura looked puzzled and replied, "T-Thief? What are you talking about?"

"Ahahaha, just kidding. Anyway, are you okay now?"

Drav chuckled and reassured her, then his face softened with a look of concern, as he asked if she was feeling better.

"I'm alright, and thank you. If it weren't for you, I might not be here right now."

Yae Sakura nodded and replied gratefully, She had noticed that her injuries had completely healed.

Drav smiled and introduced himself, "You're welcome. By the way, my name is Drav Itsuki. And what's your name?"

Yae Sakura replied with a smile, "My name is Yae Sakura. Nice to meet you, Itsuki-kun."

Drav felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that his guess was right. He had saved Yae Sakura, just as his intuition had told him to.

He asked Yae Sakura, "Do you know of any human settlements around here?"

Drav was relieved to hear that there was a human settlement nearby. It was already night, and he want to sleep even though he doesn't feel tired or sleepy now.

Yae Sakura replied, "Yes, my village is nearby. Follow me, and I'll take you there."

Drav carefully carried Yae Sakura down from the tree and followed her as she led the way to the village. As they walked, Drav couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of the surroundings. The moon was full and bright, casting a gentle glow over the trees and bushes.

As they approached the village, Drav noticed that it was a small community, with houses made of wood and bamboo in Ancient Japanese style. The villagers were quite curious about Drav but they still don't say anything about him because it was Yae Sakura who brought him here.

Still, the scrutinizing eyes toward Drav make him very uncomfortable, as if they saw him as a rare creature in the zoo.

"It seems they are curious about me."

"Of course, after all, it was quite rare for outsiders to come here other than the merchant who comes to do business here. But don't worry about them, I assured you will be safe with me here"

Yae Sakura smiles gently at Drav.

"Is that so?"

Drav nodded in understanding. He knew that remote villages like this one are not often visited by outsiders, and the villagers may be uncomfortable with outsiders like him.

He then tried to ignore the stares and focused on following Yae Sakura. They arrived at a small shrine, which Drav assumed was Yae Sakura's house. She brought him toward the guest room as she leave to ask and tell her father about him.

The room was simple but comfortable, with tatami mats covering the floor and a futon with a warm blanket laid out for him to sleep on. There was also a small table in the corner of the room. He was quite satisfied knowing it was very good for him to have a place to sleep in an unfamiliar place.

5 minutes later, Yae Sakura came back and knocked on the door, Drav allowed her to come in, and as she open the door, Drav noticed her tattered clothes had been changed.

"So, is your father granted me permission to sleep here?"

"No problem, my father already permit you to sleep here."

Yae Sakura said softly, but then with troubled expressions, she continue:

"Though at first, he doesn't want you to sleep here. However, when I told him you are the person who saved me who almost died, he finally allowed it"

"By the way, is this room okay for you?"

"Yes, this is enough. Also, I'll try my best not to cause any trouble then. Thank you for bringing me here, Yae Sakura."

"You're welcome, Drav. If you need anything, just ask me. I'll be happy to help."

With that, Yae Sakura bid him goodnight and left the room, closing the sliding door behind her. Drav lay down on the futon and closed his eyes, still thinking about the recent event happening to him today, it was quite crazy and unbelievable for him as a normal person, but knowing the mysterious ability he had, now he has confidence and felt secure in this universe.

After a few minutes, Drav dozed off and drifted into a deep sleep, eagerly anticipating the adventures that awaited him in this new universe. While he slept, his body underwent a profound transformation as his 'transcendence' power began to work its magic.

As Drav slept, his body underwent a drastic transformation. His hair grew longer, his skin became fairer, and his facial features began to change. Gradually, his pupils turned to his desired bloody red color. His entire body structure underwent a dramatic change, while his 'transcendence' power continued to enhance his strength, speed, and all-around abilities of his whole existence.
