492 492. Full Squad

Luffy finally arrives, but as usual, he doesn't show up without causing any trouble. He is too focused on following Rayleigh's vivre card and doesn't watch his surroundings well. He passes through a war between pirate crews, disturbing the ones who fight and the spectators.

Everyone is angry because he just disturbs their 'sacred' tradition by just walking in the middle of a war with his big backpack. So they start chasing him to give him a lesson. Luffy who was told to not make trouble decided to run and not fight them.

He is excited to meet his crewmates in front of Shakky's bar. They are also excited to see him until they see the big angry crowd behind him. No one even wants to ask what happened because they already know Luffy doesn't know what he did wrong just from the look on his face.

"Well, let's just end this quickly."

*PSHEW* *BOOM*

A massive explosion suddenly hits the angry pirates. It's not the Straw Hats doing though, so even they are confused. They look at where the shot came from and see some familiar faces. 4 Pacifistas and many marine soldiers led by Sentomaru.

[Beep! Beep! Beep! Scanning complete. Detecting all members of Straw Hat Pirates.]

At the mention of Straw Hat Pirates, all the angry pirates suddenly get silent and their jaws drop in shock.

"Ah, it's you."

"Straw Hat Pirates, you're really here. Time to finish what we left 2 years ago. I will capture all of you here."

"Tsk, what kind of timing is this? How can they appear when Luffy arrives? They didn't show up at all these few days and now they suddenly know we are here."

"Also, he said it as if he gets information that we are here. Does someone report it to them? But why now of all times? We didn't even try to hide these last few days."

Nami and Robin are speculating that someone has reported them. But the timing is strange because it looks like the informant waited for them to gather completely. The Marines also seem stupid now because they didn't know the Straw Hats were already here for days and only waited for Luffy.

"You better go now or they'll send more people and stop you from going to New World."

Rayleigh suddenly tells them to go quickly and they know he is right. So they move quickly and Luffy has a short talk with Rayleigh that makes the old man tears up a little. They have placed their stuff on the ship already, so they can leave immediately.

The crew runs to their ship and the marines chase them. Rayleigh sends a slash attack in front of the Marines to stop them, but Sentomaru and the Pacifistas have gotten away, so the Straw Hats need to handle it themselves.

"What do you think, Shakky?"

"About what?"

"About this coincidence?"

"Fufufu, there js no coincidence. It must be Buggy-chan's doing. He has eyes and ears everywhere, so even if Monkey-chan tried to hide his arrival, it would be found out by Buggy-chan easily even if he's not here. There is no way the Marines would miss such a rowdy crew without any interference. So Buggy-chan's men must've hidden the information about them and only revealed it after Monkey-chan arrived."

"Isn't that too exaggerated?"

"You think so? I think that isn't even his full plan. We are talking about Buggy-chan here. He would do the most ridiculous things just for fun."

As Shakky has guessed, it is all Buggy's plan to make the Marines chase the Straw Hats after Luffy arrives. Things have changed a bit from how they were in the series. So Buggy decided to do something about it so as to not make things bland in Straw Hats' reunion.

He actually has some more interesting ideas, but his crewmates opposed them. Well, it was mostly Mantis who opposed them and the others couldn't oppose her. So Buggy can only do this plan which is not too fun, but decent enough to play around with the kids.

The Pacifistas are fast and catch them up in a short time. 4 Pacifistas shoot light beams at the same time toward the Straw Hats. They almost get hit, but they manage to get away with some helping the others.

Leo grabs his sister, Franky grabs Robin, Zoro grabs Chopper and Usopp, Sanji fails to save the ladies, and Luffy just jumps away alone. The 4 main fighters then tell the others to go first and prepare the ship while they'll stop the Pacifistas.

Zoro and Sanji move first to attack the 2 Pacifistas in the front. They move swiftly and easily to destroy the Pacifistas. Zoro cuts PX-7's body, while Sanji breaks PX-5's neck. Their attacks made the 2 Pacifistas explode.

""I got it first.""

Both of them are still competing and quarreling even in this situation. When that happens, Leo flies over them with fire shooting out of his feet. He lands on PX-3's big head and puts his hands on it before releasing fire from his hands.

Leo releases a big amount of fire and creates a big fireball that engulfs the cyborg completely with it. The fire is so bright that it makes everyone there close their eyes. Leo puts it off soon and then everyone can see that what's left from PX-3 is just a hot red human-shaped metal.

"To be able to withstand that level of heat, it is made of good metals. But my fire managed to burn all the electrical circuits that it didn't even explode."

*BOOM*

Suddenly, Leo hears an explosion and sees that Luffy has finished the last Pacifista by punching it to the ground from above. The impact caused by his punch dents the ground deeply and breaks the cyborg's machines, so it explodes.

Sentomaru who is left behind is surprised by what he sees. The Straw Hats have become much stronger than he thought, and he realizes that except for Leo, the other 3 are using haki. Leo didn't use it, but Sentomaru knew that there was no way he couldn't use it when the other 3 could use haki.

"Alright, let's go."

The 4 of them run as fast as they can to their ship after destroying the Pacifistas. They don't want to fight Sentomaru because they know this guy is strong. Besides, if they stay here for too long, an Admiral might come again, like 2 years ago.

Sentomaru tries to chase them, but they are too fast. No, it's actually him who is too slow. So he calls the other marine units and tells them where the Straw Hats are going so that they can block them even if it's nearly impossible.

Well, it really is impossible for those Marine units to stop them even though they are led by some Rear Admirals. It's especially harder for them when another pirate crew is stopping them. They are stopped by a former Warlord of the Sea, Boa Hancock, and her Kuja Pirates.

Yeah, Hancock is a former Warlord now even though the Warlord system hasn't been demolished like in the series after Levely. She was the one who resigned from that position herself some months ago, so she is a wanted pirate again now.

The Marines have chased her crew a few times already. However, the Marine doesn't dare to attack Kuja Pirates' base, Amazon Lily. It's because now the Kuja Pirates are parts of Clown Pirates' fleet.

Well, they have been allies for a few years already actually. Hancock has become Buggy's informant inside the 7 Warlords after he erased the mark of Celestial Dragon on her and her sister's backs. He told her that he would remove the Celestial Dragons from this world.

So she decided to join his force now that he had done it. She knew that joining Buggy's force would give her more freedom than being a Warlord and it is actually safer for her people if they follow Buggy now. After all, the Clown Pirates are the strongest of all forces in the world right now.

Anyway, Kuja Pirates' interference makes the Marines unable to do anything to the Straw Hat Pirates. Sanji is really jealous when he knows that Luffy was sent to Maiden Island while he was to Fake Maiden Island.

But there's nothing he can do now other than weeping. Besides, he would get killed if he was sent to Amazon Lily because he is very lecherous, unlike Luffy, so the women there would kill him. Or at least he would turn into a stone statue, so he won't make it on Amazon Lily anyway.

With Kuja Pirates' help, the Straw Hat Pirates finally can continue their journey. They dive into the sea with their coated ship. Now they can finally go to the last stop before entering the New World, Fishman Island.
