14 Fallen Revenge

Germon felt the pressure mounting as the ticking clock on the wall reminded him that he only had one hour left to complete the image and solve the Morse code. Reina, on the other hand, seemed to be relishing at the moment, taunting the group with her words.

"Look, I said you would regret taking a break and now my revenge will be complete and you all suffer, especially you beige midi hair girl," Reina snickered as she pointed a finger at Ashya, who was trapped inside a cage.

"We don't need your concern, and the game isn't over yet, bitch," Ashya fired back, her voice laced with anger.

Reina shrugged off, "Whatever! You midi hair."

Ignoring the group's taunts, Germon spoke up, "Can you show me all the remaining images in the circle at the same time?"

Reina chuckled, "Hahaha! Looks like you really have a losing plan."

Jon interjected, "So can you give us two minutes for that or not? It probably won't be that much of a problem for you."

Reina scoffed, "Why would I do that?"

"Oh! You're afraid you'll lose," Jon taunted.

Frustrated, Reina reluctantly gave in and allowed Germon two minutes to examine the remaining images. "Yet it won't come in my way in getting revenge on you all," she muttered under her breath.

"Thanks, Jon," Germon said, expressing his gratitude.

As the group stay silent and Germon examined the images, Reina played the sound one last time and said, "I can see that my revenge will be complete."

The image then appeared in all remaining circles, which were in second, third, and sixth place. Germon watched them carefully, trying to analyze and decipher them.

"The second circle image was of two people at a distance, then the third circle image was of a unit containing lots of tiny particles, and the last was the sixth, a candle reflecting the flame on the wall," Germon said confidently, impressing the group.

Reina scoffed, "Tsk! Never mind! I can still get back in the game. So now Morse code will appear in each circle one by one."

The Morse code first appeared on the second circle, and Germon quickly noted it down, "- - . - . . - ."

Germon, who had a deep understanding of Morse code, confidently answered the codes on the second, third, and sixth circles. "Meter," he said for the second, "Mole, isn't it," for the third, and "Candela" for the sixth. Reina, not pleased with his success, taunted him to choose the dash and dot wisely for the final answer within the forty-five minutes remaining.

"I don't need to be told, I know it," Germon replied with a hint of irritation in his voice. Ashya, who noticed his confidence, said, "Looks like he's back in action."

An option appeared on the screen with seven dots, five dashes, two dots, and one dash. Germon analyzed the previous answers and selected the first option confidently. Reina asked, "What is the last answer?"

Germon replied with ease, "SI units. The meter, mole, kelvin, ampere, candela, kilogram, and second are the basic units or SI units. The way you shown Morse code is SI units."

Reina laughed, "Hahaha! Try it out."

Germon went to the keyboard on the screen and typed in the answer. He noticed that he had one more dot left and used it. Reina continued to laugh, saying, "You all have failed. My revenge is complete and I will annihilate all of you."

Ashya, angered by her taunts, shouted, "Even when I thought you were good, you show why I call you a bitch."

Zhu was not paying attention, but another voice interrupted the tension. "It's enough, Reina. Stop there," the voice said.

Jon recognized the voice and said, "It's been a while, Mr. Zel."

"Jon, my apologies for the trouble caused by my subordinates," Mr. Zel said, diffusing the tension.

Zel then admitted to the group, "The choice she gave you was false. The correct choices were eight dots, five dashes, and three dots, or one dash."

"Oh! I see now," Germon exclaimed.

"Don't worry, you've all passed this stage. You can move on," Zel reassured them.

Jon, curious about Zel's motives, asked, "Why are you helping us?"

Zel responded sternly, "Don't get it wrong, I'm not helping you. I want it to be fair and square. From the next stage, my people will be the host, and they won't trouble all of you."

With that, Zel freed the group from their cage and handed them keys to progress through the stage. As Jon and Ashya emerged from the cage, they ran toward Germon and hugged him tightly.

"You really freaked us out," Jon said, still trying to catch his breath.

Ashya agreed, "Yeah, we thought we were done for."

Germon chuckled, "I planned that, so you and Ashya can agree on the same thing for once."

They all laughed together, enjoying the moment. Kyora also praised Germon for his quick thinking in rescuing the sleeping princess.

As they prepared to move on to the next stage, Germon realized the princess was still asleep, so he lifted her onto his back once again. As they approached the exit of the sixteen compartments, they found a man in a blue waistcoat, his leg chained and unconscious.

"Who is he?" Ashya asked, concerned.

"I don't know," Jon replied, moving closer to the man to examine him.

Meanwhile, in another dimension, Zel had placed Reina in an isolation chamber, warning her that their mission was not to simply eliminate those people and that their leader would not be pleased with her actions.

"You didn't have to go that far, Reina. You know what's at stake here," Zel said to her.

"I don't want to hear anything from you, traitor," Reina retorted.

Zel laughed, "That's why you're there, and I'm here." He left the chamber and made his way to a large hall, where he knelt down and addressed his leader, "As you order, I have put Reina in the isolation chamber, Your Excellency."

Rasya stood in front of the desk, her eyes fixed on the letter she held in her hand. She could feel the weight of responsibility bearing down on her as she read the message. "Rasya, I'm going out somewhere to meet someone until then please take care of the thing while I'm away," she read aloud, trying to make sense of the words.

As she left the desk and made her way through the East Japan Railway Company, she wondered where Chairman Ryochi Sougo had gone. She had heard rumors that he was meeting someone important, but she had no idea who.

In the early morning, Chairman Ryochi Sougo set out to visit Mr. Tarahashi, hoping to catch him before he got too busy with his day. As he arrived at the office, he approached the receptionist and asked to be directed to Mr. Tarahashi's office.

"Excuse me, could you please inform Mr. Tarahashi that Chairman Ryochi Sougo is here to visit him?" he requested.

The receptionist nodded and picked up the phone to make the announcement. However, before she could say a word, Sento Kadokawa appeared from around the corner.

"Good morning, Chairman Sougo," Sento greeted him. "Please follow me, I'll take you to Mr. Tarahashi's office."

Chairman Sougo raised an eyebrow in surprise but decided to follow Sento's lead. They made their way through the bustling office, passing by cubicles and conference rooms until they arrived at Mr. Tarahashi's office.

As they entered the room, Chairman Sougo noticed Mr. Tarahashi sitting in a separate cabin, drinking beer and wearing earpods. He appeared lost in thought, perhaps waiting for his son to return. Chairman Sougo cleared his throat to get Mr. Tarahashi's attention.

Chairman Ryochi Sougo walked into the cabin and approached Mr. Tarahashi. "Do you know anything about Eiji Mikawa?" he asked abruptly. Rongi looked up from his beer and earpods, his expression guarded.

"Why are you interested in him?" Rongi asked, suspicion lacing his words.

Chairman Ryochi shifted in his seat, trying to find the right words. "It's...complicated," he admitted.

Rongi sighed, taking out an earpad and handing it to Chairman Ryochi. "Leave that, have this earpod, and listen," he said, his voice laced with annoyance. Chairman Ryochi hesitated, taking the earpod and placing it in his ear.

As he listened to what Rongi was hearing, his eyes widened in shock. "You were spying on me," he said, his voice rising in frustration.

"Of course! You Sougo's are really sometimes a pain in the ass," Rongi replied, turning his chair to face Chairman Ryochi.

"But when?" Chairman Ryochi asked, his mind racing. Then he remembered. "Oh! That's why you came early yesterday not to visit me because you wanted to spy on me."

Rongi nodded. "Sorry, but I had to do that to know how you are finding the way to save those passengers," he said, his tone softening slightly.

"Tell me, Rongi," Chairman Ryochi said, leaning forward in his chair. "Now that you know the story, can you tell me where I can find Eiji Mikawa?"

Rongi looked at Ryochi for a moment, then turned to Sento. "Would you bring us some tea, please?" he asked.

As Sento bustled out of the room, Ryochi sat back in his chair, waiting for Rongi's response. When Sento returned with the tea, Rongi poured a cup for Ryochi and one for himself.

"Before we start talking, why don't you freshen yourself with some tea?" Rongi suggested.

Ryochi took a sip of the tea and repeated his question. "So, where is Eiji Mikawa?"

Rongi looked thoughtful for a moment. "Why are you asking about him?" he asked.

Ryochi leaned forward again. "Some pages are missing from the diary," he explained. "And I suspect that the remaining page is with Eiji Mikawa. He and his father were very close friends."

Rongi nodded slowly. "If that's the case," he said, "then come with me. I think I have an idea."

They both stood up and left the Tarahashi Company, heading out into the busy streets of Tokyo.

Germon quickly freed the hostage who had been bound by the blue waistcoat. Jon began to shake the man's head vigorously to rouse him from his unconsciousness. When the man regained his senses, he looked up to see five individuals in front of him. His eyes were only able to see the three girls standing there, and he exclaimed, "Looks like I'm dreaming about a harem situation again."

Kyora whispered in Ashya's ear, "Isn't he speaking like a pervert?" But Ashya replied calmly, "Don't worry, just stay close to me."

Germon bent down to ask the man, "Are you okay, Mr. Suzuki?" As he looked at Germon, he recognized him and said, "Shingo Suzuki, father of Yua Suzuki." He then added, "Oh, Germon, it's been such a long time since we last met."

Germon helped Mr. Suzuki to stand up and asked him, "Can you walk?" Mr. Suzuki replied with a simple "yes." Jon suggested that they leave immediately. "For now, let's get out of here," he said.

As they exited the scene, they welcomed Mr. Suzuki to join their group, and they all headed towards the seventh stage of their mission.
