“We’re leaving, Wynn.”
“Leaving? You mean today?”
“First thing in the morning.”
“But you’re required to give me notice. It’s in the contract.”
“I know, Wynn, but these are special circumstances. Hell, you know how it is. It was a quick decision. When you know what you want to do, why waste time?”
“But your trailer. What’ll you do with that?”
“I’ve been thinking about that—”
“If you want me to, I could sell it for you…for a small commission, that is.”
Dezi nodded his head. “You can do whatever you want to, Wynn. It’s yours. Sell it, rent it out, whatever.”
“You mean you’re just going to get up and leave it?”
“We have no use for it anymore. You deserve it, Wynn. You’ve put up with a lot from us, and I’d like to repay you. So, take the trailer and make a little money with it. Okay?”
Wynn smiled, feeling better. “Well…sure, if that’s what you want.”
