This has got to be one of the best stories I've seen.. I absolutely love how while being ridiculously powerful the character developes in other ways.. Being in the mind of something almost akin to the devil is quite interesting even if the characters originally human.

This is most likely one of the best books I've ever read. Simply said, I just love the atmosphere created by this story. Everything is almost perfect in my opinion. I'm really impressed by how the author describes human feelings. The incredible plot twists are a big plus for this book, but I especially like how each arc is intricately built. For anyone who can't understand how wonderful this book is, I can only pity you.

I really can't understand why this gets so few votes, this is one of the best novels on this site. I like how it isn't all about faceslapping as I love LoHP but it had so much of it that I had to take a break. The store has the plot advantages of the system without gaining the weakness of being obvious and predictable, illogical and not fitting well with the story, overdone wish-fulfillment, excessively bullying the protagonist and making him the but of a dumb joke, and being cliche. I see plenty of connections with a certain story about The Fool which is so popular. All in all a great read and is truly a hidden gem.

Overall the story is really good and one of the few I have actually reread, that being said, the lack of updates for a year now have really killed any hope I had for this novel of actually finishing. I've been tempted to learn chinese just to finish this novel, as it is quite good.

I always prefer a good japanese light novel over any chinese/korean novels. But this one changed my view on chinese novels that they are some absolute gems here also. The main reason I like japanese works is because of the time they put on building the characters. Chinese novels just concentrate on MC and dont even care about female MCs in many cases. Good jap novels have excellent likeable characters who dont leave when the story doesn't need them. And that is what I have found in this novel. Every character is well written. It somehow reminded me of one piece in which also the characters side stories are given importance. This is a must read novel and please recommend me any other novel like this

A good story Translation quality good but it seems there are mistakes in translation or maybe authors mistake, found some inconsistencies in story. And translator also deleted some parts from translation(check chapter 20 from raws and translated version) Translator can you please check it, as this is a good story but if you delete some parts from story, then story flow becomes bad.

A really good novel that is made hard to read by a garbage translation and non-existent editing. Webnovel, the place that destroys novels by not caring about quality.

I like it pretty well. As it goes on the story emphasizes the arcs of the story with mc as a all knowing mastermind. Really liked the way author and translator brings across certain scenes, like when the spirit assumed form to dance with the granny. The casual way mc just pat a shoulder to orchestrate that, really showed off how he got into his role as a deal with the "devil" role.

well after reading this novel until latest chapter, I think I want to write a review. I say, this book is different then the other. while the other didn't mention much about character beside MC, this Novel did. you may thing "what the fck is this for? it isn't as important as the MC",, well I'll tell you, YOU ARE FUKCING WRONG !. side character in this novel is not a fleeting cloud,, nor a wind that passed by. every character is circling around the MC, until he/she died, or maybe for the eternity?. this novel is about someone who playing around with string of fate, once you move it, it'll effect a thousand or more people under the disguise of "businessmen". no need to thanks, just call me red scarf
