"Ready for round 2?"
They heard and immediately knew whose voice it was.
After a few seconds, 2 figures spew out from the smoke as they fought each other while in the air. One is a red haired man and the other is a green skinned woman. They didn't even care that the fire and explosion from their fight troubled the other regulars because it raised the temperature in the arena causing them to sweat buckets.
*Swish*
*Dsh!*

They both exchanged blows upon blows although it seems like they are barely dealing any damage to each other. The red haired fought with obvious skills as he attacks with efficiency while the green skinned fought by either punching, kicking, or using her green needle.
Meanwhile, the 4 who stopped fighting just watched the fight that is happening midair with dumfounded faces. They all agreed to stop fighting and just decided that the team that will win would be decided according to Kai and Anak's fight result. They don't want unnecessary bloodshed afterall. It's much better if they end up in good terms after this game so they can climb the tower with no awkwardness to each other. Although it's probably not the case to those two who is fighting currently.
"Are we really watching 2 regulars fighting in this degree?" Asked Leesoo as he cannot comprehend how can they fight to the level that he only sees on tv. He knows that rankers can fight like this but he would've never thought that mere regulars can.
"Kukurahahaha! That's my underling for you!" Said Rak with pride as he thumped his chest. He didn't expect that the red turtle is actually this strong but he's not gonna complain about it. The stronger his rival is, the better the feeling when the moment that he becomes stronger than him comes.
"I feel betrayed. Looks like that lizard didn't took me seriously when we fought." Hatsu said as he gripped the sword on his waist. Looks like he needs to level up his training if he doesn't want to be looked down on like this. He knows that the lizard is currently fighting much better than when she fought him. He can clearly see it just from the winds that her attacks are creating.
"...He became stronger." Simply said Khun as he just stared at the two who is in the air and is about to land while still exchanging blows with each other.
"Hm?" Sounded Rak as he looked at Khun to explain. The two also looked at their opponent who is now their fellow audience.
"Nothing." He simply said as he ignored them. He can't let them notice Kai's oddness while they are still not allies for even a short time. Well, it can also be said for him but whatever.
'Kai is definitely stronger than when he took on the gator's attacks. That lizard's normal punches should be stronger than the gator's strongest attack...which means that Kai somehow made his body sturdier than before...' thought Khun as he remembered how Kai reacted when he took on Rak's improved strongest attack.
It was just a moment but he actually saw Kai's skin get red from the attack. Which means that he should actually react from the lizard's basic punches because he can feel a more intense strength behind those than the gator's attack. That means Kai easily brushing off the lizard's attacks is because he either got sturdier or he somehow made his skin thicker. Which should be imposs-
'No. I already said that I should remove the word impossible when I'm talking about Kai. It's highly probable that his skin got thicker somehow but if it's Kai, it's also possible that he created some technique or something.' thought Khun as he almost guessed correctly on how Kai was able to actually damage anak a little with his shinsu.
While Khun is still thinking, the fight between Kai and Anak continued as they landed on the ground as the ground beneath them cracked.
"Why do you seem much more irritated, gamora?" Asked Kai as he blocked an uppercut from Anak. He noticed that her attacks seems to have become more reckless and a bit stronger so he asked although he obviously knows that answer to his question.
"First, don't call me that. Second, don't talk to me at all." She said as she round kicked him. Doesn't he understand that he is literally the reason? Every single thing about the him is irritating her to her very core. Anak thought that it should've been obvious enough for even a blockhead like him to understand.
"Aww~ c'mon. Don't be shy. You can even admit your feelings to me if you want to, you know~?" He said with a cheeky smile as Gamora just ignored him and slashed him with her needle as he dodged. Looks like she just decided to ignore his flirty attitude as she decided to focus on bashing his face.
After he dodged, an orb of shinsu appeared above his head as it shot on Anak.
*Slap!*
*Bang!*
To which Anak just slapped away as it crashed on the ground and created a small crater.
Meanwhile, while dodging and sometimes getting hit by her punches, Kai thought a little again. He doesn't want to think about things while fighting but he can't help it since it will become boring soon if they just exchange blows forever.
*Swish!* *Dodge!*
'I need some concentration to do that attack which is something that she is not giving me...'
*Punch!* *Bsh!*
He got uppercut to the chin as his vision turned to the ceiling with the huge floating yellow cube that Leroro is riding on.
'Besides, It will be much harder to hit her with it now that she's aware of it...' he thought. Now that Anak is aware that he has a shinsu technique that can actually defeat her, she will become wary of it and will just easily dodge it since he can't really create that attack instantly.
He literally just learned it minutes ago after all. It's probably possible for him but taking a risky move now that his opponent is being aggressive can be lethal to him. He can only take the risk previously since he is in an advantageous position.
Back to the fight.
*Kick!* *Dodge*
He dodged a back kick to his stomach as he backed away. He then remembered something as he decided to ask it while she is rushing towards him with the needle.
'By the way...'
"Are you a princess?" He asked as he dodged multiple slashes across his body.
"Yeah. So what?" She answered as she was able to hit him with the needle although he endured it easily. It will be inevitably revealed anyway so there's no need to hide it. It may even stop this block head from calling her stupid names since a princess is someone treated with respect in this tower after all.
"So that's why you smell like Yuri...wait, no. Don't look at me like that." He said as he saw her glare at him while her attacks got stronger and faster. Looks like Gamora assumed that he is a pervert. To which he is not by the way...maybe sometimes...
He then blocked a slash to his head with his arms crossed as it actually made his knees shake a little from the impact as the ground he is standing on got web cracks.
*Bang!*
*Crack!*
"That actually hurt a little...anyways, it's not what you think. I just have a good nose so I can't help i-"
He then got cut off as he got hit by her needle on his side.
*Tug!*
"Kuk!"
He gritted his teeth from the pain as he stepped hard on the ground before he spin kick her to the face.
*Doosh!*
She then blocked it easily as she started to think that their fight will go on forever if she did not do 'that'.
'It will be too hard to fight in the last rounds if I waste more stamina here...' she then heard him spoke before a bang appeared infront of him.
"F*ck me. Your attacks are actually starting to hurt, princess." Said Kai as he shot multiple shinsu attacks towards her to which she just let them hit her body. He then backed away as he rubbed his side. Looks like his body is actually starting to hurt from her attacks. It's inevitable since his body is taking her attacks continuously without rest at all. Even a body builder will have a sore muscle if he rep a dumbbell 10 thousand times.
*Bang!*

She then walks towards him casually while ignoring the shinsu attacks that is shot towards her. She will not move as much as possible now so she can preserve her stamina.
Seeing her like this, Kai ignored the pain he is feeling as he spoke with amazement.
"Casually walking towards me while ignoring my shinsu attacks...what a badass you are, princess."
"..."
She ignored his trash praises as she slashed away the last shinsu attack as she stood 2 meters away from him.
They just stared at each other for a few seconds before anak finally decided in her thoughts as she spoke.
"You lose." She said before she raised her needle to the air and spoke as a green creepy energy seems to surround the needle.
"Green april, ignite."
The moment she said those words, all the regulars, including the four who is watching, got goosebumps all over their body as if they felt a dangerous power was unleashed the moment she finished her words.
The other 3 was confused while Khun just stared at the black march that is in their room. He saw that it is vibrating a little as he gets ready on whatever is about to happen. He then looks at the green skinned lizard and hoped that she does not notice it as it would make things complicated.
Meanwhile, Kai who is about to receive her attack was still nonchalant.
"Oh, man. That's not good." Kai said casually before he saw her needle getting longer and much thicker.
Anak then looked towards him as she asked.
"...Any last words?"
"..."
"Deez nuts."
"Die then-"
*WHIIIIIINGGGGG*
Before she could even continue, a siren sounded throughout the arena as Leroro's voice is heard.
"BECAUSE NO ONE SAT ON THE THRONE WITH THE CROWN FOR 10 MINUTES, I HEREBY DECLARE THAT THIS ROUND ENDS WITH NO WINNER!!!"
"Phew." Kai slumped to the ground with every part of his body aching. Looks like taking Gamora's attacks multiple times to the same part is really not a good idea. Especially if it's in those parts where it's easy to get hurt.
Meanwhile, Gamora tsk'd was irritated as it looks like she have to fight this red head idiot in the next round again. She then cancelled her needle's ignition as she just walked away from Kai.
"I WILL GIVE YOU A FEW SECONDS FOR YOU TO DECIDE IF YOU SHOULD ENTER OR NOT! ONCE THOSE SECONDS ARE OVER, I WILL THEN PROCEED TO COUNT TO FIVE TO WAIT FOR 3 TEAMS WHO HAVE DECIDED TO ENTER THE GAME TO PUSH THEIR BUZZERS!!"
Hearing what he said, Khun and Rak ran towards Kai who is lying on the ground as they checked on him...well- more like Khun scolding him and Rak praising him.
"You idiot!!! You know the consequences of fighting in the first round now!? Huh!?" Khun scolded him as he shook his lying body.
"Rahahaha! You did not betrayed my expectations, my rival turtle! Looks like you were much stronger than I thought! I will call you rival turtle now instead of red turtle out of respect! Good job for the promotion!" Praised Rak with a thumbs up as he stands over Kai's de- tired body. Looks like being called a rival turtle by him is some kind of promotion. A promotion that no sane people would care about.
Feeling that his eardrums will explode from his two team mates voices, he covered it with his index fingers as he spoke.
"Stop scolding a warrior who just fought a tiring battle, Khun. And Rak, you've still not seen all that I can do so expect much more from your rival." Kai said as he felt that his body is healing rapidly. The pain and soreness in his body seems to become lesser and lesser as a second passes.
"Stop saying bullshit and think how you would deal with that lizard. Looks like she will ignite her needle again the moment the next round starts. That will be really problematic." He said as he looked towards Leesoo's team. Both Leesoo and Hatsu are talking to her with different expressions as she just sat on the ground ignoring them.
"Hmm...I'll deal with it when the time comes. Let me get all the rest that I can get." He said as he took a nap. Khun just ignored him as he knows that he is right. Kai should get all the rest that he can get so that he can fight even a little bit better in the next round.
After around 30 seconds, Leroro's voice sounded again as all the teams inside the rooms either got ready to press the button or got ready to watch the next round.
"NOW THAT THE SHORT BREAK IS OVER, I WILL NOW START THE COUNTDOWN FOR THE NEXT ROUND! THE FIRST TEAMS TO HAVE THEIR ROOM OPEN WILL BE THE ONES TO JOIN THE NEXT ROUND! NOW THEN, I SHALL BEGIN!"
"ONE!"
Several teams decided to just watch since they don't want to die from the fight of the monsters that is outside.
"TWO!"
Some regulars who are brave enough decided to wait as they want the people outside to get tired as much as possible. They might be brave but they know that the people outside is absolute monsters.
"THREE!"
An individual who is wearing a whole black body tight and a blue mask spoke to her team mates.
"Let's join." she simply said as she pressed the buzzer.
Hearing her, her two team mates nervously agreed.
"Ye-yes!"
"Yes m-mam!"
The two of them was just forced to team with her so they are nervous towards her. They were first running away from her because she's attacking all the regulars she sees. Luckily and unluckily, the test ended and the second test forced them to team up with her so they had no choice. She also threatened them to be her team mate or she will kill them.
"FOUR!"
"Let's go." Said the man covered in blanket.
"Are you sure about this?" Asked the long yellow haired with a huge red horn.
"This will be technically the last battle so it feels much better to enter now and decide it all at once." Explained the man. He knows that all the regulars with significance will want to enter now as they would not want to be lumped with the weaklings. The reason for that is because of those monsters outside that decided to enter the test in the early stages. It will be like a challenge from them and anyone who will not enter the next round will be labeled as one of those insignificant weaklings.
Hearing him, his other team mate spoke.
"...Whatever. Let's just surrender if we ended up facing that red haired or that green skinned girl. I don't wanna die just from a bonus test." Said the woman who contested with Leesoo forcing their way into the shinsu barrier that Leroro made.
"FIVE!"
"Finally get to fight~" said Endorsi as she stretched.
"Umu! Umu! It's finally time to do one of our main goals! I can't wait to be with Kai-chama anymore, nano!!" Said her girl team mate who is still in her cloak. Her voice is as cheerful as ever as she raised both of her hands in a cute manner while speaking.
"Don't be excited too much. Even with our strength, there's still a chance to fail if we are not able to do it right." Said her other team mate. She doesn't know what their goals are nor does she care at all. They can do whatever they want as long as it does not affect her.
"Alright. Let's enter this test, you two." Endorsi said as she stepped outside of their room with the other two. She looked towards the other rooms as she saw the other regulars who decided to enter.
Meanwhile, when Leroro saw in his screen that three teams have entered the arena, he grabbed the microphone and announced...
"NOW THAT 3 TEAMS HAVE ENTERED THE ARENA, LET'S FINALLY START THE SECOND ROUND OF THE GAME, SHALL WE!?"
