Part 13

The tower was full of gossip and rumors these days, specially after the incident 3 years ago in the floor of tests.

The rumors say that 3 years ago, the second floor was attacked by unknown people. All the regulars fainted and were gravely injured. More than half of them have no chance to climb the tower ever again.

Not to mention, the supervising rankers were also seriously injured.

The most mysterious thing is that no one saw the attackers or how they were attacked.

But the most famous rumor is about a team of regulars that appeared right after the attack of the second floor.

"Hey, have you heared that the three monsters arrived in the 20th floor?"

"What?! For real? They are ridiculously fast!"

"As expect from two irregulars and a princess! That's a team for monsters!"

"But that's weird. Usually, irregulars and Zahard don't get along."

"Who cares! It's not our business."

"What's stranger, is that they don't take the tests of the supervisors. They always take the tests of the guardian!"

"Yeah, I heared in the 3rd floor, their test was to recieve an attack of 10% of the power of a ranker! That's insane."

"That's nothing! In the 12 floor their test was to endure a full power attack of a ranker! And in the last floor, the 19th floor, they could already fight evenly with ranker for a short period of time!"

"That's really insane. A regulars test is fighting with a ranker? What's wrong with the guardians?"

"Well, they're called super regulars for a reason. Besides, they arn't the first regulars that can fight with rankers. That slayer candidate, is also a super regular. He can even defeat rankers easily, not to mention just fight them!"

"I agree. But I believe they will reach his level one day."

Right now, the supervisor of the 20th floor was in a dilemma. A while before, three regulars requested to take the test of the guardian. They natuarlly had the right because they have two irregulars in the team.

But that's not the problem.

The problem was the test given by the guardian to these regulars!

An all out fight with a ranker! If they win, they pass. If they lose, they fail.

"what the hell is the guardian thinking? Something is wrong about those three regulars. All their tests untill now have been fighting rankers."

The supervisor stroke his chin while thinking.

Knock! Knock!

Suddenly, knocking sound could be heared from the door.

"Come in."

A man entered the room. He was a tall, slim man. His hair was silver white and sword hang on his waist. It was obvious which clan did he come from.

"The Arie Family?"

The man entered the room, looked at the supervisor and spoke.

"I already talked to the ruler of the floor. I will be taking over this test."

The supervisor was surprised:

"What? Don't you think that's a little unfair? An Arie Family ranker bullying some regulars?"

The Arie Family ranker wasn't angered. He answered coldly:

"They brought it upon themselves. Being arrogant isn't good. Someone has to put them in their places."

Saying that, he walked out of the room heading to the test area.
