Hawthrone High

After all the drama yesterday: Joe and Ethan crying while Hiana and Lily overjoyed while the young lady was just confused, all led them to one thing, Lily's car.

It all started with Everett, who was organizing her things while waiting for Lily to arrive for she was kind enough to drive her to her school while the young lady was waiting she heard a knock on their door, expecting that it was Lily, she moseyed to the door but opening it she saw a man, Joe to be exact.

"Joe...what are you doing here?"

"Can I come in?" Unable to speak, she motioned him to come in, closing the door behind her. She speedily walked into their living room, seeing Joe sitting comfortably on the living floor, she moseyed until she was in front of him.

"Why are you here?"

"I'm coming with you." The young lady stood there dumbfounded, her face looking directly at him, both her hands on her hips while the man who was sitting was looking up to her, his face dead serious.

"What do you mean?"

"I'll just escort you there." Hearing this, Ethan quickly ran through the living room, hugging her legs and saying he'll come as well. His reason: 'I'll escort you there as well.' then her auntie came along, suggesting that she, too should go since she is her niece and that she needed to see the school herself, saying she'll even help the young lady to unpack her things in the dorm but the lady was not persuaded.

"No. Ethan, you are to stay here while Auntie is looking for a job, wasn't that the plan you both told me yesterday, auntie? And you..." Looking over to Joe's direction, she rapidly searched her mind for a reason and she got it.

"You're supposed to be working." The man shook his head, saying his brother was looking for the restaurant for him and that left the young lady to just agree with him coming with them. This cause a disaster throughout the room for her brother wouldn't let her just go without him and he knew that throwing a tantrum will be his best solution.

"Why is he coming while I'm not?!" Everett opened her mouth to reason out but no words came out. The truth is, them coming is not a bad idea, she also wants that but if they're all coming, how can she not cry? When it comes to her loved ones, she's just a pure crybaby and she doesn't want them to know that.

"Because if you'll come the car will be cramped"

"Don't worry, the car I bought is big."

Looking over to her shoulder she saw Lily, she was just there, looking at them, smiling. It was obvious that she found the situation, again, funny. Not minding one bit, the lady that was telling her to change her sentence but she didn't for the woman knew that something like this would happen, just not expecting a random guy to come with them.

"Who's that young man over there?"

"Joe."

"Your boyfriend?" The maiden flushed at her word, shouting no for she had not looked at Joe in that way, Joe, though, liked the word, a lot. His, being her boyfriend was music to his ears, he was flushed but he was not embarrassed, he was happy. The man sprung up to his feet, introduced himself to Lily and they all got in the car.

Lily in the driver's seat while her auntie sat beside Lily and all of them were sitting in the back. Everett on the left, Ethan in the middle, and Joe on the right. That had happened six hours ago.

Currently, they're almost near her school, it was hard to find but when they've arrived in front of the school gate, the girl was just utterly shocked for behind the tall gates she can still catch a glimpse of the school. When they were in they've parked through the parking lot, giving her a full vision of the school from the distance but it wasn't just any school for it looked like a castle!

In front of the parking lot was another tall building and besides the parking lot was another building, exiting the car, amazement shone in the girl's eyes for never has she seen such a school in her entire life.

Both the girl and the little boy were gawking at how big and cool the place was. It was something you can only see in movies, something that both of them adored whenever they get to watch cartoons.

Walking through the school registrar, they were met by a tall woman who's hair was a fiery red with its perfect beach waves. Her make-up was heavy with her loosed shirt exposing her cleavage. She was filing her nails and for some reason, the girl can't help herself but stare for it was way bigger than hers.

"Excuse me. I'm the new transferee from my sophomore year. My name is Everett Heinsberg."

Showing her enrollment form to the woman in which the woman responded with a groan, the lady received a glare from the woman but she moseyed to the girl, roughly taking the paper from her while rolling her eyes.

After a few minutes of waiting, the woman gave her the keys to her dorm, telling her she'll receive her schedule tomorrow however them, being new to the place did not know where the dormitory was so they were left no choice but ask the woman, it pissed the woman nevertheless showed them the direction to the girl's dormitory by pointing the tall building in front the parking lot.

They thanked the woman and head in, her dorm room wasn't that far so they've arrived in just a couple of minutes, opening it they saw a neat small room.

The floor was a maple wooden floor, the walls were pure white along with the ceiling, a huge window with white curtains hanging on the side making the sun's rays lit the darkroom. In front of the huge window was a loft bed with storage underneath it which saved a lot of space, there were little stairs to go up to the bed and the girl thought it was cute.

A little study table on the left side of a room and beside it was a mini-fridge. At the right side of the room was another door, walking up to it she clutched the knob and opened the door, revealing the small bathroom. "It's comfy looking." Lily pronounced, making all of them agree while scanning the room.

"Let me get my things. Ethan just stays here." Joe, Lily, and Everett made their way back to the car, leaving both her auntie and her little brother in the room while walking Joe broke the silence that was lingering them by saying "Rett, don't forget about me okay?"

"How can I forget my one and only friend?" The lady chuckled. When they've arrived there they took the young lady's bags, walking back to her dorm room, they saw the door wide open, giving them a full view of her little brother and auntie gone. Suddenly the bathroom's door opened, showing her auntie who was pulling her shorts up.

"Auntie, where's Ethan?"

"He's in bed..." Her auntie's words were cut short seeing that no was laying on the loft bed. The lady dropped her things on the floor and she speedily searches for the boy in the dormitory but she found no boy, she quickly ran to the outside of the dormitory, Joe on her back.

"I'll search in the parking lot."

Joe announced, she nodded and they've separated their ways. The lady ran into the yard, heading for the school, for it was something that took their attention earlier and since it's new in their eyes the lady thought maybe her little brother's curiosity grew, she ran inside and suddenly it felt as if it became much bigger, making her look like an ant.

The lady didn't know where she was heading but many thoughts ran in her head about her little brother getting into an accident, it scared her making her feet take her to who knows where. Her chest rising up and down as her throat commands for some liquid, tears were forming in her eyes as she hopes nothing bad happens.

The lady ended up by the school's garden, she saw trees surrounding the garden, by now tears were dripping unto the side of her cheeks. How can she be so irresponsible?! Her eyes were scanning the place, her teary vision catch a glimpse of two forms emerging out of the forest, rapidly she ran towards them. Relief washes over her entire form when she saw her little brother, when she was in front of him she collapsed on her knees, checking the little boy's body.

"Why did you leave the room? " Again, tears were pouring out of the girl's eyes as she hugs her little brother in her arms, she pushed the boy off her arms, checking if he was injured for she knew how clumsy the boy could be and she was indeed right for there were scrapes and scratches to the boy's knees, wiping the tears off her eyes, her whole personality quickly changed into a crybaby to a scolding mother.

"Didn't I told you to stay in that room, what would happen if I hadn't found you? Look at your knees...what were you even thinking?!" The boy did not respond, he only looked downwards and so she reaches her hand to the boy's chin, making him look at her, giving her full vision of the boy's puffy eyes.

"Were you crying? Did it hurt a lot? Oh! I'm so sorry Ethan. I was the one at fault, sorry for scolding you. It's okay, I'm here now." Everett heard the boy in her arms, sniff, she felt tears prickle in her clothing, she lifted the boy off the ground, carrying him in her arms, letting the boy feel security as she felt his arms going around her neck. Her eyes widen in shock seeing another figure in front of her.

The maiden forgot that it wasn't just her brother, emerging through the forest, there was another figure, a man to be exact. His face directly staring at her with his pointed chin, his hazel hair was tied into a bun, defining his features more. His narrow eyes were as hazel as his hair, sitting between his honey eyes were his pointed nose while his lips were curled up into a smirk. His height was towering over her, strong chest and abdomen.

The lady's eyes widen as she realized that she was gawking at him, she coughed a little before averting her eyes somewhere else. "Oh! How rude of me. Thank you for finding my brother."

However, the man only responded with silence, not wanting to stay in the situation much longer the lady thanked him once more before leaving. The man continues to watch her back, still carrying the little boy in her arms.

When they got back, her auntie immediately scolded Ethan for worrying all of them, but it was clear in the woman's voice that she was scared. When they all calmed down, Ethan fell asleep on her bed while her auntie and her friend were talking, the maiden sighed while playing with the boy's head, she carefully crawled off the bed and wet outside for some fresh air, the sun was beginning to set which means soon all of them will have to go home, leaving her alone with the unknown place.
