Team member swap

In that scene from another spontaneous flash of memory, she should be in the dining area having her lunch with her family! That's right!

Fan Xifeng with slightly trembling hands type something and send it back to Fan Xiaodan. Her message reads,

"Are you having lunch with our fam?"

In a while, Fan Xifeng received Fan Xiaodan's reply,

"Yes. Lunch tastes great as usual!"

Then the second message,

"So, are you going to join me for dinner later?"

Fan Xifeng shivered. And this time, she is sure of one thing, that the spontaneous flash of memories and a scene were supposed to be what her activity SHOULD be. If maybe she didn't start working at Fan Enterprise earlier. She also trembled after remembering the three major events, three unfortunate events that will possibly occur in the future. One, her grandma's death, two, Han Ziwei's accident, and lastly, her death! And she might be able to do something to prevent them from ever happening!

"Miss Jing? Miss Jing?." Fan Xifeng's thought was awaken from being called out by Supervisor Gu.

"I'm sorry?" She asked confused much seeing that almost everyone's eyes around the table were on her.

"Oh, you must be thinking of something. I'm asking you to join us for dinner tonight. After all, it will serve as our official welcoming party for you!"'

Fan Xifeng smiled and nodded. 'There's no harm being acquainted to my colleagues anyway," Fan Xifeng thought.

"Now since all the important matters were done now I would like to bring up another matter. It concerns about the team member swap."

Low murmuring then filled the entire conference room when Supervisor Gu paused, "I would call the attention of both Miss Cheuk and Miss Jing to ask whether they allow this notion?"

Seeing Cheuk Rongfang nodded her head, Fan Xifeng followed suit, after all, despite being confused, she observe the scene first.

Supervisor Gu proceeded seeing both team leaders agreed, he said, "Alright, Miss Xin Daitai from Team A and Miss Qi Anmei from Team B, please stand up," Both women stood up, Xin Daitai looked shocked knowing what this means, Qi Anmei on the other hand seemed to have expected this and her face looks happy. The people from Team A were shocked as well while the rest from Team B looked... relieved?!

"This should already explain it, Miss Xin Daitai will officially be move to Team B and Miss Qi Anmei will officially be move to Team A."

After the general meeting was adjourned, Fan Xifeng slowly walked out of the conference room, she felt someone bumped on her left shoulder and when she glance, she saw Qi Anmei passing by as if nothing happened.

Fan Xifeng ignored and no longer dwell on the woman's pettiness. "Hey Miss Jing, I apologized for Miss Qi Anmei's behavior. I hope you forgive her this time." Fan Xifeng heard Team A leader Cheuk Rongfang came to her with an apologetic eyes. Fan Xifeng watched the woman and she silently raised an eyebrow, confident that her thick and large glasses would hide it from the woman. "You don't have to bother Team A leader Cheuk. I'm not one to waste my time on irrelevant matters." Fan Xifeng smiled and walked ahead, she paused when she remember someone, her eyes darted towards a rather meek woman named Xin Daitai, "Since Miss Qi Anmei and Miss Xin Daitai were just officially swap, I hope we could give both women time to prepare to settle their things today and will only move by tomorrow."

Cheuk Rongfang nodded her head, "Same thoughts Team B leader Jing."

Fan Xifeng's line of sight once again moved to Xin Daitai, her voice warmer when she said towards her, "Welcome to Team B, Miss Xin. Hope we'll have time to get to know each other later." Xin Daitai seemed to be entrance after Fan Xifeng warmly welcomed her, she smiled and nodded her head towards her new and official team leader.

Fan Xifeng once again nodded her head towards Cheuk Rongfang before going ahead.

After Fan Xifeng left, Cheuk Rongfang's attention turned towards the meek Xin Daitai, "I hope you won't feel bad because of this Daitai," she said softly.

Xin Daitai smiled back as well. "It's alright Team A leader Cheuk. It was great working under you."

Cheuk Rongfang approached Xin Daitai and softly patted her shoulder as if assuring her that everything will be alright before going ahead as well leaving Xin Daitai alone inside the conference room. Nothing could be seen in her expression but suddenly, a sneer quickly passed her lips.

Right after Fan Xifeng sat on her swivel chair inside her cubicle, her thoughts drifted back to another spontaneous flash of memory earlier. Her back straightened when she remembered two similar occurrences. Yesterday, when she accidentally looked at the time, she then received another flash of memory and, it's almost the same thing as earlier when she accidentally looked at the time on her phone!

If her theory is right, then she should only experience those flashes of memories if she only accidentally glance at the time. Fan Xifeng frowned after remembering that those aren't the only instances however for those sudden flash of memories! Like last time when she was on the balcony, she didn't look at the time yet she still received those. Fan Xifeng brainstormed and sometime later, another realization clicked in her thoughts. That's right, she received those memories because she's almost doing the same thing as in that scene (flash of memories), she will first sense the feeling of déjà vu and came, the flash of memory of an upcoming scene!

Fan Xifeng slumped on her swivel chair as she heave a sigh, "Wow, I can't," she muttered in exhaustion. Her thoughts awakened when her phone rings, it's Fan Xiaodan. She accepted the call, "Xiaodan?"

"Were you busy?"

"Yeah, just had a meeting."

"I see. Thought so. So… are you going with me tonight?"

"Ah," Fan Xifeng paused after remembering the dinner with the rest of Research and Department staff, "I'm sorry, I won't be able to make it up with you tonight. Have to attend a welcoming dinner for me by the R&D department and it would be impolite if I turn it down. I'll make it up to you on Saturday, what do you think?"

Fan Xiaodan didn't reply right away and Fan Xifeng could hear her disappointment sigh. "Alright." She finally speaks.

Fan Xifeng smiled softly, "Please check grandma for me. Watched her closely okay? And send my regards to everybody."

"Hmm, see you."

Fan Xifeng "Hmm" back and disconnected the call.

She rested her back for a while before she stood up to get herself a late lunch.
