A piece in the puzzle.

After her heart to heart conversation with her mother and since her and Fan Xiaodan's plan to go out was cancelled, Fan Xifeng returned back to her room.

The information she heard from Su Meixi about Han Ziwei, she must admit, affected with how she viewed Han Ziwei's arrogant image. Although she still held dissatisfaction with the man, his mother, Su Meixi indeed was good at marketing her son to her. Now she's also thinking of giving herself the chance of getting to know the man more

Then she remembered how disappointed she felt back when she was twelve, stressed from studying hard for her final exams only to find out that the gift she especially wrapped for him to only be called tacky by him. 'Why was he so unappreciative back then?!' Fan Xifeng thought, irritated.

It's honestly a good thing that Fan Xiaodan was able to witness this character from that man. Yes, he may have been the best person for his parents but at the end of the day, that's his parents. Parents would always be bias towards their children. Much with how Su Meixi dramatically tells the story, Fan Xifeng could understand a mother would always be like that for her own son.

Her doubt with how Su Meixi described her son doesn't really mean that Fan Xifeng won't give the man the benefit of the doubt. It's true that maybe, he used to be an arrogant man who would even bad-mouth a girl but who knows, maybe that's also a part of him growing. After all, he just turned nineteen that time. Considerably still a teenager. Maybe now that he's in his thirties, because Han Ziwei is almost seven years older than her, he is a changed man. Maybe now he's really mature and turned to become a better man. After all, he is the current CEO of Han Industries.

However, what if it's the very contradictory. The very worst of what she expects from him? What if he turned out to be even more arrogant. What if now, he became an abusive man because after all, he is a CEO and people like him who is above others more often than not, looked down to others.

If so, how could she be happy knowing that the man she will marry is that kind of man?

But, how else would she know it if she won't try to get to know the man more? Right?!

Then Fan Xifeng's thought's drifted from that moment that shook her whole being earlier. About Han Ziwei's supposed return back to Country J after the engagement. From that sudden flash of memory from that dream she heard it from her grandma. In fact she could recall the exact line, "Poor man, he was supposed to return to Country J because of their company's branch extension."

Fan Xifeng closed her eyes and delved deeper in this strange occurrences.

When her mother woke her up from the airplane that time, she was sobbing. As her consciousness returns, so are flashes of memory from that dream she had. It all started at the night of her birthday and engagement party, she wore the Betty La Fea disguise, Su Meixi came to see her and after taking a look at her, she walked out while talking that she disagreed to the engagement. Then the news of Han Ziwei's accident that brought more chaos to the event with Su Meixi's telling her she jinxed her son that he was even involved on a car accident the night of their engagement. Han Ziwei was comatose and Fan Xifeng or any from the Fan wasn't able to visit the man in the hospital because of the awkward relationship between two families.

Fan Xifeng then locked herself on her room for a week, not talking to anyone and her family didn't bother because they were also disappointed at her at the same time until one day, her father asked that she better come out and start to work in their company. Everything seemed easy for her because she was introduced as the Chief's daughter and her job only consist of reviewing papers to be sent to the chief, no position at all, she's just like working as an intern. However this also help Fan Xifeng from forgetting Han Ziwei's situation. The month passed quickly and the atmosphere in the company was quite busy because their stocks are falling, even her grandfather came to a friend's house to ask for help masked by 'to play chess' and her mother returning back to her family to ask for help as well, leaving her grandma alone in the mansion. Fan Xiaodan just arrived then and when she checked their grandma in the master bedroom, she found her lying lifeless on the floor beside the bed.

Fan Xifeng could no longer remember the incidents that happened next, it's like her memory was blocked after that and all she could remember was the exact date of her death from a reason she also could not recall. All she could remember was the helplessness and hopelessness she was feeling as her life slowly leave her body. That's also why she was sobbing in her dream, it's because of those extreme emotions too heavy for heart to bear.

From these analysis, Fan Xifeng is clear of four things: Failed Engagement, Han Ziwei's accident, her grandma's death, and lastly, her own death that still remain a mystery for her.

Fan Xifeng also took some matter into consideration. When something is about to happen, a sudden piece of memory flashed before her, for example, at the airport a memory will flashed that a driver of their grandparents will fetch them and indeed, they were fetched.

However, there was a piece of memory that flashed before her but didn't happen in actual. Example, when they arrived at the mansion, supposed to be, she would go down with her parents to greet their grandparents and didn't actually have time to talk to her grandma alone. However, because of exhaustion from the travel and also from thinking of the strange dream and occurrences, she fell asleep and woke up alone with Fan Xiodan in the car and saw her grandma waiting for her outside.

Having to remember that her grandma died alone on the dream, Fan Xifeng's emotions fluctuated and asked Fan Xiaodan to go ahead first leaving her looking at her grandma's face from inside the car.

Fan Xifeng, despite the bewilderment analyzed and rationalized the strangeness happening to her.

The dream served as a premonition for her. The incidents after just told her that she could either let it happen by not doing anything or she could control and stop it from doing something different. But there's also limitation from what she could control, for example, the driver who fetched them is out of her control. However, her sleeping in the car gave her the time to be alone and talked with her grandma which is not part of the memory from that dream.

Fan Xifeng looked around, that's right, her bedroom is another example of the things beyond her control and exactly looked like from the memory in her dream. Next, when Fan Xiodan came into her room, despite the slight difference in the conversation, the content is almost exactly the same. She asked her to just instead wear that disguise to make Han Ziwei's parents disliked her.

Fan Xifeng paused, 'How could Xiaodan knew of the fact that Su Meixi is obsessed of physical beauty and if she wore it, naturally, Su Meixi would react so strongly even to the extent of not giving the Fan family a face in public and obviously show her disagreement to the said engagement?!'

Exhausted from thinking too much and feeling like urinating, Fan Xifeng systematically walked out of her bed to the room's bathroom. As she turned the knob and opened the bathroom's door, she gasped and trembled strongly.

For the time her eyes saw the bathtub at one corner, a scene flashed before her eyes shocking her very own existence.

Fan Xifeng slumped on the floor just between her bedroom's floor and bathroom floor. The scene she saw..... is her own self, lying lifelessly in the bathtub.

Her left arm was exposed outside the bathtub with dried blood from her slashed wrist...…. and a blade on the floor soaking....... in her own blood.

Fan Xifeng tightly shut her eyes closed. A piece in the puzzle of her own death was put in placed.
