"So how's your vacation squirt?" Jay Garrick asked his daughter who was wearing an oversized full body armor as well as carried a lot of melee weapons in her arms and lots of bags.
"I saw elves!! They were totally pretty! Even the guys too, they were prettier than female models and have very smooth looking skin!" Judy blurred away as he placed all the souvenirs she got into her room while returning beings chased by Bart who liked the girl.
"Really? It seems you had a great time there, now Bart is you responsibility okay? Though we are getting a bit tight on funds on how this fat boy eats." Ray Palmer said as he walked over with a bowl of dog food.
Bart wagged his small tail like a helicopter making a small gust of wind as Judy held the chubby pug.
"Yeah, it was an eye opening experience. A whole world filled with various magical races, there were even dinosaur like beings there too. Kent try this, this is Vodka from that world." Carter said as he sat down and pulled out a bottle making the old guys go to his direction when they heard it was a drink.
"Really?" Dr. Fate was a bit curious as he teleported besides Carter and took a glass. Jay and Ray also got a shot.
"Whoo! That stings, this thing is made really well!" Ray Palmer said as he drank the vodka.
"Dwarves made it, real dwarves that were short yet are talented in brewing and smithing." Diana said as she looked at the corner where Donna can be seen using Reepicheep as a punching bag as he hung upside down with a rope tied on its legs.
"Really? Like the ones in DnD?" Jay Garrick asked making the old men look at him confusedly.
"You don't know DnD? Hang out with your kids if you've got time sheesh." The Flash said as he shrugged his shoulders.
"Anyways it is good we have made good connections with this man, though we cannot call upon him let us hope he'll help us if we are even in a pinch." Kent said but Diana placed a seal in the table.
"He said break this seal and he'll know we need him." Diana said as she seemed glad they have this as one of the souvenirs.
"I am not gonna lie, power wise he is the real deal. It seems he spoke the truth when he said he is fighting the chaos that eats their world. Those things are really nasty, especially the fifteen feet tall rat man." Carter said as he remembered the ugly face of the Vermin Lord.
"Yeah, just yuck…" Judy said as she remembered it too.
"Well I am glad you are all back." Kent said as he felt calm seeing that the future of Judy seemed to have changed from what he had initially seen.
Mark had told him that there might be something that'll take the sidekicks of various heroes away in their silent conversation. And he did take a peek, he found a future where they did not remember who Judy was and that she was never born.
Thus he let her follow in the trip and saw that the future changed drastically ever since they returned. It seems going out of their reality might have made something in fate deviate.
Though he is not sure about the consequences, he'll just have to be prepared to face it once it arrives. That was not all Mark told him but that was for later for him to prepare.
There he sat sipping a drink while caressing the soft fur of the Cat on his lap. Somehow this cat seemed to be very fond of him making him also care for this telekinetic feline.
He looked to the side and there he saw a group of government officials arriving seemingly serious in their HQ making the heroes also look over.
"To what do we owe this pleasure Agent William?" Jay Garrick stepped forward to stop the agents from going further he looked back and saw some cages being brought by the agents.
"This is strictly government business Hero, we are under orders from the white house to secure assets owned by the US government. So please move while we extract the property of the State." Agent Williams looked straight into the eyes of the Flash as he waved his hand to have the others behind him go take the super animals away.
"Whoa there, last I check their owner left them to our care and he is not one bit American nor does these three belong to the US. What are you trying to pull here mister Agent?" Carter stood up in alert as he suddenly has his mace in his arms making the agents closing in stop.
"Do you want to be branded as criminals of the US Hawkman? They are a bunch of experiments that escaped the labs owned by the US government so you are in no position to refuse." Agent Williams sneered as he looked at the heroes with disdain.
"Take them then we will all be your enemies, does the US Government want that?" Diana said as she stood up.
"Yeah, what she said." Carter said as well as he did not like how this Agent came here claiming these three pets were US property. He smells something fishy and he does not know why.
"Property of who!? We are not properties of any government but only that of our master! Who is this ugly man with red hair that looks like a child predator!?" Reepicheep said as he was brought down by Donna from the rope as he felt offended at what this Agent Williams said.
"Hear that? It seems Lil' R here does not remember being your Guinea Pig." Carter said as he glared at this Agent Williams while Jay Garrick and Ray Palmer stood to the sides watching the other agents alertly.
"I am no guinea Pig?! I am a beautiful Capybara as my master said! Can you not see this gains I have ugh! Yeah! Alright!" Reepicheep posed with various angles as he admired his muscles.
"Why you-!" Agent Williams was about to burst until he felt a warm feeling by his foot making him look down.
Bart was there peeing on his leg and just finished, he shook his butt for a moment and blurred away back into his food bowl while the other agents were unsure what to do.
They were just brought here by their superior told to retrieve government property.
"It seems I would have to schedule a meeting with the president soon." Kent said calmly as he kept stroking the cat on his hands, Cookie just purred and silently undid the belts of the agents.
"You will regret this." Agent Williams said as he turned around along with the other agents but they did not walk far when their pants fell in unison.
"Pfft!" Judy tried holding her laughter in while Donna and the tohers chuckled.
"You Like Polka dots I see." Carter said sarcastically as he looked at this Agent Williams, they had been sent in many missions and this group of agents were there to clean up the scene but this was the first time they did something like this.
"It seems some people are thinking of getting these fellas into a dissecting table to experiment with." Ray Palmer said as he looked at the retreating Agents who seemed a bit embarrassed.
"Oh I forgot!" Judy suddenly said and ran back into her room bringing a small box. "Big Bro Mark gave this to me saying to sell these for food funds for the trio."
Inside the box was three beautiful necklaces and a few intricately crafted rings, they were all found by Mark in collections of various crime lords he robbed which can be sold up to 5 million dollars in value which will be enough to feed the trio and the JSA for years.
"Damn, I could pay of my mortgage with these and have a lot left for margaritas." Jay said as he looked at the jewels.
"Yeah, who can sell it though?" Carter asked making Ray Palmer raise his hands.
"I know a guy." Ray said.
[1590 IC, Mousilon]
It has been 40 years since Mark's arrival here in the world of Warhammer Fantasy and many events had happened.
It seems his name has been brought to the mud in the Empire by the three religions who was not able to find a chance to gain an audience with him knowing what their motives are.
There were also calls in Kislev which he only sent Francine to handle while Paris was the one to take care of matters in Mousilon.
They were also given new identities and made himself act as the young Duke making many want to offer their daughters for him to marry.
Also he had spread rumors of the Duke's line not wanting the throne which calmed down a lot of other nobles and his actions of not interfering with the lands of others and expand also made them not make a move.
It was not like he can get the position because he did not go into the need procedures to become a candidate which needs to be a Grail Knight chosen by the lady of the Lake.
Yet Jealousy is always present as many attacks from chaos cultist, ambitious nobles and even from Skaven assassins. But they were all thwarted and Mousillon now stood as the strongest Dukedom within Brettonia.
During 1563 IC he even helped reclaim Tobaro from distant lands having his famous monster fleet rout the skaven that took the place and even found the ancient elf-carved network that riddle the cliffs around it.
His Forest Knights also became revered all throughout the lands as their feats of slayer monsters that pillage small towns and save cities from hidden cultist made his foundation much sturdier.
He has also made trade agreements with Ulthuan as their various products were exchanged with his food and weapons produced as hostilities with the Dark Elves became rampant.
The rest of the Lahmian Vampires were also recalled and turned into Dhampirs from Naggaroth and in Ulthuan expanding the spy network of Mark.
This network he used to have his Forest knights to wander and kill cultist within the Kingdom and the smaller kingdoms down south.
There he got hold of many smaller Border princes in his hands and slowly changed them into people loyal to him.
He also had them preach his religion as well as the Lady of the Lake making the Damsels his closest allies. Though they still have not sent word of the Fay Enchantress wanting to meet him.
He also got a friendly connections in Athel Loren as he sent them gifts like Great Hawk eggs and even some Great Eagle eggs from time to time making him close to the Elves of Vaul's anvil.
It did get him to learn that the current Queen had not done her duty but rather was in deep into her own confines that nobody knew what she was doing.
Mark knew but he also does not have a way to go near her without incurring any great anger from the wood elves.
He had also made Mousillon City into a mega city where around half a million people are present in this bustling city as he expanded his to the sea making a Venice like area.
There he has placed thousands of giant snakes under his control to patrol the waters to prevent any Skaven to use the seas to infiltrate.
He had developed a very sophisticated aqueduct as well that enabled him to direct river water into the canals of Mousilon making it cleaner and no worries for plagues or sickness to develop.
He found every dungeon as well as tunnels that might be a problem and repurposed them into making a large scale recycling system where he developed a compost developing facility that somehow is being targeted by lots of Plague toads.
It did get him to develop a special armor that is meant to protect the wearer form the various pathogens in the creatures of chaos.
His farms were abundant as they produced lots of food that he uses for trade and gaining more money to get more materials.
If it could be said then the whole Dukedom developed exponentially that the average life expectancy of people here got up to 90 years.
Though he had to develop strict immigration laws now since even with all these developments he had a limit to how much he can accept.
The neighboring nobles as well as other fiefs were still targeting his people since they were better farmers and some think they can just kidnap some people and have them work in their lands but it became a serious matter that almost led to war.
It wasn't until the current Royarch, His Majesty Jules, said that this matter be concluded in a calm manner. This King was a bit famous for being able to best a Glade Lord of Athel Loren in a joust at the Tournament of Guyenne during 1578 IC or 600 year in Brettonian calendar.
Mark had a meeting with the disgruntled lords and was able to prove that he has no hand in their peasants leaving their lands. He even did an Uno reverse by showing lots of evidences of their dealings with merchants and their embezzlement of taxes that were supposed to go to the Royal Family.
Mark got off there but he did show his part in making his immigrations laws making many nobles calm down. But he did not dwell into this much as he was making the backyard into a massive futuristic city where he rules.
Most of the usual tribes that he raised here were incorporated into his fief as new citizens including the reformed beastmen that looked like the real people of the forest.
He made rumors about how these old tribes of beastmen untainted by chaos hid in the forest from the darkness that seek to swallow them.
He made sure the people accept these beastmen as they indeed are drastically different from their darker kin. Mark just said that those were just beastmen corrupted by chaos.
Though it also brought a lot of controversies into his lands but no one could dare find fault in the Duke that protects the Old World.
Many had given him this title since he had kept the northern keep in Bearsonling strong and pushing back the forces of chaos.
He had also opened all the 120 Silver Chest and 250 Bronze Chest that he has in his inventory. Though it mostly gave him random stuff he gained 1 A-class Hero contract, 2 A class Beast Contract, 9 B-class Summoning contract, 23 C-class Summoning Contract, 120 D-class summoning contract and about 402 E-class contracts.
There were also random minion rolls numbering about 5000 which gained him lots of random animals and also five hundred plus skeletons that became his additional workforce.
These summons were the ones now inhabiting the Backyard but he still has a part for the gates where his subordinates use to travel. He transferred it all in a new Island which was much more of a bland type of island.
It has nothing much but plains but it became the place where thousands of horses are being kept where Gideon was the herd leader making more sturdy horses for his Forest Knights.
While for the golden chest he has he did not open as of yet, while the summoning contracts he called more of spirit beast that give off spirit rings into his backyard as they will also become his power in the future.
He was left with the A-class Hero contract and the four B-class summoning contract. He is still thinking of who to summon or what so he can make use of.
He has also gained a lot of cultivation manuals but they were inferior to the one he already has. So he just kept them in a library that only his wives can browse, this became the favorite place of Francine as well as Neferata who competed with each other to get stronger seeing that Mark was getting farther.
He had now reached the level 60 Spirit Emperor and has become more attuned to controlling the plant lives all around him.
This gained him the ability to see using the plants thus gained knowledge of people that dared to think ill of his lands.
He goes from time to time every night checking the whole Duchy as well as the Keep in Kislev to ensure no large force or assassin gets through.
This ability made the Oak of Ages yearn for Mark as it felt the darkness within can be cured by Mark. Thus the one using it felt it as well as she was searching for a clue to who killed her sister and the face of Mark just appeared making her think he is a clue.
But that was something for later, Mark had made lots of things ensuring he is busy but deep inside he is totally getting paranoid.
Mark had been thinking for the past few years, how much more does he need to grow to gain enough power to survive on his own but even then he felt it was not enough.
It was not yet enough for him to live without worry, Francine and the others also saw this making them try harder to get stronger because in their minds if there is something that makes their already powerful husband make all of this in a hurry then they too better be strong enough to not burden him.
Even the ambitious Neferata became tame and worked together with them, since she knows more and if there is something that he fears that she too needs to prepare.
Her fear of other things now vanished as she gained courage to face her past fears, he who rules the dead might rise soon and she does not fear him anymore.

(A/N: So this is my 100th chapter and was able to poop out this much even when I am totally busy at school. Can move both my arms now but they are totally uneven. So once I can exercise properly again then I might have to spend a few weeks trying to gain back to lost muscles.
Right now I am also trying to empathize myself on how would I feel if I really am in the shoes of the MC, surely must be confusing for him since there seemed to be lots of powerful beings there that could even take his other self away.
Right now he is in a state of paranoia, he might get calm from time to time but this is not something he can calm down from for now. If you know there are lots of big wigs beyond your reach and do not know how they work or their rules you tend to overthink, over prepare and make mountains out of mole hills.
Right now it is a future full of uncertainties since he knew his arrival made the timeline change, so he is kind of taking it slow. Making sure he has made everything fool proof, prep time if you will, this might get annoying for some but I feel this will be how someone would act if they are facing this much uncertainties even with a System.
These are my thoughts for now since I am totally tired to rant about my professors and the exams I am preparing for. Just wish that I can pass these so I can at least have a few days of respite after trying to finally finish complying all my incomplete subjects.
