6 06 Did I just scam her?

"Yes, they are for sale. But only to those fated, it seems the lady has been called upon today by destiny. Chose the item that speaks to you and if you fancy it then please tell me." Mark was instructed by the system to speak these words as it said that only people that seeks the shop or got attracted by it would then they are able to enter it. Not sure why but Mark didn't ask further.

"Fated you say?" Diana was indeed intrigued as she did feel a call her in this shop, it was a familiar feeling. Like the one she felt when she faced Ares, her Brother. It was the call of War, not sure why she felt it in this small shop but she knew the feeling very clearly.

"I did feel a call, but not with these items. It was just here." Diana said cryptically which made Mark Confused at first then remembered that she was also known as the God of War after killing Ares.

"I see, it seems that it is Fated for you to see this place. But it is not yet time for you to be here." Mark said as the system gave him instructions, it felt said getting other people here is not yet available in the system's functions. This meant Mark would be able to make various heroes from DC and Marvel team up.

His inner child was now screaming at that fact should the system indeed unlock that function. He really would like to see Batman and Nick Fury talk about many things.

"What do you mean?" Diana was confused as she felt something was not right. But Mark kept calm outside as he walked to a cabinet and pulled out a vial containing a weird green gooey substance. He then walked to the counter while Diana thought of what the man had just said to her, she saw him wave at her which made her feel something was not right yet she could not tell what it was.

Mark had this vial from one of the chest he opened and this might really help her if she faces a certain enemy. He wrote the receipt and the description of the vial on a paper as he wrapped this around a cloth to cover it and tied it with a yarn. As soon as Diana was at the counter Mark said.

"That would be a thousand gold coins." Mark said, he was doing this as a mission has pooped up when he was thinking of keeping her as a regular customer.

[Mission Issued]

[Sell something to Diana Prince that would be useful to her]

[Mission requirement]

[Convince Diana Prince that the item is something she can use.]

[Rewards]

[Warrior Summoning Contract: C-class]

[Failure]

[Diana Prince would not seek the shop in the future]

[Time Limit: 1hour]

Mark said those words earlier to make Diana think something was wrong, he gave the subtle message he knew her thus made her have an impression.

"A thousand gold coins? How could I pay that? And I didn't ask to buy this at all? Are you scamming me?" Diana was surprised at the sudden charge of money and to think it was in gold coins. Is this man a lunatic?

"This is something you might need in cases you meet an old acquaintance with somewhat of a cat-like character." Mark smiled as he handed the cloth covered vial as well as the receipt.

"You only need agree and the money would be automatically taken from your account." Mark kept calm as he saw the tensed Diana. Whose eyes were now looking intently at the description of vial, it says 'Concentrated Cat-nip essence: Effective to Feline or Cat-like Metahuman beings, could induce a very strong high to the target with just a small whiff in the air once vial is opened.'

Diana subconsciously tightened her grip as she felt this would help her catch a certain foe she kept in her mind. Minerva did indeed come back again even after Lord had renounced his wish. Now she was not sure how she got her powers back but she was spotted again in Africa. It was something that was troubling her and seeing this vial made her feel this is something that could incapacitate her.

"I accept but how should I pay?" Diana has a hunch this man somehow knows something but she never remembered meeting him or anything. He doesn't resemble any of the men she fought with alongside Steve. This shop too which somehow has small traces of magical energy made her aware of the fact that this might be a site for the mystical practitioners.

"It has already been paid." Mark received a notification that the payment was automatically taken from the vaults of themyscira.

"Really?" Diana was confused, she could pay if she goes back to her home. One thousand gold coins were just a small part of her real wealth. She was then stunned as she was now outside of the place she entered from. She hurriedly looked back and saw the building that she was just in has now disappeared.

She was tense as she never felt anything at all moving her out, even magic would not escape her senses. She looked around and thought that she might be in an illusion but the cloth she is holding says that the small shop was real. She opened it and there it was. The vial, she was not sure of it as she never paid anything but since it was free it wouldn't hurt to try.

She then saw the receipt, it says The Shop of the Fated, but that was not what caught her eyes. It was the words written on the paper that made her realize that place was indeed mysterious.

[Sold to: Diana of Themyscira]

[Item: Kitty-napper]

[Paymen(Cash)t: One thousand Gold coins]

Knowing who she was and even Metahumans meant the man was not so simple after all but the name of the product made her feel it was silly. The pun intended made her chuckle, but she wanted to test it out first. She looked around but soon noticed lots of cats had gathered around the street, she looked at the vial but she couldn't smell anything.

Maybe it also attracts them, she opened it a bit but was soon surprised as the dozens of cats around suddenly went limp as their faces showed content expressions.

"By Hera, that was very effective." Diana closed the bottle immediately and picked some cats in the middle of the road in case they might get run over by some cars.

"Shop of the Fated huh?" Diana wrapped the vial and put it in her pockets as she walked away. This day has been quite interesting for her.

[Back at the Shop]

"Wait? Did I just scam her into buying catnip juice for that amount of gold?" Mark said as realization dawned upon him.

"But holy shit she was so hot!!! System, how was I able to keep calm from that? I know I would ogle her like a deer in headlights normally but I was calm! And very calm!" Mark said in excitement as he met one of his favorite female characters in DC.

[The Shop has a aura that helps the Host conduct Business in a professional manner. It also helps the Host think more clearly in a civil manner, it only happens should a customer shows up.]

[Ding!]

[Mission Complete!]

[Received]

[Warrior Summoning Contract: C-Class]

"So what could I do with this? Is it the same with the Random minion Roll?" Mark asked as he felt he has enough capital to develop in this dark places in Brettonnia. At least that Mad Duke has not yet been born, so the influence of the Vampires in the area is still minimal.

[The Summoning Contract is different from the Minion Roll, the contract could be used to summon a person from beyond the multiverse. It is only limited with it's strength thus Host could only summon someone in the categorization of C-Class.]

"So how am I categorized then? And how does this categorization work?" Mark was walking towards the Backyard as he asked.

[The Host could only be considered and E-Class entity. Ranging from F-Class to S-Class, categorized from the weakest mortals up to the strongest Gods. Each is divided to three tiers like -E-Class, E-Class and +E-Class.]

[E-Class(from Minus to Plus E-Class)= Normal Mortals that could be compared with a normal citizens or an epsilon mutant, a healthy Person and an Athletic Person.]

[D-Class=Mortals with that has basic training in battles from normal Thugs, Normal Soldier or Martial Artist and a Veteran Soldier.]

[C-Class=Mortals who has reached great lengths in their lives in their profession, could be threats that could harm a town. Comparable to a Expert Martial Arts Master or a beta-level Mutant, a Expert Marksman or Assassin and a Super Soldier.]

[B-Class=beings who has lethality or potential that could harm a small city. Ranging from the best Beta-level Mutants, to Iron Patriot Level or Hawkman and up to a Green Lantern]

[A-Class= beings who could have talents or means to endanger a country like even the weakest Alpha-Level Mutant, Aquaman or Abomination.]

[S-Class=These are beings that could be categorized as world changing beings, such as Apocalypse or Thor, Hulk and even Iron Man or Batman.]
