3 Part Two Of The First Challenge And The Meeting With Izzy

Suddenly, Izzy's expression seemed to turn a couple degrees more insane as she replied to Heather, "Silly, of course we jumped." she said, her tone one of someone explaining something simple to a child who didn't understand a rather simple thing.

Heather opened her mouth in preparation to respond, before her voice seemingly got stuck, realizing she had no response. She spent another few seconds to try to formulate a rebuttal, before eventually giving up and just settling on sending them a suspicious glare.

Aoife ignored her, just trying to reign in his currently broiling hormones. Izzy seemed to notice this as a teasing smile flitted across her face fast enough that neither Heather nor Aoife noticed, as she walked over toward him before sitting down a little too closely to him.

Aoife shuddered, giving Izzy a glare that seemed to tell her of his future retribution. Izzy smiled in return, the predatory look returning to her eyes, as she gave him a rather salacious look in return before resting her head on his shoulder.

Heather, who was currently watching them, seemed almost amused by the by-play between the two. In her own head, Heather was wondering if Aoife was the reason Izzy had agreed to switch teams with Katie.

This was all the time she had to think about this matter, before the members from their team began to jump down from the mountain one by one.

Soon, everyone had jumped down from the cliff except Beth, giving their team a one-player lead.

Everyone was washed ashore by the wave created by Owen slamming into the water, launching everyone onto shore in various states of disarray.

Thus began the second half of the competition.

With the one-man advantage that the Screaming Gophers had accumulated, they got carts to help carry the heavy boxes along the path back to camp, making the process a veritable breeze.

Reaching the camp within only about five minutes, the group wasted no time as they began the process of building their hot tub.

With their previous win, the group found themselves in a far better mood than the other team was. This increased their ability to work together in unison, making their progress move exponentially faster.

Not wishing to stand out, Aoife stuck to hammering in nails for the hot tub instead of helping with the building process, not wanting to show his skill at design.

When they were about halfway through completing their pool, the other team finally arrived. Seeing their group having already completed so much of their hot tub, as well as feeling constrained by the time-limit, the already dispirited Killer Bass seemed even further sapped of their energy.

The group spent about as much time fighting as they did building, so while Aoife and his team had managed to finish a rather nice hot tub within the allotted time, the other team had built what could only be described as a catastrophe.

Upon Chris touching the Killer Bass' pool, it fell apart, awarding the Screaming Gophers the win.

Amidst the celebration of the Screaming Gophers and the silent depression of the Killer Bass, Chris announced that the Killer Bass would have to meet him at the fire place to vote someone off.

It was at this point that Aoife noticed the look Izzy was giving him; understanding her intentions, Aoife gave a nod of understanding before he began to leave, leading the way to the clearing he had found.

His other teammates, Heather included, didn't notice their disappearance as they were too busy enjoying their newly gotten hot tub.

It only took about six minutes of walking for both Izzy and Aoife to reach the clearing.

Upon reaching the clearing, Izzy tackled Aoife from behind, bringing him to the ground. Turning whilst falling, Aoife reached up to grab Izzy by her neck, but this only seemed to cause the look within Izzy's eyes to become even more approving.

Upon hitting the ground, Izzy leaned forward before planting her lips upon his, beginning the start of a wild make-out session.

~~10 Minutes Later~~

Panting for breath, both Izzy and Aoife were splayed out on the ground, exhaustion clear upon their figures; they had, after all, just finished a ten-minute make-out session.

Sitting up, Aoife leaned on his palms as he turned to Izzy with an expectant gaze, asking, "What was that about?" This only had the effect of Izzy rolling her eyes at him, with a look that said 'really', still, she opened her mouth to reply.

"Please, don't play this pretend game with me. This is what both me and you wanted, you can't act as if you didn't feel that almost animalistic connection between us back on that yacht!" Izzy stated, feeling slightly excited just at the memory of the event.

Aoife gave a sigh, before he seemed to reach an agreement with himself, before he gave a simple nod of acceptance.

Still, Aoife knew that he had much to set up before the night became too late for him to go about his business.

So, getting up, he got to work. Grabbing the three left-over sticks that he had picked up that morning, he began the process of creating something. Dropping the pile of sticks next to him, Aoife began to use a smaller stick to dig two holes about 4 feet from each other.

Once the holes were complete, Aoife then grabbed one of his sticks before beginning to drill a hole near one of the ends of it.

Testing to see if the hole was big enough, he grabbed one of the two other sticks before seeing if it would fit. Aoife felt a little pride at the stick easily sliding in, yet the hole not being too loose that the other stick could easily fall out.

(Bonus points for whoever can figure out what he's making.)

Grabbing the stick that had the hole in it after removing the other stick from it, Aoife placed the end that didn't have the hole on it into one of his two previously created holes before covering the still exposed space with dirt until the stick could no longer easily move around.

Grabbing the third stick, Aoife repeated the process he had done with the first one before placing it into the other hole and filling the excess space with dirt. Grabbing the third stick, Aoife slid it through the side of one stick and out the other.

Throughout this whole process, Izzy watched on curiously.

Aoife nodded to himself feeling that his project had probably worked, still, he had to be sure. Jumping up, Aoife grabbed the stick, seeing if it could carry his weight. After dangling for a few seconds, Aoife nodded before he began to lift himself up, beginning to do pull-ups on his newly created pull-up bar.

(A/N: Don't apply normal world logic to this fic, the MC is gonna be a big guy with a nice calisthenics build. And the amount of time that it will take for him to build muscle will be far shorter than it would in real life, especially for someone of his size.)

After completing five pull-ups, Aoife hopped down, turning to give Izzy a look of triumph. Giving him a consoling look, Izzy hopped up, grabbing the bar and beginning to do pull-ups. Aoife was shocked, Izzy had completed at least 30 pull-ups without showing any sign of strain.

Yet, instead of jealousy, Aoife had a proud look on his face. As if her accomplishments were his own.

Aoife shook his head, this was still not all he had to do today. Giving Izzy's exposed behind a smack that caused a jolt to go through her, Aoife grabbed his spear before heading out. He headed toward a stream he had seen during his exploration, one filled with tons of fish.

Reaching the side of the slow-flowing stream, Aoife grabbed his spear about 1 inch from the end, preparing to stab out at the fish in the water. As he waited patiently, Aoife couldn't help but remember when his father had taught him to spearfish, his eyes shining with raw emotion.

Shaking off the memory, Aoife waited patiently before he struck, his spear sailing through the air before stabbing into the water, piercing through a rather large Brook Trout, well, large for a stream one anyway.

The Trout was about five pounds in weight and about 15 inches in size. His eyes shining, Aoife put the fish out of its misery with a spear strike to the brain, not wanting the fish to suffer.

Aoife would spend another ten minutes to hunt two more fish, one another trout of around the same size, and the other a rather average Walleye that was about 21 inches in length, weighing a little less than four pounds.

Deciding to stop there for the day, Aoife checked his traps for any catches along the way. He found that he'd caught a squirrel as well as a rather large raccoon. Not forgetting to reset his traps, Aoife headed back to his clearing. Aoife wasn't surprised to find Izzy still waiting for him within the clearing, as he headed over to her.

Grabbing a log that was on the edge of the clearing, Aoife dragged it over. He began to start a fire, placing his fish as well as the squirrel and raccoon over it. Waiting for them to cook, he didn't forget to ask Izzy if she wanted some. Her eyes shining, Izzy gave an answer in the affirmative, choosing to take the smaller Walleye as well as the squirrel.

Aoife could feel the enjoyment Izzy got from another hunting for food for her, not only from her feeling of contentment, but also from the rather passionate kiss she had given him.

Staring into the sky, Aoife couldn't help but feel content. This was what he had come here for, not for the competition nor for the money, but instead for the experience and freedom.

Giving Izzy a look, Aoife tried to figure out why she felt so familiar, as well as why she seemed to know him as well. All he got in return for his efforts was a flash of a memory from long ago, as well as a massive migraine.

Giving up, Aoife decided to just be happy with the companionship she brought along with her presence. Giving her a loving look, Aoife wondered if he were maybe moving too fast.

Shaking his head, Aoife thought, 'No, this is just our speed.'

This was the last thought Aoife had, falling asleep hunched over on his log with Izzy resting on his shoulder.

A/N: Hello, I'd just like to clarify that I will be removing as well as adding some new competitions, and I will be increasing the amount of time that the group is on the island for. I just feel that 8 weeks is kind of short for a survivor-style competition, so I'll be increasing it to about 4 months.
