Chapter 9: The "Vibility"

Jahruno: M-Mrs. Hieri???

Mrs. Hieri: Yes, it's me.

They hug each other for a moment.

Jahruno: I was so scared...

Mrs. Hieri: It's okay, I understand. I just wanted to see you one last time before you left.

Jahruno: I'm just happy you're safe.

Mrs. Hieri: But enough about me, train your hardest, okay? We believe in you.

Jahruno: *Smiles* I will.

Returning from the bathroom, Mariya comes back to the sight of Jahruno talking with Mrs. Hieri, Felisha, and Dionte. Felisha and Mariya look at each other in surprise.

Mariya: Felisha?

Felisha: Mariya?

They excitedly sprint towards each other and firmly hug.

Mariya: It's been so long! I've missed you!

Felisha: I missed you too!

Mariya: And Bell too??? Get over here!

Mrs. Hieri, now known as Bell, runs over to form a group hug.

Dionte: Wait, mom, that's Mariya? The girl you've helped since high school?

Bell: Yes!

Jahruno: Mariya told me about how "Bell" helped her out throughout all of her school life. I didn't know that was you!

Bell: Hehe, life is full of surprises!

Felisha: Hold on, Mariya, how do you know Jahruno?

Mariya: I'm his girlfriend!

Felisha: What!?

Dionte: Ohhh you must be the 911 operator he told me about.

Jahruno: That's right, everyone, she's mine!

Bell: Well, that's amazing, Jahruno!

Felisha: Hehe, yeah...

Jahruno: It was nice catching up! I learned some new things about everyone!

Dionte: You think you're ready?

Jahruno:  Heh, I know I'm ready.

Felisha: Let your nuts hang, man!

Jahruno: I will!

Bell: Good luck!

Jahruno: Thanks!

Mariya walks up to Jahruno and kisses him directly on his lips. He returns the kiss.

Mariya: Do your best, okay?

Jahruno: I always do, Mariya. I love you.

Mariya: I love you too.

Jahruno: And for you, Dionte and Bell, good luck with the funeral, you guys will always have my support.

Bell: Thank you so much.

Jahruno: No problem.

He shakes Dionte and Felsha's hands one last time.

Jahruno hops inside his car. He waves at everyone with a smile as he drives away. His journey has officially begun.

Mariya: It was nice talking with you all. I have to get to work soon so I'll see you around. Let's get together again, okay?

Bell: Of course!

Felisha: Nice seeing you too!

Dionte: Later!

Mariya leaves the apartment complex and the group walks back home.

Felisha: Oh man, this is bad.

Bell: What's wrong?

Felisha: I kinda... had a crush on Jahruno...

Dionte: What!?

Bell: Oh my...

Felisha: I know, it's bad... At least he's with Mariya.

Dionte: I guess...

Felisha: It's okay, though. *Smiles* I'm happy for them!

Bell: Well that's good!

Dionte: Yeah! (Thinking) I know damn well she isn't happy.

Meanwhile, in Loubouton's underground palace, he calls everyone to the lobby.

Loubouton: Everyone, everyone! I got some important news!

Some people already hanging out in the lobby stand up and turn their attention towards Loubouton. Others can be seen coming out of doors and walking downstairs.

Eventually, all of Dolche's gang and the Guelfos are standing in front of Loubouton.

Loubouton: Recently, I just got word that Jahruno has finally headed south to train, which means we can prepare for the invasion one week from now on April Fools!

*Applause*

Loubouton lifts up a briefcase that was sitting beside him.

Loubouton: As you all know, there are people in this world with supernatural abilities. Dolche's gang, Grand Ainsworth, came into contact with one of those special people earlier this week.

Dolche: Yeah, you still haven't explained how that's possible.

Loubouton: I was actually getting to that. What you all encountered was someone with a "Vibility".

Ravenno: A what?

Loubouton: Basically, a Vibility is a special ability that is gained from the phenomenal strength of a living being's spirit. It is believed that certain gods read the strength of an individual's spirit and granted them the ability to gain a Vibility. The Vibility you actually get is whatever the soul comes up with. If your spirit is strong for multiple feelings, you could gain multiple Vibilities.

Dolche: Jeez, that's a lot...

Ravenno: So, do you have a Vibility?

Loubouton: *Smiles* 2, actually!

Ravenno: Well, what are they?

Loubouton: You'll see on the day of the invasion!

Dolche: Wait a minute, what's the briefcase for?

Loubouton: I'm so glad you asked!

He opens the briefcase and reveals 16 syringes with dark red fluid in it.

Loubouton: Along with the discovery of these Vibilities, people have been trying to come up with ways to mimic their power. Many have failed and poor people have suffered because of the fakes. That was until I, Loubouton Rucci, perfected the formula last week.

Dolche: No way.

Ravenno: Any proof?

Loubouton: Proof? I got a whole video!

*Click*

Loubouton grabbed the remote and turned on the T.V. A video featuring him and an unknown woman in a bedroom began to play.

Loubouton (Video): Ass up, bitch. Lemme show you why they call me "Chunky Lou".

Woman (Video): Ay papi...

Dolche: Man, what the fuck???

*CLICK!*

Loubouton: Shit! Uhh, wrong video...

The whole room stares at Loubouton in disgust.

Loubouton: Oh, come on! *Pause* Alright, whatever, this is the real video.

This video features him and the same woman but they're in an empty, white room. Loubouton in the video holds up a syringe to the camera.

Loubouton (Video): Y'all seeing this shit? This is the moment of truth. I think this is going to be the first official Artificial Vibility. You ready, babe?

Woman (Video): Yeah.

In the video, Loubouton walks over to the woman and injects her with the Artificial. He steps back for a moment.

*RIP!* *SCREECH!*

The woman ripped out of her clothes and transformed into a giant falcon.

Loubouton (Video): Goddamn! Look at that!

Loubouton, in the video, grabbed the camera and recorded the woman, who is now a falcon, flying around the room.

Everyone in the lobby watched in awe as the falcon woman flew around.

Soon, the falcon woman landed back on the floor and reverted to her normal form. She was naked because her clothes ripped during her transformation.

Loubouton (Video): H-How do you feel?

Woman (Video): I'm butt naked but I feel fine!

He looked back at the camera and smiled.

Loubouton (Video): That's how you do it, motherfuckers!

*Click*

Loubouton pauses the video.

Dolche: Woah!

Ravenno: Hold on a second, how do we know she didn't have a Vibility before this?

Loubouton: Pay attention to how her body changes.

He compared her body to the start of the video, to the end.

Loubouton: Look at her arms.

He began to show slideshows of random peoples pictures before they gained a Vibility compared to them actually using their Vibility.

Loubouton: People with Vibilities always have well-toned bodies. Even with bigger people, most of their muscles are still visible in most areas. The fact they even have a Vibility gives them a significant boost in all attributes such as strength, speed, durability, agility, etc.

Ravenno: You got me there, I'll give you that. But what about the woman in the video?

Loubouton: Good question.

The woman from the video walks out from behind a pillar and makes her way towards Loubouton.

Loubouton: Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like you all to meet Kassandra!

Kassandra: *Smiles* Hello, everyone.

Half of Dolche's gang blushed and waved

Half Of The Gang: Hiiii Kassandra...

She gave them back a friendly smile.

Loubouton: Slow down, guys! *Chuckles* You almost saw me fuck her on camera!

Dolche: Right... So are we all getting abilities?

Loubouton: Pshh! Duh! Come on, guys!

Everyone follows behind Loubouton as he leads them through a doorway. The group walks down a dark, spiral staircase.

Dolche: Jeez, where are you taking us?

Loubouton: Don't worry, you'll recognize it.

Circle after circle, they finally see a light. They keep walking and they enter the same large, empty, white room from the video.

Dolche: Woah! It's the same room!

Loubouton: Haha, yep. *Points* Look over there. It's even the same claw mark that Kassandra made.

Dolche: Cool!

They walk a little further into the room.

Loubouton: Is this everyone?

Everybody looks around.

Ravenno: Yeah.

Loubouton: Good. Guelfos! Grand Ainsworth! Get into separate, single-file lines!

Dolche stands in front of the line with his gang and Ravenno stands in front of the line with the Guelfos.

Loubouton reopens the briefcase of syringes.

Loubouton: I will now call you all up one by one to get injected! Starting with the Guelfos! Ravenno, you're up!

Ravenno walks up to Loubouton. Loubouton pulls out a syringe and injects the liquid into Ravenno's arm.

Loubouton: Romulus! You're next!

Ravenno clears the way for the second Guelfo. Loubouton injects Romulus. Those who got injected begin to move towards the wall on Loubouton's right side.

Loubouton: Francis!

The third Guelfo, Francis, walks up to get injected.

Loubouton: John!

The fourth in the group gets injected.

Loubouton: Pius!

The final Guelfo gets injected and joins the rest of his team.

There was a pause for a few seconds...

*FWOOM!*

All of the Guelfos auras exploded vigorously. They were all different colors but Ravenno, who's aura was purple, shined the brightest. He also seemed to be holding sharp, purple stakes.

Everyone in Dolche's gang stared at the mesmerizing auras.

Loubouton: Alright! It's your turn, Grand Ainsworth! You're up first, Dolche!

Dolche: I can't wait!

He gets injected and walks towards the wall on Loubouton's left.

Loubouton: Mike!

Mike walks up to get his injection and joins Dolche.

Loubouton: Addie!

She gets her injection.

Loubouton: Tommy!

Tommy gets his injection but stands beside Loubouton.

Loubouton: Mizuno!

Mizuno nervously walks up.

Loubouton: You... doin' okay?

Mizuno: Y-Yeah...

Loubouton: Okay...

Loubouton lifts up the syringe and inches towards Mizuno.

Mizuno: AH!

Tommy: Oh no, we're not doing this shit today!

Mizuno: You know I'm afraid of needles!

Tommy: Don't mind him. Just hurry.

Tommy holds Mizuno in place.

Mizuno: Wait! There has to be another way!

Loubouton: Yeah... Keep screaming...

Mizuno: AHHHHH!!!

*Inject*

Mizuno: Ahh...?

Loubouton: See, wasn't so bad, was it?

Mizuno: Uh... Thanks...

Tommy: You dickhead.

The two join Dolche.

Loubouton: Alright, Jordan, you're next!

Jordan walks up to get his injection.

Loubouton: ReRe!

ReRe: Fuck yeah...

She walks up to Loubouton, blushing.

ReRe: Come on... Penetrate me...

Loubouton: Dude...

ReRe: Yes yes yes yes yes yes.

Loubouton stares in disappointment as he moves the needle closer to her arm.

*Inject*

ReRe: Ah! Yesss!

Loubouton: O-Okay...

ReRe excitedly hops over to her group.

Loubouton: Jeez... Casio! Your turn!

Casio gets his injection.

Loubouton: Lotto!

Lotto: Can I do it myself, please?

Loubouton: Uhh, yeah, go for it.

Loubouton hands him the syringe and he pulls his belt off. He ties the belt around his arm slowly injects himself. Lotto hands him back the empty syringe and joins the gang.

Loubouton: Uh... Nevermind... Diadora!

She walks up to get her injection.

Loubouton: And last, but not least, Yonex!

Yonex: I'm so excited! Hit me, Loubouton!

Loubouton: Alright!

*Inject*

Yonex cartwheels over to his group.

Loubouton closes the briefcase.

Loubouton: I think that's everyone!

*FWOOM!*

Everyone in Grand Ainsworth's aura erupts. A wide variety of colors but Dolche, who's aura was neon green, stood out the most. Dolche also seemed to obtain gauntlets of green magma.

Loubouton: Listen up, everyone! You have a week to get used to your new abilities in this room! I want you to do your best!

Dolche: Yes, sir!

Ravenno: You can count on us!

The image of Dolche and Ravenno along with the aura of several people behind them was enough to send chills down someone's spine.

Loubouton: Y'all ready to do this shit!?

Everyone: Yeah!!!

Loubouton: Haha! This team is perfect!
