1. SUNSET

Markus felt like his brain was melting, it took him a while to regain steady vision, he was hanging upside down with blood flowing down through his hands, he looked to his left and saw his wife Liliya in the same situation as him, lucky she was not bleeding from the first look. the car's bonnet was fuming dark smoke and he could smell gas leaking, he tried to calm down and did the self-diagnosis. it was a habit he developed after he crossed 32. he attended some short courses about injury prevention and diagnosis in the latter half of his football career to not get injured even before the game begins and have an understanding of his own fitness.

He felt pain in his upper stomach. he ripped his t-shirt to take a closer look. he saw something pierced through his stomach. he tried to unlock the seat belt but it was jammed. Markus felt despair covering his mind and strength leaving his body. he closed his eyes, he was dying, he knew it. it was then he heard Liliya groaning due to pain he was jolted awake his mind cleared and strength returned. he felt unusual calm despite the increasing pain Markus reached for his phone and called 911 and informed of their car accident and requested assistance. Markus tried to wake his wife but it was futile. then the smoke coming from the front of the car increased. Markus felt time slowing down and his thoughts getting faster. he took the water bottle and splashed it into Liliya's face finally waking her up.

Markus tried to call her but she was not fully awake then he reached for her seat belt and unlocked it causing her to fall. by then the car the bonnet started to burn slowly. "Liliya get out through the door and move away from the car" Markus shouted. Liliya was fully awake at that point. she saw menus bleeding and a metal piece sticking out his stomach. Liliya started crying and tried to unlock his seatbelt but Markus stopped her " it's stuck " he told her but she continued her tries " ARE YOU DUMB I TOLD YOU IT'S STUCK " Liliya was stunned for a second and started crying even more. Markus felt his world spinning " WOMEN STOP CRYING AND GET OUT OF THE CAR " he shouted. Liliya shook her head continued her tries. Markus felt like vomiting blood when he saw her ignoring his words. " GET OUT OF THE CAR AND CALL 911 YOU DUMB B****". after hearing Markus shout she meekly got out through the car window and started calling for help.

Markus sighed in relief when he saw her getting out. he felt hungry for some reason and was losing strength. he heard an ambulance siren from distance. he looked out through the window and saw the sun slowly setting. Markus suddenly felt peace. suddenly he heard a loud noise and then a scream then nothing, absolute silence.

something was tapping on his cheek he felt annoyed and just turned around and continued his sleep. then a sudden pain in his left butt cheek woke him up. Markus was startled and cursed "the fuck ?". in reply he heard a roar " WHAT DID YOU JUST SAID !!" and boom he felt his butt was on the grill he turned around and saw his dad well a younger version of his dad . he stared blankly for a second then he heard a voice from outside " honey, what was that noise ?". he ran out through the door with all his strength but tripped on a blanket and fell headfirst into the ground. " get back here" his dad yelled from behind. but he didn't care Markus sprung up from the floor and dashed out of through the door and saw his mother standing there wearing an apron. "mom ?" Markus called. " OH MY GOD, why are you bleeding mark ? ". then he felt the world becoming pitch black.

when he opened his eyes he felt a splitting headache and memory of his car crash rushed in . he looked around but didn't find Liliya . just as she was about to panic two nurses came in . when she saw Markus woke up and looking around she walked up to him and said " hey buddy, are you feeling any pain ?"

. "a little headache but no other pain" Markus replied in a serious tone . "oh my " the attending nurse exclaimed. the other nurse giggled and said "we'll call your parents and doctor in a minute " then walked out of the room .

when Markus saw his mother came in he was shocked. just as he was to ask her why she wasn't dead she him and asked " is your head hurting mark ?" . "no" he replied meekly. "it's just a small wound. he might have been scared when he saw blood and fainted" the doctor said. he turned and asked William his father " do you want to do a scan just to make sure ?" . " yeah, let's do that" Willam replyed. then the doctor told Martha his mother to step outside as they were going to move him to the scanning room.

he was alone again in that room. he looks at his small arms. Markus knew he came back in time to the past where he was only 12 years old .

'DING' suddenly a window popped in front of him . 'SYSTEM BINDING SUCCESFUL'. 'SCANNING HOST' ...., SCAN COMPLETE. 'SOCCER HAS BEEN DETECTED AS THE MAIN JOB' .
