120 Chapter 120: Issho Is Holding Back Against Luffy?!

"Hey, Senior Luffy, get around that guy!" Bartolomeo shouted.

"You're here, Straw Hat Luffy." Issho turned to look at Luffy and said.

"I'm going to punch you, rubber gun!!!"

Luffy yelled, then wrapped his right arm around Haki, turned into a huge form and slammed towards Issho.

"ding!!!"

Issho drew the blade and blocked Luffy's blow with ease.

"Lululululu Senior Luffy! The opponent is the highest combat power in Naval Headquarters, Marine Admiral!!!"

Bartolomeo who saw this scene were dumbfounded.

He didn't expect Luffy to be so tough, and directly confronted the admiral head-on!

"I don't want to wait until someday in the future to defeat you, why should I have to run away if you are Admiral? This kind of plot ended two years ago!!!" Luffy shouted.

"Luffy!" Zoro smiled gratifiedly.

"I'm going to do my best, Uncle Gambling!" Luffy said in second gear.

"Okay, I'm serious about arresting you too, wake up!" Issho said seriously.

"I'm going to beat you away!!!"

Luffy charged directly at Issho, and they started the battle.

For a while, the fight was inextricably linked.

'Fujitora literally couldn't go serious even if he wanted to. He's got one of the most AOE destructive powers in the series. Kuzan and Sakazuki needed a deserted island for their fight, and it completely wrecked the entire island forever. When Whitebeard used a serious attack, he split Marineford. He also was causing tsunamis and storms islands away.

Fujitora casually lifted all of the rubble of Dressrosa. This includes the massive Pica, and many many building/rocks. This didn't strain him. He used Fierce Tiger to destroy one of Dressrosa massive mountains while lifting all of that.

He can't even use his meteors because as we saw, they leave massive craters. They can even split apart before arriving, so the chance of innocents getting hurt is further increased. As he mentioned when Birdcage was up, the meteors are likely to get people hurt.

If Fujitora were serious about capturing Luffy, he wouldn't have tried to leave it up to fate for if he should catch a pirate. For three days, and potentially manipulating the dice to get the outcome he wanted (don't remember the evidence, but everyone everywhere believes he did). Especially when Luffy has just gotten done saving Dressrosa from a Warlord, which he wanted him to do in the first place. Smoker even told him that Luffy did the same thing at Alabasta.'

'You nailed it with the die. Fujitora is based on Zatoichi, who is well-known for his ability to cheat in games of chance, rolling the dice whenever he wants them to come out and calling out anyone who try to trick him, despite being blind.'

'Zatoichi decimates samurai and yakuza squads because they continue to harass a guy/girl who has been polite to him. If Fujitora follows suit and quits working for bad people to live a life dedicated to helping others repent for their past, I'd be all for it.'

'Absolutely not. Fujitora could have solo'd everyone on Dressrosa, minus Sabo, if he wanted to.'

'I think Fujitora still beats Sabo personally. Imo admirals have like 30-40% chance of beating yonko's, given they don't have to protect anything.'

'Oh you're right!!!'

'I think you guys might be sleeping on Sabo; the guy is the #2 of the Revolutionary army and their top fighter, second only to Dragon himself. That alone gives us an idea of his strength but nothing definite. The following point however, expounds some more.

The Revolutionary Army goal is to overthrow the Celestial Dragons which is the same as wanting to take down the World Government and the Navy since they'd all come to their defense anyway. This means fighting the 3 Admirals. Lets get crazy and assume that Dragon is so OP wild strong that he could take 2 Admirals alone and win (lets just imagine), that would still leave 1 Admiral and if he didn't have somebody capable of taking that Admiral down then they pretty much lost.

The Admirals are so strong that no matter how many people you have you'd lose faced with just one of them, Dragon has to know that so he has to have people strong enough besides himself to take them on. If that's not the case then declaring war on the World Government like they did during the Reverie would be suicide. And a man who created and planned the Revolutionary Army for over 10yrs sounds anything but careless.'

'Fair. But remember the admirals are the #2s of the Marines which, according to Doffy, is the organization that dominates the world. Like I said above, IMO the admirals have shown Haki and Devil fruit feats which put them very close to the yonko level, and given that Sabo is equivalent to a yonko 1st commander, I don't think he really has a chance. I do think Sabo is stronger than Katakuri, but I don't think he's admiral level. Issho also has much more experience and has likely had his DF much longer than Sabo has had his.

Also remember there were only 2 admirals at Reverie, and the Revolutionary Army had Sabo, as well as the other 4 commanders, and they still lost, albeit injuring Fujitora and presumably Ryokugyu too.'

'Sabo was already the #2 of the Revolutionary Army before he got his fruit. Not after. So the Mera-Mera no mi is merely a bonus to a guy who's base strength was already only second to Dragon. On top of that he got a crazy fruit. You shouldn't overlook that.

If your point is true then would you say that Dragon is headed towards his death by declaring war against the World Government then? Because if Sabo isn't strong enough to heat an admiral than nobody is besides may Dragon. So is he just headed knowingly towards an inevitable defeat then?'

'Call me crazy but I don't think the Revolutionary Army can directly beat the marines. No matter how strong Dragon and Sabo are they would be up against Akainu, Kizaru, Fujitora, Ryokugyu, Sengoku, Garp, Tsuru, and many commendable vice admirals. Because of this, the Revolutionary Army is obviously going to have to take an indirect route rather than fighting head on. I stand by my claim that Sabo can't 1v1 an admiral and win, regardless of how well he may do.'
