94 Chapter 88.2 : I AM IRON MAN!!!

Thanos let out an agonized scream as he felt his strength steadily increasing. He knew that if he didn't take action, he'd be torn to shreds.

In a desperate move, he had no choice but to issue orders to Corvus Glaive.

"Barrage attack!" In the next moment, hundreds of naval guns appeared on the massive Sanctuary II, launching high-energy energy bombs indiscriminately onto the battlefield.

Despite the loss of thousands of Black Order soldiers, Thanos succeeded in his plan.

Wanda was thrown away by the explosion's aftermath, successfully escaping from Thanos' grasp. Off-screen, Thanos wore a gloomy expression.

This was the first time in countless years of battle that he had been defeated, and it was by a woman. However, he wasn't concerned about that, but rather the increasing difficulty of collecting the Infinity Gems.

The high-energy bombs rained down relentlessly, creating a tragic battlefield with body parts scattered everywhere. At some point, the Infinity Gauntlet had been passed to Spider-Man, but he too was hit by an energy bomb and fell to the ground.

Sixteen-year-old Peter Parker lay on the ground helplessly, clutching his head, but then, the bombardment suddenly ceased.

Everyone looked up to see all the cannons aimed at the sky, ready to fire. In the next moment, a brilliant golden light streaked through the explosions, disregarding the high-energy bombs and hurtling towards Sanctuary II.

A violent and stunning explosion followed.

The enormous space battleship, which had battled for over a century in the universe, crumbled like paper.

Captain Marvel, in double-star mode, had transformed into a human missile, constantly piercing through the spaceship. In less than ten seconds, Sanctuary II was completely obliterated, and only burning debris fell into the lake below.

Nick Fury of SHIELD smiled. Whenever he saw Carol, it was still as awe-inspiring as ever.

In Asgard, Thor gazed at Odin and asked cautiously, "Father, are all the beings in Midgard so formidable?"

Odin pondered for a moment and replied, "There's also a more formidable bald-headed old woman. At your current level, it's best to be respectful in Midgard. If you ever encounter her, show courtesy."

Thor smirked, realizing that he still had room for growth.

On the ground, Peter Parker, looking weak and helpless, was suddenly surrounded by a group of supporters and foes.

The battle resumed, with both sides charging once more.

Corvus Glaive, who had bravely followed Thanos in countless battles, might have been feeling unwell or had poor luck that day. Or perhaps, the various buffs from the Wakanda Black Female Guard Leader were too overwhelming.

In any case, he was fatally struck by the leader's spear. The other soldiers of the Black Order couldn't stop this group of formidable women.

Carol clutched her gloves tightly and soared through the Quantum Realm in the van, as if she were in uncharted territory. Time was running out, and she couldn't afford to stop.

Thanos decisively hurled his blade, shattering a small vehicle. A blast of bluish mist-like energy followed. Carol, resembling a god descended to Earth, was instantly blown away. Her Infinity Stone-encrusted glove tumbled to the ground.

Thanos made a beeline for the gloves. Iron Man, Thor, and the Avengers struggled to block him but were utterly powerless. In Asgard, Thor finally identified the issue.

"Your future self isn't defeated because of obesity. His new weakness is obsession."

The disparity between the two sides was evident, but Thor dared to decapitate Thanos. It was a foolish act; targeting the opponent's leg would have been wiser. Losing face would have been even more impactful. Facing the next three lanes would have been a fatal blow, making Thanos exceedingly uncomfortable.

In Sanctuary II, Thanos inexplicably felt a chill below his crotch, sending shivers down his spine. He re-armed himself with the six Infinity Stones and unleashed a rainbow-like surge of energy, his face beaming with excitement, poised to snap his fingers.

In an instant, a golden blur materialized next to Thanos and firmly grasped his hand.

"The finger snap stops!"

Thanos, now furious, attempted to subdue Carol, but the opposite proved true. Carol gradually rose to her feet and surpassed him in strength. Thanos headbutted her, but it felt like striking humanoid alloy, leaving him disoriented.

Carol swiftly ascended, pressing Thanos to the ground. He knelt, unable to move, and the countermeasure was complete.

On a distant planet, Carol smiled confidently. Thanos before her was no match, and her success was because she was not on Earth.

In a luxurious restroom, Deadpool rose without a care and exclaimed in agony, "Pull out a pair of gloves, and you confidently challenge me to a duel!"

Carol's smile froze as she saw Thanos, who had awakened, use his other hand to manipulate the Power Stone. In Thanos' painful cry, a punch infused with purple energy struck Carol. In her binary star mode, she was sent flying, the distance unknown.

Tony, bloodied but resolute, got up and witnessed Doctor Strange making a familiar gesture. In that moment, he seemed to comprehend.

Meanwhile, Thanos reinserted the gem into his gauntlet, and the rainbow-like energy surged again. This time, Tony rushed forward and reached for the glove. Thanos, with a look of disdain, struck him, sending Tony flying with a single punch.

Thanos was elated, with a confident smile on his face. His long-held dream was finally within reach.

And at this moment, no one could stop him.

This time, he intended to bring about the end of the world.

Intense panic gripped everyone on the battlefield, the shadow of death looming over their heads like an abyss. As they gazed upon the terrified humans, Thanos wore a satisfied yet cruel expression. He slowly raised his right hand and made his final declaration to the world:

"I am destiny!"

*Snap!*

Countless worlds' spectators were stunned, unable to fathom the instant destruction of the universe.

But in the next second, what did he look like?

[A sharp sound rang out, but there was no release of energy!]

[Thanos was suddenly shocked; he turned his hand over and noticed that the glove had no gems!]

[At that moment, a sense of dread overcame Thanos as he looked up, and his eyes widened in surprise!]

[The mortal who had been kicked away and was hiding in the iron pot glared at him coldly!]

[In the opponent's hand, the six Infinity Gems floated and returned!]

[In an instant, the energy of the six colorful Gems resembled flowing plasma, steadily corroding Tony's body.]

Indescribable excruciating pain washed over him; Tony felt his very soul being gradually annihilated!]

[But the agony that made Banner scream did not elicit a single sound from Tony.]

[Tony only gasped and fixed a frigid gaze upon Thanos.]

[At this moment, there was no fear of death in his heart.]

[He knew the time had come for him to do more!]

[In this moment, Tony Stark seemed to recall the image of himself forging steel in the cave, with the crisp sound of his work echoing in his ears.]

"I am not fate," Tony Stark gasped, peering into those terror-filled eyes, and declared with immense determination:

"I am Iron Man!"

[As he spoke, the snap of his fingers reverberated like thunder through everyone's hearts!]
