There is nothing much I can say about Rio, to be honest.

I was not much of a game guy, I was barely a qualified Otaku and would mostly just watch whatever was popular with the YouTubers at that time. And damn was Rio popular.

Of all the characters that I have heard from games, Rio is the most memorable. Her name was one thing, but her appearance was the main point.

Just looking at her made me feel like I should just abandon all these complex schemes and take her out this instant.

Her silky black hair flowed and melded well with her dress black jacket. Her white turtle neck highlighted her pretty face, emphasizing her red lips and crimson eyes. Further down was her short black skirt and pantyhose. The black silk had a sparkle to it and I could easily spot her handgun strapped to her thigh. Were it not for keeping up appearances and dignity, I would have already used some substitution jujitsu by now.

Rio looked a bit dazed and distracted as she should have been, she was currently having a ton of information being stuffed into her brain and the simple fact that the information was all about a different world with completely different mechanisms was enough to confuse anyone.

It was already something that she had yet to break down at this point. That's Tsukatsuki Rio for you.

Her record was impressive and her ambitions more so. That was why I chose to start with her. It had nothing to do with the 'special' pictures that were on Pinterest and other special sites.

Her personality was also another thing I was counting on. She was just as perfect as my first summon.

"Are you going to stand like that for a whole day?"

"Pardon me… my lord. The situation is somewhat overwhelming."

"My Lord? You adapt fast, don't you?"

"Is it to your despise?"

"No, you are one weird girl. Tell me, what do you think about your current situation?"

"If my lord permits it…"

"Stop. Speak normally. Freely. Just because I outrank you does not make me some… guy with a Eiffel Tower up his arse."

"Pfft…"

"Oh, so you can laugh?!"

"Forgive me. I just find it amusing for some reason. Don't know why."

"It must be the collective subconscious mindscape working."

"What?"

"Don't worry about it. Just tell me about your thoughts about this peculiar situation you found yourself in."

"I was just thinking that there might be a possibility that something similar happened to the president, but it seems unlikely. I can't explain it scientifically but it clearly happened to me, so there is that."

"Mnh, You are the first person I've summoned as you already know. As for your world and Kivotos, I suggest you forget about it."

"What do you mean? I have seen that there is a possibility of going back."

"Yeah, there is that, but you'd need a ton of points to go back. I don't think it's worth it."

Rio fell into deep thought for a moment.

The system I created was unfair and just the hold it had on people was too messy. As much as I gave them all free will, there was a price to pay for it.

Rio for instance had a deep feeling for her school and her life's goal was to protect the place, but now she was here in a completely different reality.

It was one thing if there was no hope of returning, but there was and it was right in front of her but she could not afford it.

"How do I earn these points? You created this system, can't you bypass it or something?"

"Rio, for someone as realistic as you, you sure have a wishful mind. Why on earth would I bring you here just to send you back?

As for points, there are two ways; Contribute to the organization, Or get them from me through your ingenuity."

I looked at the contemplative girl in front of me and I had to say that she had many assets to get those points. The problem was time. How long would it take just to accumulate enough for a trip?

"Rio, don't think too much into it for now. I have already slowed time for your reality to an absurd level. Even if you stayed by my side for a thousand years, only a second would have passed for your world. You can take your time thinking things over."

"Yes, my lord. Is there any particular task you have for me?"

"No, nothing at the moment. I something comes up, you will get a mission posted on your HUD."

"Then I'll take my leave and start with cleaning."

"Do you even know how to do it?"

"I can learn my lord. With the talents you've bestowed, I should manage just fine."

"…"

Does this girl know just how big this place is? Even if she were to use magic, it'd still take some time to clean the whole place and make it ready for reopening.

'Let's just summon some maids first to help her out.'

Rio got herself busy but it seemed like burying herself in work was not working as well as usually does.

There were also the capabilities that her brain seemed to have been given that forced her to think through her issues.

No matter how busy she got, it seemed like her brain had an extra thread or processor idle, forcing her to face her situation.

Kivotos… was Kivotos and she was comfortable there no matter how messed up the place was. Then there was this.

How was someone supposed to handle being summoned to another world? It was fine if that was all, but the capabilities that Zak had shown her were something beyond the realm of Science.

As an engineer herself, Rio had to say the existence of magic was fascinating and opened doors to infinite possibilities.

Science had the potential, but humans just didn't have the lifespan to use it. Better yet, they were still too fragile.

The memories she had received showed people capable of leveling city blocks with a single sword strike. They could levitate, teleport, and fly through the air with practiced ease. It was, surreal.

This would have gotten her excited and ready to dive into research, aiming to uncover all its secrets, but that was impossible.

Setting aside the Experience Pack that held the memories of those girls from Shadow Garden, Zak had given her a Template that automatically made her an authority in the field.

The things that should have shocked her surprised her instead. She was surprised at how inefficient the use of magic was in this world.

The guy who seemed to know what he was doing was only good at brute forcing his way through… everything. His control was indeed commendable, but where was the technique, where was the finesse?

All Rio got from watching Cid was the feeling that he was a genius, a genius at the junior high school level and she was at her PhD in Magic.

"There goes my chance to have fun."

The other point was that Zak gave her skills and abilities that made her helpless.

Imagine getting a million dollars from an unknown source. It was still okay if you did not care about your life and have no attachments, otherwise… that was how she felt.

It was like getting hit by a brick of gold falling from the sky. It was difficult to say if you were lucky or unlucky.

Her competence aside, who makes others gods just because?

From what she had gathered, Zenither was a god of Commerce, Merchants, and Nobles, yet she was given such power even before they met. And you're telling me that such a person would let her be if she was unwilling to serve him? She was not that stupid yet.

What was the point of summoning her if she did not serve him? It was a point that disturbed her greatly.

She could not understand his motives no matter how hard she thought about it. It was better to just be obedient and stay in her lane.

The abilities she had received were testament to just how much Zak was expecting from her and she did not plan to disappoint. Her dreams depended on it.

And if the things she had seen were anything to go by, working for him was the best way to secure Kivotos.

Zak's powers aside, just the things that she could buy using points were insane. If she could afford it, Rio was sure that she could get stupidly powerful. Maybe as powerful as Zak?

Zak did not know about Rio's wishful thinking. It was not that it was impossible, it was just that the more powerful his subordinates got, the more powerful he became too. It was like a more broken version of Rimuru's food chain. It was just that his version encompassed everything to the Quantum Level.

Any improvements whatsoever would be fed back to him eventually and he would integrate it into the Nexus and make the whole system more broken. It was a vicious cycle that ensured that once someone was under him, they'd never have a chance of rising above him.

As for standing on equal ground, that depended on his mood and favorability.
