Chapter 1:

They said, it's a man's world. Being ambitious.

But i am too, being a woman doesn't stop me for achieving what i want.

Ever since i was a child, i want to be on top. I run for the highest position in high school but failed because a president council should be a guy, and im a girl i can't handle it, they said. I was so angry, so angry about people mindset. Im smart, im good at whatever situation. I want to soar so much so when i graduated cum laude fo my post college i took the entrance examination for law. I didn't tell my family, i just did and when i passed and told them im enrolled.

My parents got mad, the want me to run our company but business is not my cup of tea.

I don't really know what i want, law school is something new and challenging so i tried. Maybe i can finally find myself in this profession.

I told my mom, im going to try and i promised them if after a semester i failed. I will finally work. She agreed, thinking i will soon get bored like i used to.

But i know myself, i know this time. I won't.

"C'mon Alex, tell me some advice." I accidentally saw him here in the book store. And when i said accidentally, i mean it. Of course he won't believe me, this guy is full of himself sometimes.

He sighed.

"Study" he simply said and then he turned his back on me. His hobby, always avoiding me. Tsk, tsk.

and of course being who i am, im not gonna let him leave.

"Tell me, who's book i should buy? for crim and oblicon?"

"Jurado for crim, De leon for oblicon" He walked passed by me. Scanning every books as if he's interested to all of it, but i know Creed Alexander. He' s doing this on purpose.

I took the book of De leon and Jurado. They were big and heavy, which i didn't expect. They were thick but i didn't think they could be heavy like this.

"Creed!" suddenly someone called his name. I saw a group of guys walking towards us. my eyes automatically focused on the white paper girl that is smiling hugely while looking at Creed. And i think she's also the one who called him 'Creed'

My Creed Alexander system told me that this one is a competitor.

"Hey" They greeted each other. Looks like they're Creed's mate. The others left but the paper girl didn't. She keeps on asking things, she keeps on blabbering and i remain standing at creed side rolling my eyes back and forth.

I felt my hands getting numb and back stiffed so i lean on the bookshelves put my feet apart. Sideways.

Creed looked at me without any expression, his stares landed at my books. To my surprise he took my books and carry it. My mouth parted, the paper girl look shocked.

Then he started walking towards the counter. I tailed him, can't believe he did that. I blushed and smiled, C'mon Creed, i know you care. The years of stalking you paid huh? not much but still a progress.
