Pedals?

Izuku stared at the board, not bothering to take notes. He had been feeling depressed lately, and he couldn't assign a reason. Expertly, he could, but he refused to believe it was because of him. Izuku sighed and dragged his nails against the cover of his notebook. 'Number 13, huh. Maybe it's a coresidence. I definitely didn't want to focus on him again.'

Izuku looked up, starring down Katsuki's back. Bakugo continued to write down the notes, not caring about the eyes upon him. The blonde was used to it. He was used to being praised and worshiped because of his quirk, so it was no wonder that people wanted to stare. Katsuki smirked to himself as he completed the notes he was scribbling.

Izuku looked out the window to his left, watching the spring cherry blossoms fall. 'Huh, maybe even more coincidences. I wonder if Kacchan nonetheless believes in the magic of Cherry blossoms. I guess it never hurts to try.' Izuku shifted in his seat, inspecting the room to make sure people weren't starting. It's not like anyone had a mind-reading quirk.

'I wish Kacchan and I could rekindle our relationship. Like how we used to be before Kacchan got his quirk. I know he doesn't demand me to die, and I'm just a person for him to take his rage out on. He needed to abandon me from being a hero and launching the world that I can. I'll have to die before he admits that, though.'

Izuku sat in his room, his anxious and intrusive thoughts running through his head. It was a usual nightly deed. As soon as class ended, his happy facade cleared, and his anxious self emerged from the smoke. Izuku hugged his pillow that happened to be resting in his lap. Izuku nuzzled into the top, trying to avoid leaning into the intrusive side of his thoughts.

A knock rang through the room like a pin dropping in a study hall classroom. Izuku shot darts at the door, not wanting to move from his pleasant position. Izuku pulled himself from his warm, cozy sheets to answer the door. Izuku looked at the person in front of him with an amused face.

"We need to talk. Now."

------------------------------------

Katsuki sat in the living room, engaging in a game on his phone. As people finished eating dinner, they began filing into the room. Bakugo snuggled into the edge of the couch, not wanting to be touched by anyone else. Kirishima sat by his side and tried to place his arm around the ladder's shoulders.

Katsuki practically hissed and swatted Kirishima off him. Eijrou sighed and went to sit with Denki and Sero; Kaminari greeted Kirishima and set his head against the ladders chest, enjoying the affection. Sero chuckled and put his hand on Denki's thigh.

Ochaco entered the room and gathered most of the student's attention. She sighed and tucked a lengthy piece of hair behind her ear; Mina bounced up and laid down her head on Ochaco's shoulder. Katsuki tuned them out until he heard the nickname he gave Izuku being mentioned.

"Someone should go to get him. He's been acting odd," Ochaco says, resisting her arms.

Mina winded her arm over Ochaco and laid her head on the brunette's shoulder," Okay, any volunteers?"

Everyone murmured amongst themselves, all agreeing that they didn't want to do it. Katsuki leveled his eyes and stood from his seat, shoving his phone into his pocket.

"Tch, whatever, I'll do it."

"Bakubro, I don't think that's a clever idea," Kirishima started.

"Shut the fuck up," Katsuki hissed as his eyes swirled with rage.

The room went hushed, enabling the blonde to leave. Everyone sat in silence, staring at the doorway Katsuki walked through. The room filled with noise once more, everyone forgetting that the two rivals were in a room together, alone.

------------------------------------

Katsuki stood in the middle of Izuku's room. His eyes glazed over the walls, his hands begging to touch. The blonde scrunched his hands and looked toward Izuku. The greenette stood with his arms resisted.

"What do you desire, kacchan?" Izuku spat, annoyed that his separate time was ruined.

"What's up with you? Everyone's worried about you, and it's pissing me off.

Izuku scoffed and massaged his temples. The blonde in front of him could not be grave. 'They aren't brooded. They scarcely care about me. If they did, they would know I'm ill.'

"Deku, you're muttering. Just spit it out, nerd."

"Nothing Kacchan. Just get out. I'll be down to hang in a bit."

Katsuki looked at Izuku with an eyebrow raised. He huffed and decided not to push; it's not like they were close enough for Katsuki to make Izuku spit it out. The angered male left without an argument releasing Izuku.

The greenette secure his door as he began having a coughing fit. Izuku underwent something crawling up the back of his throat. A solemn orange-ish-yellow flower flew past his lips, landing on the floor; Izuku bent down and clutched the flower petal with a trembling hand. What the hell is this?!

------------------------------------

Katsuki walked into the living room, his deminer thrown off of its soundtrack. He seemed less angry than usual. Everyone looked at him as if he represented a doctor about to deliver news about the patient. Katsuki looked up from the ground and scoffed. He shrugged his shoulders and seized his phone out of his pocket. The blonde made his way back to the end of the couch, curling up into it.

The room stayed silent for a while. Everyone didn't grasp what to maintain. The light footsteps echoed through the hallways, assigning the current area in a tranquil, substantial atmosphere. Izuku entered the living room, his skin looking paler than when Katsuki had barely regarded him, and he shook in his skin. Ochoco stood from her spot and tended to Izuku's side, babbling in his ear. Katsuki looked up from his phone and observed the greenette. He looks pale. I wonder if I frightened him earlier. I presumably did, but whatever.
