1 Chapter 1

"Do you hear me," Changmin says as he zips up his pants and then he buttons them. He then grabs his white button-down shirt and looks at Jaejoong seeing that he is in a daze. Jae is sitting on a wooden bench with his shirt still off but pants on while smoking a cigarette with one leg up and the other laying down as he looks up gazing at the locker room window of their school's gymnasium.

Changmin shakes his head and he put his arms through the sleeves of his white button-down leaving it open as he walks over to Jaejoong. He then feels Jaejoong's long black silky hair and then he grabs Jaejoong by his chin forcing him to look at him. Jae slightly moves jump back as he moves his eyes slowly over to look at Changmin and Changmin then crashes his lips against his. Changmin deepens the kiss and Jae slowly kisses back as their tongues start to battle.

Changmin then breaks the kiss and he then touches Jaejoong's hair again. " Sorry for startling you...You should cut it." Changmin says looking at Jae's hair.

"I like it long," Jaejoong says as he flicks the ashes from the cig onto the ground.

Changmin starts buttoning up his shirt as he blocks out what Jaejoong says and he then looks at Jae. "Finish getting dressed and then you should head out first and then I'll go," Changmin says as he takes the cigarette from Jaejoong's mouth and he puts it between his lips.

Jaejoong then stands up and grabs his shirt and starts putting on his uniform. After finishing that up Jaejoong then puts his long hair into a low ponytail and he walks towards the locker room door. He then exits the locker room first as instructed as he is in his thoughts. "Why do I do this?" The thought runs through his head as he walks towards the nosy gymnasium of his, Changmin, and Junsu graduating class. He enters into the huge gymnasium filled with his classmates and the parents of his classmates. Then he stands off to the side and he is then pulled into a tight hug by an excited animated Junsu.

"JAEJOONG!" Junsu yells in excitement hugging his friend.

Jae chuckles lowly at Junsu's vibrant, animated, and over the top behavior. "Aren't you excited we are finally done with high school!" Junsu says breaking the hug.

"Yea, it is great to be done," Jaejoong says in a low soft voice.

Junsu then touches Jaejoong's long hair that's in a low ponytail. "Really Jaejoong you're not going to cut your hair for our high school Graduation," Junsu says as he touches a few strands of Jaejoong's long hair that stops pasts his shoulders a little bit.

Jaejoong laughs hearted laugh with his eyes closed giving a small smile. "I like it long, Junsu," Jae says as he touches his hair.

Junsu rolls his eyes and then he starts to look around looking for someone as they stand in the middle of the gym waiting for their graduation ceremony to start. Jaejoong just stands their and he gets lost in his own little world till it is interrupted by Junsu as he starts talking to him.

"Where is Changmin? Have you seen him Jaejoong?" Junsu asks as he continues to move his head in different directions to see if he can spot Changmin.

"No, I haven't-" Jaejoong says as he starts to look as well but he stops as his eyes are covered and he gives a small grin.

"Found him," Jaejoong says as he recognizes Changmin's hands.

Junsu turns around and playfully hits Changmin on his shoulder. "The hell! Where have you been?" Says Junsu with an irritated and playful tone.

Changmin chuckles lowly as he removes his hands away from Jaejoong's face and rests one of his arms around Jaejoong's shoulders. "I was in the back room of the gym checking to our audition time," Changmin says as he stares at Junsu and then looks at Jaejoong.

Junsu rolls his eyes as he takes in Changmin's appearance 5'9 tall wearing their school uniform which consists of a black fitted jacket, black pants, white button-down shirt in which Changmin had a few buttons undone, and a navy and black tie. Changmin's hair was styled in a messy way as he tilted his head to lay on Jaejoong's head as his silver small hoop earrings gently swayed with his movements. He then holds his black jacket lazily in his free hand as he stares at Junsu with a bored expression. "It's going to take an hour and 6 minutes from Kawagoe to Tokyo. We will have to catch the train right away if we want to get to the audition a little early." Junsu says as he looks at his iPhone 13.

Changmin clicks his tongue and rolls his eyes as his arm still lays across Jaejoong's shoulder. "We'll be on time, calm down," Changmin says, and right after Changmin said that ceremony started.

Jaejoong sighs as he blocks out the entire graduation speech and basically the whole ceremony as he stared up at the gymnasium windows as beams of the sunlight invades the gym bringing in a sense of warmth. He then turns his head as Junsu nudges him and he turns to look at him with a confused look. "Go they called your name idiot!" Junsu says under his breath as he shakes his head.

Jaejoong looks up at the stage as the principal and the other teachers wait for him to walk across the stage. He then slowly makes his way up to the stage as his long hair sways behind him. Then as he walks across the stage you would think he would feel nervous, anxious, happy to be finally done but he didn't feel anything at all. Then soon after he finally reached the principal and shacked his hand and is handed his diploma. Jaejoong blocks out what the principal says to him as he goes in space of his own little world again.

"Tomatoes sound good right now." As random thoughts invade and run through Jaejoong's mind.

He then snaps out of it as he sees the principal lips are not moving anymore meaning he was done talking to him and Jaejoong walked off the stage and went back to his spot. Then soon after some time, Jaejoong is now standing outside of the school grounds next to his parents as they socialize with other students' parents. Jaejoong does not pay them any mind as he looks up at the bright blue sky and he hums as a nice breeze brushes past him and he closes his eyes as his hair blows in the wind.

"Ah, Jaejoong gets out of that dream of yours, and let's go catch the train," Junsu shouts at him as he grabs Jaejoong's wrists running towards Changmin. Jaejoong follows and he looks back at his parents and gives them a small wave as they wave back at him knowing where he's going.

"Hurry it up!" Changmin shouts as he yells from his dad's car as he sits in the front seat.

Junsu and Jaejoong pile in the back of Changmin's father's car and the car takes off to the train station. They soon reach the train station and Junsu quickly gets out of the car and he runs ahead of them. Changmin grabs his back and guitar as he grabs Jaejoong by his left wrists and he starts running as well as a silent Jaejoong.

"Come on you idiots!" Junsu shouts as he stands in front of the train opens doors looking at Changmin and Jaejoong running towards him.

Changmin and Jaejoong quickly get on the train after the train attendant checked their tickets and gave them the signal that they can go to their seats. They then take their seats Jaejoong sitting by the window and Changmin is next to him while Junsu is across them. Then right away Changmin and Junsu start changing into their street band clothes. Jaejoong just keeps his gaze out the window as he is used to Changmin and Junsu's routine in changing their clothes in odd places where they are at for either a gig or an audition.

Shock Wave is the name of the band that Changmin and Junsu are in, Changmin the lead guitarists and Junsu the lead singer, and two other older guys by the name Leo and V that are in the band with them. Then there is Jaejoong he was more like their support person and of course friend. He just observes the beautiful countryside of their hometown Kawagoe, Japan, and is now on their way to Tokyo the big city for a major audition for their band Shock Wave. Jaejoong then looks away from the window to Changmin and Junsu talking to each other going over their plan of what to do for the audition.

"I'm so fucking nervous and excited at the same time!" Junsu says with excitement and sparkle in his eyes as he talks.

Changmin leans back into his seat with his eyes closed as he hums in response to Junsu.

"Then to be auditioning at the same music entertainment company that Ace is assigned to. Fucking magic!" Junsu says excitedly as he does a little dance in his seat.

"Who knows maybe he's one of the judges at the audition. I wouldn't be surprised if he was." Changmin says with his eyes closed with a shrug

Jaejoong then turns his head and looks at them both in confusion. "Who is Ace?" he says with confusion as he opens his bag and pulls out a plastic bag of cherry tomatoes. He then opens the bag and picks up a cherry tomato and plops it into his mouth.

Junsu's eyes go wide as he gasps and chokes on the air and he starts coughing. Changmin chuckles under his breath as he pulls out a pack of cigs and he pulls one out and he then lights it. "Seriously Jaejoong what goes on in that head of yours. The number of times I and Changmin talk about Ace. He is the lead singer, and songwriter of the band BAD. He's basically a fucking musical genius like you, Jaejoong. He's known for his wild and crazy stage presence and his wild dark red hair." Junsu says to explain to Jaejoong.

Jaejoong listens with interest as Changmin hums and nods in response. "His vocal style is insane like yours. It's most often alternates between soft, melodic singing, and harder, harsher, yelling." Junsu says as he explains some more.

Changmin grabs his Air pods and he puts them inside Jaejoong's ears he then turns on his iPhone 13 and he starts playing an Ace song. Jaejoong then turns his head to look out the window as he takes in the lyrics, the singer, and the instruments in all at once and it doesn't take long before he gets lost in the music. Jaejoong closes his eyes and he starts tapping his fingers against his pants leg as he bobs his head a few times and plops another tomato in his mouth. Junsu and Changmin watch with smiles on their face.

"There he goes again lost in that musical genius head of his," Junsu says as he shakes his head and he leans back into his seat.

"Let him be," Changmin says as he flicks the ash off his cig into the tray by him and puts the cig back up to his mouth.

Jaejoong hummed to the song with his eyes closed getting lost in the music. The sounds all around him fade away as he gets immersed and transfixed in the sounds. He felt like he was floating in the universe full of stars, planets, and tomatoes. Jaejoong grins a little as he reaches his arms out trying to reach for a star as he is still lost in the music. He then snaps his eyes open as Changmin pulls one of the pods out of his ear breaking him away from his universe.

"We're here," Changmin says.

Jaejoong nods his head and he then takes the other pod out of his ear and hands it to Junsu. They all gather their things and then head off the train. Junsu smiles as he drops his bag and he jumps in the air with excitement.

"Were here! Ah, posters, boards, and pictures of Ace everywhere!!" Junsu says as sparkles appear in his eyes with excitement.

Changmin closes his eyes and he then pulls out another cig and lights it and then he takes a puff. "Figures and chill, will you," Changmin says under his breath lowly.

Junsu ignores Changmin's boring mood and he goes ahead of them. Changmin watches him and he then takes the cigarette out of his mouth and he then pulls Jaejoong into a deep kiss. Changmin kisses Jaejoong deeply as he looks at Jaejoong with sharp eyes and Jaejoong slowly kisses back with his eyes closed tight.

Changmin then breaks the kiss and he then grabs Jaejoong's bag and he starts walking ahead. "let's go get food first. I'm hungry." Changmin says walking with the cig in his mouth with one of his hands in his pockets.

Jaejoong watches him walk ahead of him as he gets deep in thought. "What am I to you? Is it love? But what is the feeling of love… Is love when you can't think of the other…or" Jaejoong thinks as he starts following behind Changmin.

They decide to get something to eat first before the audition and they decide to get burgers. Junsu chomps down on his burger as Changmin is leaning back in his chair with his eyes closed as he takes small sips here and there of his soda. Junsu takes another bite of his burger and swallows it quickly.

"Jaejoong you should really do what Changmin said and audition too! You would be picked right away! Then we all will be famous together!" Junsu says as he leans forward looking at Jaejoong with excitement.

Jaejoong turns his head away from looking out the restaurant window and he chuckles lowly at Junsu. He then picks up a napkin and wipes Junsu's mouth and he then tucks a few strands of his long hair behind his right ear. "I'm good working on my parent's tomato farm," Jaejoong says lowly.

"Tomato this, a tomato that… fuck the tomatoes and reach for the god damn stars Jaejoong because you are one," Junsu says with a fist pump of excitement.

Changmin rolls his eyes and kicks Junsu under the table. "Shut the hell up, will you. Such a fucking child." Changmin groans out.

"ahah," Junsu yells as he groans in pain and he then gives Changmin the finger.

Jaejoong laughs heartedly in a quiet manner. "No, I'm good on the farm," Jaejoong says as he picks up his sandwich and he takes a small bite.

After some time, they finish up their food and decide to hit a few clothing stores, bookstores, and cafes before heading over to Strike entertainment company. Junsu gives a big grin as he looks up at the entertainment companies building and he giggles with excitement. The other two bandmates show up and greet Junsu and Changmin as Jaejoong stands off to the side looking up at the sky.

"Will this is it," Changmin says.

Junsu nods fast. "We got this. Let's go!" Says Junsu as he starts walking with V and Leo.

Changmin starts to walk but stops as he turns towards Jaejoong and he smiles as he sees him deep in thought. He then walks over to Jaejoong and he puts both his hands-on Jae's face and makes him look at him. Changmin stares deep into Jaejoong's eyes and he then pulls him into a kiss. He then breaks away fast and starts walking towards the entertainment entrance doors as he gives Jaejoong a little wave. "A good luck kiss."

Jaejoong watches him go with a little smile and he then goes back to looking up at the sky. Jae then walks up to one of the columns attached to the building and leans up against it and he pulls out a box of cigarettes and he pulls a stick out. He then lights it and sticks the cig into his mouth taking a puff. Jaejoong takes a few more puffs and he grabs Changmin's Airpods and phone that he left with him and he puts the pods into his ear, and he starts listening to Ace again humming along.

He then decides after time goes by a bit to take a walk continuing to listen to Ace with both hands inside of his pants pockets. He smiles as he gets lost in the lead singer's voice, so transfixed…addicted.

"So warm…" Jaejoong says under his breath he then slowly and quietly starts singing out loud as he walks the streets of busy Tokyo not caring at the astonished and shocked looks he is getting.

Jaejoong then stops at a long crosswalk filled with a ton of people as the light is green. He gently bobs his head engrossed in the music then the light turns red and the little walkman light pops up and he starts crossing the street but as he does so. A tall skinny but muscular man wearing a black baseball cap hiding his dark red hair, and then to hide his eyes a black pair of shades. Then with the accessories, the man is styled in a dark green silk satin long sleeve shirt with his chest revealing a bit, black tight designer pants, black small heeled boots, a long chain necklace with a star at the end, and star earrings in his ears. The man walks towards Jaejoong with both his hands in his pocket as he crosses the road keeping his sight forward.

They both walk past each other, but time felt like it had stopped as the nose all around both of them had become quiet and only the singing of Jaejoong can be heard. The man stops instantly as his eyes slowly move to stare at the kid he is passing, and his eyes widen at the astonishing sounds coming from the youth's mouth.

"Warm…" The man says under his breath quietly and he grunts as his shoulder is bumped roughly at the crowd of people making him fall to the ground. He quickly gets up and turns around to find the young man, but he lost him in the crowd and he quickly runs after the boy. He still trying to get across the street as the crowd becomes less and less of people and he halts in his steps as he sees the boy.

"Long hair huh?" The man says with a smirk under his breath as he takes notice of the boy's long black hair.

But just as he was about to go to the boy the man is sent flying to the ground as a car collides with his body. The man's body skids across the pavement and he losses consciousness for a couple of seconds he opens his eyes barely seeing people crowd around him screaming and looking at him with concern as paramedics are being called right away. The man reaches out slowly with blood on his hand as he got shards of glass stuck in his hands. He reaches out to the long hair boy and the boy's back is turned away from him and he fades away slowly losing.

Jaejoong walks a few more blocks and he then decides to go back to the building as they should be finished with their audition. Then Jaejoong walks back the same way he came and he takes notice that there has been an accident as he crosses from another street looking at all the paramedics and cops trying to control traffic and whatnot. He then looks away from the scene and makes his way back to the building.

He then reaches the building just in time to see Changmin, Junsu, and the rest of the band making their way out. He then walks up to them. "How did it go?" Jaejoong says lowly.

"It was great! I think we impressed them, yeah Changmin?" Junsu says speaking up first as he looks from Jaejoong to Changmin.

Changmin shrugs. "We did well. Now, all we have to do is wait till tomorrow to hear the results.

Leo and V break off and go there on their way as Jaejoong, Junsu, and Changmin make their way back to the train station. "Should we head back home or stay the night here till we hear the results. Oh, Oh I know Jaejoong can we crash at your place since your house is kind of close-" Junsu says as he looks at Jaejoong but is cut off by Changmin.

"What so you can eat Jaejoong's mom's cooking," Changmin says quietly with one hand in his pocket.

Junsu pouts and Jaejoong laughs quietly. "That's fine. You guys can crash at my place. Let me use your cell, Changmin to give my parents a call," Jaejoong says.

Changmin pulls out his cell and hands it to Jaejoong. They then reach the train station and board the train and make their way back to their hometown. The rest of the night was filled with Junsu's loud obnoxious mouth and loud chewing from Jaejoong's mom's home-cooked meal. Changmin and Jaejoong just remain silent adding in their bits here and there. Now, it is nighttime and Junsu lays on the blowout bed asleep snoring a bit, and Changmin next to him asleep in his own corner of the blowout bed.

Jaejoong is sitting up in his bed the dramatic ticking sounds of his wall clock echoing inside his bedroom locking him in a slight trance as he stares at his blankets. He then looks over at his desk to see a picture of him when he was about 5 years old posing while standing next to his older brother. He then looks away and he stares at his balcony door windows as the moonlight shines inside his room beaming onto his blankets. He then sighs and gets up from his bed and he makes his way out of his bedroom and walks down the hall towards the stairs. He walks downstairs and heads straight towards the kitchen and walks over to the fridge. Then opens the fridge door and he grabs a few cherry tomatoes.

Then closes the fridge and makes his way out of the kitchen plopping a tomato into his mouth as he makes his way back up to his room. He then enters his room and walks straight towards his balcony doors he opens them, and he steps out onto the balcony and he closes the door. He then leans against the railing and then he looks up at the stars and he smiles. Jaejoong then feels arms wrap around his waist interrupting his thoughts.

"Why are you out here," Changmin says lowly into Jaejoong's ear.

"I can't sleep," Jaejoong says simply as he gets ready to eat another tomato Changmin takes it and he bites into it and then kisses Jaejoong deeply.

"Come," Changmin says as he grabs Jaejoong by his wrist making the few tomatoes he had left fall to the ground as he guides him back inside his bedroom. Jaejoong looks back at the tomatoes on the ground with a despairing look.

Changmin then gently pushes Jaejoong down on his bed and he looks over at Junsu which he is in a deep sleep. Changmin then goes back to looking at Jaejoong as he takes off his shirt and tosses it to the side and he gets on top of Jaejoong and stares at him in the eyes. Changmin then leans down to Jae's ear.

"Look at me when I fuck you," Changmin whispers into Jae's ear.

Jaejoong looked up at Changmin but he looked past him as he focused on the moonlight being shined through the balcony reflecting on his bedroom ceiling.

Next Day

"GUYS!" Junsu shouts as he looks at his email on his phone while he repeatedly hits Changmin that is next to him on the head with a pillow.

Changmin groans as he turns over and glares at Junsu he then grabs the pillow with force and hits Junsu hard. Junsu groans and whimpers as he slams into the blowout mattress.

"Shut the fuck up, will you! Why are you so fucking loud in the morning!" Changmin groans out in a groggy voice.

Junsu sets back up and shoves his phone into Changmin's face. "We fucking pass the audition!" Junsu says standing up with excitement.

"Congrats," Jaejoong says softly as he is setting up in his bed looking at them.

Changmin closes his eyes and lets a small grin appear on his face.

A week passed and Jaejoong is standing at the train station platform with Junsu and Changmin as they had tons of bags for their move to Tokyo. Jaejoong stands there looking down wearing just plain grey sweats with a white t-shirt and grey flip-flops as his long hair hangs loosely. Then soon after that their train arrives and Junsu speed onto the train Changmin then turns to look at Jaejoong.

"This is it," Changmin says lowly.

Jaejoong stays silent as he gives a small nod of his head. Changmin then walks up to him and he leans down and whispers a few words to Jaejoong. He then steps away from Jaejoong and picks up his two large bags and he boards the train. Junsu waves excitedly at Jaejoong through the window while Changmin takes his seat. Then soon the train takes off Jaejoong watches as he gives a small wave. A sense of tight forms around his neck and he rubs his neck he then turns around and starts making his way back to his home.

He then puts both his hands inside his pockets and looks up at the bright blue sky and he closes his eyes as a gentle breeze goes by him.
