Re:covery

After publically declaring war on the Washuu Clan, I spent the rest of the night clearing out a few Yakuza bases. Now that I have made enemies with the Washuu, they are going to throw everything they have at me, I will need to get better equipment. Not just a mask made by Uta and a little bit of body armor, but actual equipment. Because If I dont, I could actually die. Luckily I have one of the best Scientists in Tokyo Ghoul under my thumb. Im sure that If I ask Dr. Kanou I could probably get some better Equipment.

Currently, I am on my way to the Hospital. Akira finally decided to call me, after 35 hours! Can you believe that? You get your ass kicked and nearly Die and all of a sudden your a big shot who doesn't need to inform your friends about it!?!?! Then again I was technically the reason she got hurt... man Im an ass... Eh, I'll make it up to her with coffee

I pulled up to the Hospital and Ran up to the front desk, Startling the lady managing it. "Akira, Akira Mado, which floor and room is she?" I asked as she types into her computer. "The third floor in room #249." she says as I run to an elevator. quickly I press the third floor and after sitting there for a minute and listening to rather annoying music the elevator's doors open, and I run out. it takes me a few minutes but I find her room and open the door. Inside she is sitting in her room, in hospital garbs. her shoulder was wrapped up, and covered in a bit of blood.

"I came as fast as I could, what happened? Who did this? and when?!" I asked, already knowing the answer. I plan on telling them not to hurt Akira. "Katharsis attacked the base I was at. it was stupid of us to think there were only three of them. I was injured fighting Black Rabbit. He spared me and I cared my father here since it was only five blocks down. this happened around two days ago." She said as I nodded. "Next time call me immediately after, don't wait two days! I scold her, as she looks down.

"I didn't want you to worry. I called when they said I would be perfectly fine. My dad will also be fine. though He will be in the hospital for a little bit longer." She said as I looked at her. "And how long will you be here? do you need anything?" I questioned, looking at her patched up shoulder. from what I can tell, a Ukaku feather went straight through it, which must take a lot of time to heal.

"About a week, and no. I don't need anything," she says, as I sit down in a chair. after that, we talked about various things. From her job to her cat we talked about it all. in an hour I had left, and started driving back home. Rize was there at the front door, waiting for me.

"You didn't come back for two days. I waited here for you. do you have any idea how worried I was?!" she badgered, as I looked at her. "I did come home. you were just asleep. how else did you get that blanket last night." I said as I looked at her. I walk in and immediately go to my room and throw on my ghoul outfit. Rize, seeing that I was going out looked at me strangely. "Its almost morning, are you sure you want to go to the castle?" she said, as I nodded."Yeah, im most likely going to spending the whole day there. so... throw some 'Bacon' on the stove eye on high for about a minute or two. that should be good enough." I say as she nods.

I get on my bike and Drive off, and within 10 minutes I reach the Castle. Parking at the Science labs, and apon walking in I am met by Dr. Kanou, along with two familiar faces. "Ahh yes, my benefactor. Kurona, Nashiro, meet the man who made the entire surgery possible, Vasto Lord." he said, as they turned blankly towards me. It seems he found them, as expected. "Dr. Kanou, what are you doing...?" I ask, pretending not to know what he was doing. "Well, as soon as we procured the necessary ingredients, these women underwent the 'Quinx' Surgery that you and I thought up. and as expected after coating a Rinkaku and Bikaku Kakukou in Quinque steel they easily survived the surgery and are now Quinx's" he said, as Nanshiro and Kurona activated the grey Kakugan they possessed.

"hmm, Extraordinary. Can they still eat normal food, or must they eat human meat?" I asked as he shook his head. "They can eat normal food, I checked the moment they exited surgery. Not only that, but it seems that if we take the blood of a deceased ghoul and filter it in with their own they can develop the insanely quick recovery rates of ghouls. though they do scar up much easier." he said, as I nodded. "Well, Dr. Kanou, I would Like to get a run by of all that we got, I know we got Quinque steel and that jazz, but what else do we have?" I asked as he nodded. "well to put it simply, we have about 1,456 Bars of Quinque Steel, or about a ton and a half. we filled up nearly half a truck with Koukaku's and the rest of it was filled with either the plans to inventions that would've been used against ghouls, Quinque's, Kakuja's and Q-Bullets. In total, our boon was 3,600 LBs of Quinque Steel, 264 Quinque's, 16 Schematics, 17,396 Q-Bullets. and 20 Kakuja's." he said, as we walked around the Labs.

"Hmm, well that is good, have a few of the scientist work on the Manuscripts we recovered, Oh, and did you get what I sent to you?" I asked as he nodded. "Yes, I did, Follow me." He said, and we continued on until we came to what appeared to be a Manquin. The Mannequin was dressed in a casual suit, that had a black jacket over it. On its wrist, an expensive watch resides, and a Desert Eagle was in its hands. on its face, it had a Gasmask with an eyepatch covering one of the eyes. "Ever since we found the Kakuja's we've been testing if we can make a form of Quinque with it. Now, if we do that then the armor will eat the person, ghoul or human. However, we found that we can melt it down and mix it with Quinque steel to form an entirely different compound, which we have named Kakuja Steel. The Steel itself is almost as light as a feather, coming in at about 0.002 pounds. not only that but it also gives Quadruple the protection of Titanium-Steel Alloys. we melted around 35 Bars down along with all 20 Kakujas and came out with 35 bars of Kakuja Steel. Then we used Foil Shaving method to cut it into Metallic Fibers and Voila, you now have an outfit that can take a tank shell and not get destroyed, though I would Advise not doing that, you'd still die. Next up We used the Kakuja steel in Creating your Quinque." he said, as he took the watch off. " This is your Quinque, Renga. after getting the Koukaku we used the same methods I learned at the CCG to create it. It's Disguised as a watch, So you can take it with you even when you are not disguised as Vasto Lord." he said as I nodded

"This button here Transforms it into a Katana. The Katana itself has one button on the blade, which actives a special power of the blade," he says, as he transforms the watch into its Katana form. He then presses one button, and the blade instantly lights up red and hot, I myself can feel it from here. " I assume that you've been eating a little extra, and funnel RC cells into the Koukaku that You gave us because this one evolved a power. As you know some ghouls are capable of developing additional abilities, from using electricity to shapeshifting. this one can heat up its blade to nearly impossible degrees, as cut through most objects. If you drop the blade or take your finger off, the power deactivates, so you don't accidentally cut through the earth, because im almost certain its possible for this thing." he said, as he turned it back into a watch.

He walks up to the Mannequin and puts the watch on, before pointing to the mask on it. "This mask was made of Kakuja steel, Kakuja Fiber, and some leather. its filter needs to be changed every 24 hours spent in gaseous area, so unless you are planning on climbing a mountain in this, you should be good."

He then takes out the Modified Desert Eagle and hands it to me. "We modified some Q-Bullets to fit the .50 Caliber class, this thing could take the head off of almost any ghoul/Dove you come across!" he said as I rub it. "You've made a friend in me for life," I said as I rub the gun sensually. it is a well-known fact that if you give an American a gun or a car, then you will always have a place in their heart... unless they are a democrat, but we don't talk about disappointments here.

"Well, I guess that's all there is. well, do you want to know about those Schematics, or would you like to go test your equipment?" Dr. Kanou asked, as I immediately reply. "Im off to test it, see you after?" I ask as he sighs. "Sure."
