1 Chapter 1

"Three bowls of noodles!" Harry yelled to Mia.

"Three bowls of noodles got it!" Mia run around the kitchen serving three bowls of noodles.

"Five plates of chicken soup!" Harry called out again before even Mia is done! She ran around the kitchen like a confused person. She looked at her watch! She was late for school! This was going to be her first day at a new school! She couldn't afford to be late!

She finished her orders quickly.

"Harry I'm sorry but I--"

"You have to go to school. I understand." Harry flashed a smiling at her. "Go on. Good luck! Fighting!"

Mia smiled back before she disappeared to a room upstairs to change into her new uniform. After saying goodbye to Harry she rushed out.

Harry was her eldest brother. Her family owned a small restaurant of which she and her brother helped out. Her elder sister who was a year younger than Harry, Loree, was always out drinking and lazying around. She sighed. Loree knew the family's state yet she would even steal some of the money earned in the shop to buy drinks for herself!

Somehow Mia could sense that today was going to be a different day! A new beginning! In a new school! She had just gotten a sponsorship at the prestigious school Riville High school.

Yes! What could go wrong!!

Meanwhile, Ryan drove his car slowly. He hated the rain, it made the road muddy and full of puddles. In such conditions he couldn't drive as fast as he wanted. Nevertheless he felt like increasing the speed. And this he did. As he drove through a puddle he found himself splashing water on a school girl's uniform.

"Hey!! Get back here!!" Mia yelled. What in the world was wrong with car drivers! Couldn't they see water puddles! Now her new uniform was soiled!

Ryan stopped the car at distance . Mia walked towards the car clearly infuriated. Ryan rolled down his window. The moment their eyes met his heart stopped beating for a minute... He felt that he had met this girl before he knew her from somewhere.

"Don't just stare at me!" Mia snapped him back to reality. "Look at what you've done!" She pointed at her uniform. Ryan just looked at her blankly.

"Are you done?" He asked.

"Wha--"

"If so...then excuse me I have a school to get to." He said begun driving.

"Hey!!" Mia yelled seemingly running after the car.

Ryan was surprised. what the heck was wrong with the girl?! Did she honestly think she could chase after a car -his car- and actually catch up? He chuckled.

"Don't you dare drive away from me!" She yelled as she ran. Ryan slowed down allowing her to catch up.

"You... should... at least... apologize... for...splashing water on me..." She said in between her breathing. Little did she know that they had made it to the school gate.

Ryan ignored her and went on to park his car, leaving her standing in front of the school gate in her now dirty uniform...
