Flustered

It was lunch break at school on the same day, and I had made myself careful to stay away from Joshua, since I was still VERY flustered and embarrassed. I had brushed past him once or twice and he asked me to meet him at the back of the school when the half lunch bell rang. DIIIIINNGG!!!!!!! DONGGGG! As if right on que, the half bell chimed its familiar ring. I stood up, wiped my skirt and proceeded to walk towards the back of the school where Joshua had asked me to meet him. As soon as I arrived, I saw him leaning against the wall, and his head turned to look at me. I instantly broke out blushing once our eyes locked. " Heyy D!" Joshua called. "H-hey!! W-wassup?" I stammered in reply. "Oh umm... I just was wondering... What happened this morning?"

Silence.

"Umm..... Well I was trying to wake you up! K! Don't think of it as something different!"

"Yea yea, I know you'd never like me..."

Josh started to walk away and I let him be for a few seconds since I was hesitant with my plan I had formed immediately after he moved away. I ran up to hug him from behind and he turned around to hug me back. He lifted me up and his hands went from my back - like when you hug a friend - down and up my whole body and my hands found a way to his chest when he had his hands on my butt. He looked down into my eyes and I looked up into his. We stayed like for a few moments and he was still carrying me so I whispered, "You can put me down now." He didn't move, I put my hands around his neck and looked deeper into his dark chocolate like eyes. I pulled him in closer to my face as our noses met and I turned my head sideways a little as he gave me a quick, final stare since the bell chimed once more, indicating the end of lunch break.

After school ended, I was still thinking about Josh and what had happened at half bell time when he ran up to me from behind and unexpectedly lifted me up and put me over his shoulders into a piggyback position, me being me I started to squeal and said "Come on! Lets go to the house!"

About maybe 30 seconds later, Joshua had dropped me on his front yard on to the lawn. We both had broke out laughing and it took us several minutes to recover. After the laughter died down, I stood up waited for Josh to get up too, when he did, we went inside. I put my bag down and then ran into his room and leaped into his bed, Josh chased after me and leaped into the bed too. We sat there for a bit in silence while we were sideways and staring into eachothers eyes deeply until after what had felt like forever, he remembered about Harvey and Jianka. "Oh umm... Wanna go scheck on Harvey and Jianka?" He asked, breaking the silence. "Sure..." I said, a bit sad we couldn't stay there for longer.
