1 Chapter 1.

Inside a giant library, a handsome black-haired youth sat on a chair. He was reading a book that appeared to be in an ancient language.

The young man who was 16 years old was Ye Han, the elder son of the Ye family as well as the only son of the city lord of Glory City.

Glory City, was a city that was located in the valley of St Ancestral Mountain range and was covered by huge mountains.

The huge mountains along with the dangerous beasts outside made it impossible for the people of the city to leave outside which was why for thousands of years, they never came into contact with someone from the outside world.

"And with this, I have completed all the books here….."

The young man softly murmured and closed the book before standing up.

He placed the book back in its place and then headed outside of the library.

As the library was in the Holy Orchid Institute, he ran into multiple students who excitedly greeted him.

Part of the reason was that he was the heir of the Snow Wind family, the strongest major family in the Glory City who doesn't shy away from accepting talented commoners in their family, unlike the other families who simply hate or ignore the commoners.

The other reason was because of his talent and fame in the entire city.

He was supposed to leave the city for two years with an elder to roam the world; however, at the last moment, he changed his decision which made everyone frown.

His father, Ye Zong even asked the reason behind the sudden decision and he calmly answered him by saying that he wasn't ready yet.

Even at the mere age of 14 years old, he was already a 3rd-level Silver demon Spiritualist which made everyone have high hopes for him however unlike what they had expected, he didn't advance in his cultivation realm even after two years.

Hell, his cultivation level even began to drop down which made a lot of noble families' young children happy as they wanted to fight with him to increase their reputation.

The Sacred family which was one of the three major families even hosted a young generation tournament even though there were still 2 years left for it.

Everyone came to watch the tournament as they all wanted to see how the city lord's son would do in the tournament.

They all however were beyond shocked when he single-handedly defeated everyone with just a normal punch. it didn't matter what realm they were in because as long as they stood in front of him, they were all defeated.

Everyone was shocked at this even the Snow Wind family didn't know that their young master was so strong even though his cultivation realm was in decline.

From that time, no one bothered him anymore as they all understood that he wasn't someone they could even fight against.

Some of the elders of noble families even warned their children not to do anything against him. Instead, they wanted their children to become friends with him as he was destined to become the city lord once again.

The city lord wanted to know how he became so strong even though all he did was sunbathe or read ancient books in the library, however, he didn't raise any questions.

The city lord knew when the time came, his son would explain everything to him. Till then, as a father, he will support his son unconditionally.

Coming out of the institute, Ye Han glanced at the sky and began to float slowly before flying toward the southern area where the city lord's mansion was located.

The students as well as the passers looked at his figure in amazement.

"Seeing him flying so freely always baffles me….."

In the principal's office, two elderly figures sat opposite each other.

They were both the Principal and Vice-Principal of the Holy Orchid Institute as well as were one of the strongest in the entire Glory City.

"If I could, I would have asked him, but lord Ye Mo won't appreciate that, right?" The principal spoke with a chuckle.

"He will be very mad at us." The Vice-Principal responded with a chuckle. "Even his father would come to fight us, don't you think?"

"That brat? He will surely throw a tantrum." The principal said with a chuckle. "Still though, I am very curious about his flight ability. No one below Legend rank should have that ability after all."

"I am sure that you aren't the only one who is curious about that." The Vice-Principal said with a smile.

While they were discussing among themselves, Ye Han had already reached the City lord's mansion which was considered the core area of the Glory City.

It was an endless collection of large courtyards filled with picturesque pillars and bridges, which created a magnificent view. At the same time, it is also one of the most heavily guarded areas in the city.

The guards at the entrance respectfully greeted him to which he nodded.

Even the lowest guards here have the cultivation level of Silver rank and the highest is that of Black Gold.

Everyone has been given a separate courtyard in this place however his father still loves to spend his time in his office.

"Father, I am back."

Ye Han opened the door and smiled at his father who was busy reading some documents.

"Done with reading your books?" Ye Zong asked, not lifting his head.

He was a muscular man with long purple hair tied into a ponytail. He was also the strongest in the entire Glory city only behind his father who was a Legend rank expert.

"Mmm."

Ye Zong put down the document and looked at his son. "Your cultivation is almost gone now." He commented on noticing the aura similar to that of a 1-star Bronze realm.

"I will be preparing to cultivate now." Ye Han said with a smile. "And let me tell you, father, I will be surpassing you in no time."

"Hahahaa" Ye Zong laughed loudly. "I would be very proud if you managed to do that."

"Don't worry, I won't leave you behind. I will also prepare a gift for you so you can catch up to me." Ye Han said with a chuckle. "Anyway, where is my lovely little sister, father?"

"Ziyun? She should be in her room." Ye Zong replied with a thoughtful expression. "She is quite busy, you know, especially after what she saw during that tournament."

"She wants to catch up to me." Ye Han said with an amused smile. "I will go and check on her now."

"Teach her some things." Ye Zong said with a meaningful smile and picked up the document once again. "She has been practising quite diligently these months."

"I will." Ye Han walked out of the office and headed towards his little sister's courtyard.

He however suddenly stopped in his tracks. "I think I should meet her after I am done preparing her little gift."

Saying that he changed his direction and headed towards his courtyard.

His last two years of work would bear a sweet fruit now and he can't wait to taste it.

Entering his courtyard, he went into his room which was filled with different books and wallpapers. They all were written by him and were in a language that he was sure that no one would know about because the language doesn't exist in this world.

The language was none other than English.

And the person who wrote it was also someone from Earth. He got a chance to come to this new world with some cheats which he happily accepted.

He even tweaked some things to make the new life a little better for himself.

"With this, I should be able to create a perfect cultivation method for myself." Ye Han mumbled and then sat in front of the large window.

He even opened it so the sunlight could come inside his room.

'Status screen.' He mentally spoke.

[Note:- The skills are divided into multiple levels; - Beginner, Adept, Intermediate, Advance, Professional, Master, Grandmaster, King, Saint, and God. ]

A smile appeared on his face as he gazed at his status screen which was filled with different skills and that too on such high levels.

Thanks to having the Superman physique, he gained the ability to speak and read any language which was how he managed to read the books that were in ancient languages.

He also gained the genius intellect of Superman. When he combined it with Weakness Detection power, he not only managed to learn things quickly but also improved them to the best ability.

'Now let's take a look at the cultivation methods that are suitable for me.'

Thanks to having infinite storage, he never faced the problem of forgetting things. As long as he wanted, he could retrieve any piece of information from his mind instantly.

Suddenly in his mind, around twelve different cultivation methods appeared, all of which were about the sun; however, he wasn't satisfied with it.

He didn't just want to become a little stronger than others, he wanted to become so strong that nobody could ever think of catching up to him no matter how much they cultivated themselves.

With the Twelve methods in front of him, he began to create another method, a method that wouldn't just give him some sun-based abilities. Instead, they will make him the Sun Embodiment, the embodiment of the primordial Sun.

The Primordial Sun is something that exists in the entire multiverse.

Slowly time passed as he with his absolute attention on the cultivation method began to merge all the available methods while trying to make it better than the previous one.

With the ability of Weakness Detection, it became quite easy for him to merge them while raising their powers.

After the sun disappeared, he was finally done with creating a perfect cultivation method suitable for himself.

"What should I name it?" Ye Han mused with a curious smile.

"Since it's a cultivation method that only I will be able to practise to reach absolute Godhood, I believe the name Eternal Sacred Sun would suit it very much."

He stood up from his place, walked toward the desk, and picked up a pen and paper to write down his cultivation method.

[Eternal Sacred Sun- By absorbing the sunlight along with the Soul energy, you will be able to increase not only your physical strength but also advance your cultivation.]

[After advancing to a new level, you will be able to form a mini sun inside your dantian which will permanently double your soul and physical strength. It will also bestow you with an ability however you will need to find out about it on your own.]

If there was something that he always wanted to change, it was his sunlight-absorbing ability.

His sun-absorbing ability only makes his physique stronger however as for his soul, it barely gets stronger compared to his physique.

However now with the help of this cultivation method, his soul would be getting stronger along with his physique. This would mean that in future, his soul will be powerful enough to resist direct attacks or even awaken new abilities.

After he was done writing it, he put it on the wall and went to sit once again to create another powerful cultivation method but this time, he was going to make it for his little sister who would be attending the Holy Orchid InstituteIf from the next month.

However, unlike his cultivation method, he would make sure that she gets some kind of powers to use even at a low level as she isn't going to have a demonic beast attached to her soul realm.

~~~~~~
In the Ye family dining room, four individuals gathered around the table, where an array of dishes awaited them.
Among them were Ye Zong, Ye Han, Ye Xiu, and Ye Hong.
Ye Xiu bore a striking resemblance to his elder brother, Ye Zong, while Ye Hong shared a noticeable likeness with his father, Ye Xiu.
"Where's she, Uncle Zong?" Ye Hong inquired, his curiosity piqued as he searched for his cousin.
"How would I know? She didn't even come by to see me," Ye Zong replied with a wry smile. "I had someone set to meet her, but it seems they didn't follow through."
Though he refrained from mentioning the individual's name, it was clear to everyone who he was referring to.
"I had something important to attend to first," Ye Han explained, sensing his father's scrutiny. "I'm certain she's off training, though I'm puzzled why Aunt Xue hasn't brought her here yet."
"Your aunt's engrossed in crafting another set of inscriptions, so she hasn't been with Ziyun lately," Ye Xiu remarked. "It seems she's stumbled upon some inspiration."
"Cousin, when will you resume attending classes?" Ye Hong inquired with curiosity. "Things have been getting rowdy with you absent."
"You mean Shen Fei?" Ye Han queried. "Is he bothering you again?"
"Not at all," Ye Hong chuckled, shaking his head. "I don't think he dares to after you confronted him."
Both of them shared a laugh, reminiscing about Shen Fei's terrified expression.
"Conflict isn't advisable," Ye Zong interjected solemnly. "Especially considering he is the future patriarch of a major family."
"Ziyun requested our assistance, Uncle Zong," Ye Hong grinned. "She knows her friend isn't fond of him, so she asked for our support. Though because of my lack of cultivation level at that time, he proved to be a difficult opponent."
"Ziyun..." Ye Zong was momentarily speechless, prompting laughter from the others.
"To be frank, I've no plans to return to the Academy," Ye Han declared solemnly. "There's little left for me to gain there. It's time I focused on preparing for the role of city lord."
"But I'm not ready to hand over the reins just yet," Ye Zong retorted, eyeing his son with annoyance. "I still have the vigour to manage the city's affairs."
"Strength alone won't suffice for the role, Han," Ye Xiu chimed in seriously. "You'll need the support of the common folk, or they'll pose unnecessary challenges."
"I'm aware, Uncle," Ye Han affirmed with a smile. "I'll address those concerns."
"I admire your confidence," Ye Xiu chuckled. "It's reminiscent of our father, isn't it, brother?"
"Indeed," Ye Zong nodded.
As they conversed, a figure quietly entered the room, making her way toward Ye Han. The others noticed her presence but remained silent.
"Guess who?" The figure covered Ye Han's eyes, playfully teasing.
"I can't recognize the voice..." Ye Han mumbled, puzzled. "Father, any hints?"
"How can you forget my voice?" The figure feigned offence. "Here's a clue: I'm someone you love dearly."
"Someone I love the most...?" Ye Han pondered. "I love everyone equally..."
"You're mean, big brother," the figure exclaimed, removing her hands with a pout.
Ye Han burst into laughter, joined by the others at the table.
"You're all so mean..." Ziyun, the figure revealed, muttered as she took her seat. "I won't talk to you anymore."
Her words only elicited further amusement from the group.
"I was just teasing, dear sister. How could I not recognize your voice?" Ye Han grinned, affectionately patting her head.
"I'm still not talking to you," Ziyun insisted, though her hidden smile betrayed her.
"If you won't talk to me, I won't eat," Ye Han declared, rising from his seat, but his sister swiftly grabbed his hand.
"I'll talk to you, big brother. Don't skip your meal," she urged.
"Really?" Ye Han raised an eyebrow sceptically.
"I've never lied to you, big brother," Ziyun replied earnestly.
"Ha! I knew you'd come around," Ye Han chuckled, resuming his seat and exchanging food with his sister.
Observing the siblings' interaction, the others smiled. Eager not to be left out, Ye Hong joined in.
"If only they were here to witness this," Ye Zong murmured, reminiscing about his two departed wives.
In his youth, he had married two sisters, but tragedy struck when both passed away, leaving him to raise their children alone. Despite his responsibilities as a city lord, he fretted over his daughter's well-being.
His eldest son, at just nine years old, took it upon himself to care for his sister, always making time for her. Even during his training, he ensured she was not left alone.
Ye Zong was both proud and concerned for his son, entrusting Xue Yin, a trusted friend of his late wives, to oversee their upbringing.
Lost in thought, Ye Zong was brought back by his younger brother's touch.
"I'm fine, don't worry," Ye Zong assured him with a smile.
Ye Xiu nodded and began to eat, while Ye Han suddenly spoke up.
"Uncle Xiu, could you procure all the Purple Haze Grass available in the market?" Ye Han requested. "I need every bit by midnight, discreetly."
"Purple Haze Grass?" Everyone looked puzzled.
"Tomorrow, I plan to take the Alchemy Association's exam and intend to write to the director about the grass's potential uses," Ye Han explained. "I aim to profit from selling it once demand increases."
"Can I accompany you, brother?" Ziyun asked eagerly. "I'd like to see the place."
"You'll find it boring," Ye Han warned.
"No worries," Ziyun replied promptly, eliciting amused headshakes from the others.
"Since you're not afraid of boredom, I don't mind taking you along," Ye Han conceded, prompting a gleeful cheer from Ziyun, to which Ye Han responded with a wry smile.
"How confident are you about the exam?" Ye Zong inquired, his expression serious. "Alchemy isn't a simple matter."
"Just listen out tomorrow, Father," Ye Han replied mysteriously, a smile playing on his lips. "You'll hear your son's name echoing through Glory City."
"We'll see," Ye Zong replied casually, though inwardly he was now anticipating the exam results.
After finishing their meal and engaging in small talk, they dispersed to their respective courtyards to rest much to Ziyun's annoyance who wanted to continue to talk with her brother.
Ye Han returned to his quarters, where he penned a lengthy letter to the director of the Alchemy Association, signing it before handing it to a servant for delivery to his uncle.
"I'm sure by tomorrow morning, everyone will be scrambling for Purple Haze Grass to reap some benefits," Ye Han chuckled before retiring to bed.
It was time to rest.
