'Damon Salvatore, why is he here I thought he wanted to hide the fact that he's back in town at this point from his brother' I internally thought as I looked at the amused looking vampire.

"Don't mind me, you can continue your little conversation as I'll be on my way" The dark haired vamp says still looking amused as he turns to walk in to the grill.

Turning my attention away from him to Alexa I tell her "Let's go" receiving a nod as we turn to walk towards our car. Getting in I begin driving towards the exit of mystic falls.

"Didn't I tell you the location of our home?" Alexa asks from the passenger seat sounding confused. "Yes you did" I reply keeping my eyes on the road.

"So why are you driving in the complete opposite direction and towards the exit of mystic falls" She asks puzzled. "Are we leaving?" She continues.

"No we're not leaving I just need to get something" I reply trying to reassure her as I know how badly she wanted to meet her grams.

"What is so important that you'd need to get it right now and not tomorrow" She asks curious. Briefly taking my eyes off the road I reply "Some more white oak" causing her eyes to slightly widen and her jaw to open in shock.

"Wait what did you just say, get some more white oak wood?" She asks recovering from the brief shock. I nod in response to her question slightly speeding up to get to my location faster.

"I thought they burned all of it" She says or more like questioned. "They thought so as well" I reply seeing the outline of the bridge up ahead.

"Wait if even the originals thought they got rid of it all, then how do you know the location of what they didn't get rid off" she asks suspiciously.

Stopping the car I go to exit it but she grabs my hand causing me to turn to her. On her face is possibly the most serious look I've ever gotten from her "Alex I want you to promise me something" she says.

"What is it?" I ask wondering and confused at what could cause her to get this serious. "I want you to promise to never use the white oak on them unless they become a threat to our lives" she says causing me to hesitate because with how strong the originals are they could bring a threat anytime.

"Alexa I-" I begin to say hoping to kind of loop the deal. "Alex I want you to promise to only use it when they are hellbent on killing us or our friends" she repeats with the seriousness in her tone deepening.

Sighing I accept the deal "Okay fine Alexa I promise to only use or bring it out when I have no choice" I tell her causing her to sigh in relief easing into the passenger seat.

I can't help but be curious as to why she seems so hellbent on me not using the wood on the originals "Why don't you want me to use it on them?" I ask making her shift slightly uncomfortable.

Seeing that she's hesitating to answer I begin making some guesses "Is it because you don't want me to get hurt or is it something else?" I ask and with the way she reacted it seems I got it right or at least partly.

"Yes I don't want you to get hurt but there's something else as well" she says as I remain silent waiting for what else she wanted to say. She remains silent for a while before hesitantly saying " They're my family while I'm a bennett they technically raised me " she says shocking me.

Now while I already suspected something of the sort seeing that Klaus had given her the wooden knight. I still wasn't prepared to hear it myself.

She stares at me seemingly looking for something but breathes a sigh of relief as I say "Okay I promise to not use it on them unnecessarily" I say promising her again before I hop out the car.

I walk towards the wickery bridge and just start breaking pieces of it in separate places not like it would make a difference surely by tomorrow you'll be hearing someone stole chunks out of the bridge.

Now in deep thought I let piece of it slip from my hand and into the water. Of course I wasn't gonna leave it there as later someone could find it and make a stake out of it to kill the originals. While that wasn't my problem it would surely hurt Alexa which would then make it become my problem.

So I chucked of the bridge into the water in search of it. "Alex!" I hear alexa shout behind me probably surprised at me just suddenly chucking of the bridge.

Floating to the surface i wave to let her know I'm okay before taking a deep breath and diving back in searching for the piece of wood. I quickly found it though.

I thanked god that I had enhanced vision or else I don't know how I would of found it. "Oh what do we have hear, where's your little boyfriend" I hear a male voice that I immediately recognize as that of Damon Salvatore.

Wasting no time I jump out of the water as fast as I can to see the little bastard vamped out staring at my girlfriend with killing intent most likely planning to make us his last meal tonight.

With no hesitation I run at the bastard quickly locking an arm around his throat in a head lock. I caught him by surprise as he tries to wriggle his way out of my grip which was futile as I recently discovered I had the strength of a 300 hundred year old vamp which increases when I have sex.

Now if I had tried to fight the bastard head first I would have most definitely lost. While I had all that strength my combat experience simply downplays it by a whole lot.r

Holding him in the head lock. I quickly snaked my free hand into my jacket withdrawing a wooden stake.

I was tempted to kill the little bastard but I would need him in the future so I simply drove it into the right side of his chest. That still cost him pain but it was only temporary as I quickly broke his neck before withdrawing the stake and throwing him over the bridge.

I watch as the body slowly sinks hoping that he drowns a couple times when he wakes up before he escapes. "Was that necessary, you know I could neutralize him right?" I hear Alexa beside me.

"I think I neutralized him perfectly" I reply turning to look at her. "Why not kill him?" she asks.

"I was tempted to but I need him" I reply. Confused she asks "For what".

"To lure my future enemies" I tell her getting confused looks causing me to explain further. "I need him to gather information on my future enemies. So while he may have to fight someone probably blindsided I could use that time to figure out key information about them" I explain which she seems to get.

"Oh so he'll be fighting your enemies while you use the time to figure out ways to beat them when and if they come after us" She says which was partly correct. "No he will be fighting his enemies which may or may not turn out to be me mine as well" I say correcting.

"That's a pretty great strategy" She says as I nod. "Let's go" I say as we turn to walk in the direction of the car as I bring my newly collected white oak.

Stopping Infront of the car as I remember I'm soaked from head to toe. Turning to Alexa I ask "You got no spells for drying someone" causing her to laugh as she begins chanting.
