PROLOGUE

[The world has to end.]

Such was the first prophecy God gave to His creations.

Then came another sentence,

[The human named 'Hisha' shall be the 'cause'.]

Mankind shall perish, was what God meant. However, He did not abandon His subjects.

[There shall be a 'hero', he who may save the world from its fate.]

A classic setting. A cliche story of a hero. A saviour.

[Should the 'cause' be slain by the 'hero' before its twentieth year, this world shall be graced with remission.]

And so, as God had said, the 'hero' was born on the same day as the 'cause's' birth. A day that brought both joy and despair to earth.

The 'hero' killed 'Hasha' on her seventeenth birthday and saved the world.

The 'cause' was reborn in the form of another human, with a different name and a different appearance. The only thing that remained was its memory, along with its purpose as the 'cause'.

And so the 'hero' killed it once again, on the day it was born.

But one day, the 'hero' died, despite the 'cause' still alive after its second reincarnation. The 'hero' reincarnated into a different person without his past life's memory intact - but he still needed to continue his duty as the saviour of the world.

It was an endless cycle for the both of us, but why only 'I' remember everything? In my first life, you pitied me, so you let me live longer. During my second life, you killed me as soon as I saw the world, in order not to hurt me. You are kinder than anyone else, 'hero'. It is fate and 'God' that is messing with us. You suffered as much as I do, we've endured so much for this rotten world to continue.

So it's time to put an end to this.
