Journey To The Academy

After a grueling hour of training Lucifer managed to form the first primary core of his dantian.

'I can feel the strength flowing through my body.

Still it feels weird, anyway I have to get used to it. I should try hunting some werewolves, it would provide an exact estimate of increase in my strength. I guess today's there's no rest either.'

It was 7 in the evening, and a boy with black hairs could be seen approaching the Faldia estate. 

Lucifer took a bath after returning and packed his clothes in a leather bag.

He had done all the necessary preparations before going to the academy.

Holding the bag in one hand with his sword in the other he went downstairs where his family members were waiting for him along with his siblings.

Victoria had wore a white tunic over her clothes and had a hat over her head, while Alicia wore a sky blue skirt with John's attire contrasting them with a red blazer and grey pants. 

It looked really weird, not that John cared about it.

Lucifer himself was wearing a black shirt with dark black pants his hairs falling over his forehead, with golden eyes filled with mystery and coldness.

"You are late, all of us have been waiting for half an hour." Alan said in a voice of authority.

"Well I don't remember asking you lot to wait for me, so please spare me your wise words" Lucifer replied in equally firm tone.

"Tsk..." Alan clicked his tongue in utter annoyance.

"Well now that he has arrived, I think all of you should head to the carriage and set for the academy." Amelia said trying to dissolve the tension in the air.

Lucifer headed towards the carriage without sparing his father a second glance.

Victoria, Alicia and John followed Lucifer without uttering a word, and headed towards the carriage.

As the carriage began it's journey Amelia's eyes watered seeing her children leaving. She kept waving her hand until the carriage disappeared from her view.

"There's no need too get emotional, they would be returning soon for the mid term holidays." Alan said and left on his horse to the lake of Alola for his training.

In the carriage John and Victoria sat on one side while Alicia and Lucifer on the other.

Alicia's heart was beating rapidly, as she was getting nervous and a little afraid sitting so close to her brother.

Without paying Alicia any attention, Lucifer was busy reading a book on strategies written by Alexander one of the greatest strategist in the history.

The journey was bumpy, with the carriage stopping at intervals for the horses to rest.

At one such resting time, a soldier approached the siblings and with a bow said in a respectful tone," Young master Lucifer, Miss Victoria, Master John, Miss Alicia, I hope that you are comfortable with the journey.

Actually one of the wheels of the carriage has been damaged while crossing the hill, and we would need quite some time to repair it. 

In the meantime I request you all to stay at a neighboring Inn."

Hearing the soldier Lucifer nodded and got off the carriage towards the Inn recommended by the man.

Others followed him and after walking a hundred meters they could see a mid-sized building with sloping roofs, and a name written at its front in bold letters.

It said 'Vikings lodge', which was believed to be reputable inn in this area, known for it's delicious food, drinks, and luxurious rooms.

On the counter they could see a lady in her 30s wearing the uniform similar to all other people in the area, which was obviously the inn's standard uniform.

As Lucifer was quite tired from the journey he wanted to take a quick nap for refreshment, so he went directly to the counter to enquire for the same.

The woman at the counter could see a fairly handsome young man in his 20s with raven black hair, and golden eyes approaching her with firm footsteps.

She knew it was none other than Lucifer Faldia, the heir of house Faldia, also known as the cold prince, due to his cold behavior towards those around him.

Offending him was the last thing she would do, so with a pleasing warm smile she greeted him. ''Young Master welcome to The Vikings, I have booked you a room, and I hope you enjoy your stay here."

Hearing that only one room was booked, Lucifer's expression wavered a bit, and before he could ask the woman replied, "Due to the admission process of several academies opening today, all the rooms had been pre-booked so this was the only room we could prepare for you."

"No problem" Lucifer replied after thinking for a minute and then headed towards the others.

Victoria could see him returning towards them, before she could ask anything 

" Only one room was available for the time being, so we all would have to adjust in it." He replied.

And so without further delay they headed towards their room to rest for some time.

Arriving at the room Lucifer directly went to the bed and stretched his body to make himself comfortable.

The rest could only watch him as he slept in the middle of the bed.

Victoria and Alicia sat in one corner, with Victoria explaining Alicia about the various important things at the academy, while taking glances at the sleeping face of her brother.

John too joined in the conversation, and so the the time passed peacefully.
