there are many people who have searched out soul mates

they believe they exist

they will spend their life waiting for them

hoping they arrive

but on ocassions you meet them and you never even know it was them

until time takes its turn

and you move on

and you realize it.

this morning I woke up and remembered your face. in a dream I had. I saw your eyes, your strong hands in mine.

your voice. I remembered you.

I rolled over my bedside and saw my husband's face.
