"Alex" Chris yelled at me.

"Why are you angry?"He asked me.

I'm on the verge of shifting, my wolf wants to rip his throat.

"Don't do anything that you would regret later"

"How dare he flirts with my mate in front of my eyes"

"Don't. Chris, you know the reason."I hissed at him.

"Do you have a feeling for her?"

"No. It's the mate bond"

"Don't try to fool me, whatever you have to control yourself"

"Hmm"

"You know what would happen if he gets to know that you have possessiveness for her.

My breath hitched.

'MATE NEED US. WE NEED TO PROTECT HER

I ignored my wolf.

"We are leaving now Chris, pack your bag"

"But..?"

"NOW" I yelled at him.

"There would be hundreds of Jason will be here Alex, keep that in mind"

"I won't let anyone near her"I clenched my fist and continued.

"Keep two-guard with her I will talk to her dad"

Chris glared at me and said,

"What if she gets to know you arranged guards for her"

"She won't"

"Once this over. I will bring her to my house" I told him

"I hope it won't be too late"Then he left.

I sighed. I need to protect her, this is the only way to protect her. I will leave before she wakes up tomorrow.

My breath hitched I think about our mate, she is beautiful.

My mind went blank when I thought about leaving her. It's best for both of us.
