Late night Dinner
As soon as they reach home, Dylan went to his study and lock the dooe. In his absence, Gibbs has installed hidden cameras inside his houss. Dylan sits on the leather chair and turn on the screen infront of him which displays the recording of all house. Then he open the box that Rich has place on top of study table. For a moment, he look at the screen and in the next begun teading from start. From time to time, Dylan would stop reading and watch the recordings on screen. He read throughly from file after file, making notes of some data till there was slight knock on the door. Dylan look at time piece and learns it was past mid night already. He quickly hide the files that he has been reading and box in safe and walk to door. He breathes deeply before opening the door, removing every bit of emotion from his face. But when he open the door and saw her standing there with a worried face, all of his efforts to remain calm, and emotionless was loosening bit by bit with each passing second.
Lena watch him, look into his eyes, his face, trying to find a single bit of emotion, to catch a single glimpse of what that has caused him to abandoned his passion for stars,for Astronomy. Lena looks into his eyes. Dylan knews that if he look into her eyes, he won't be able to pacify his thoughts but he stared into her eyes, unable yo pull apart, like a spell bound them to stare.
Lena stares into his eyes, to find the reason... To knew what changes him?
Dylan stares into her eyes, to learn her unknown pain, her known pain, to know what has caused her like this,... To know all the unknown endurance that Lena has had gone through. He stretch out his hand and creases her cheek.
"Dylan.." Lena was about to say something when little rebot came telling her that late night dinner is ready. She changed her mind to inquire him.
"Let's eat" lena take his hand into hers and lead away to kitchen, where aroma of delicious food fills the air. Freshly baked Lemon chicken cheese pasta was present on table. The little rebot that Gibbs has made resently was quite useful.
During the dinner, Lena kept talking about the things that she was doing before her adress grts revealed. Dylan listen to her chatter, occasionally he remerk something to her. His mind was occupied by one thought and that is to protect her.
