Late in Night

"Dylan, Sam in on news." Lena turned on the TV in the lounge, when they come back in lounge. Dylan sit besides her and listen to her absentmindedly.

"Oh crap" as he hear Sam's voice, it all drawn back to him. Turning off the news as he guessed what was happening around.

Lena watched him as if he wasn't Dylan but some ghost.

"Lena I've not seen you for a week and you Don't have anything to tell me? " Dylan asked her and leaned on his back against couch, gazing at her face.

"Nothing big happened. " Lena wanted to watch that press conference so badly.

From the corner of her eyes, she watched him, as his colour drains from his face. Out of guilty conscience, she leans back facing him and close her eyes. She felt tired of games; all these games being played whether it's fate's, that accident or now. Lena wanted to end this all.

"Did you missed me Lens? " Dylan asked again slowly as if afraid of being denied.

"Yeah I have missed you." Lena moves a bit and place her head on his arm; a gesture to end all this.

"I've missed you too. "Dylan whispered; taking every part of this stored inside of him.

A scene played before his eyes all of sudden and he shook it back in his mind but failed.

[Master you called for me? Dylan asked as he entered the Celestial library .

"Sit Dylan.. sit"

'Did he asked you a question? '

' He asked me to tell him what's the most scary feeling and when I told him, he became furious. But why Master?'

'Once again he was proven wrong. ' ]

'Dylan ' Lena gains his attention as soon as he recalled it.

'Hmm ' he watched her, doing it to him once again, her gaze felt going inside him, penetrating to his deepest secrets, searching for a thing or two and he moves his eyes.

"Gibbs says he fears.... " Lena stops amid to look at his face as if wants to learn his expression.

"What Gibbs says? " Dylan asked.

" He fears about another war? "

This Gibbs, did he desires a fight.

Dylan wanted to put some sense in him but he knew it that Gibbs would never tell about their conversation about this to Lena.

"How so? " he feel indifferent.

"He says he fears a war to out break again but with ourselves. " Lena explained further.

Now Dylan knows what Gibbs wanted; truly wanted to tell. He decided the hidden meanings.

"He just wanted to know if I'm hurt or not." he says and look at Timepiece. The time for the press conference was gone.

"Hey lens, do you want to watch movies ?" Dylan asked as he remembers that a sequel to their favorite horror movie was out.

" at this hour Dylan but yes. " Lena was surprised

Darkness was spread in the living room, suspense music played and at some distance a scream was heard. Lena clutches the blanket tightly but her focus remains on screen where a cropse was shivering as life come back in it, a rotten life.

'Ahh' A girl scream so do Lena wwhenit attack suddenly.

Dylan put his arm around her.

'Do you want me to pause it?' he asked her, slowly comforting her. Lena pull the soft blanket on her legs and denies.

Dylan look at her, completely absorb in movie and smiled.

" Lena, look at that ghost? " Midway across the movie, Dylan ask her. But she didn't replied. When he looked at her, Dylan finds Lena fell asleep like always. He paused the movie and lays her down In comfortable couch. He sit on floor in a way that Dylan was facing her as he placed his head on couch .

his hand traced her face, the outline of her hairs as if Dylan was in trance.

Master Atlan has told him off the tantrums thrown by Lenaand Gibbs back in Capaldi when they learnt about him gone to the land of Meges.

"I didn't wanted to scare or hurt both of you, Lens. I want to run until it's time. "

Dylan whispered as he take her hand into his.

"Dylan,.... " Lena called his name, eyes still closed.

[she is asleep.] a voice said to him and Dylan relax a bit. He find it a lot more easier for him to accept this voice.

[let me tell you a story. ] the voice spoke again and Dylan close his eyes.

"Long ago... There was a girl and a boy. "

The voice was saying something but he could no longer differentiate it. The voice was some kind of noise to him as he crosses the boarder once again.
