Alia watched the scowling Rumi climb the stairs.

"She's dead" he said while taking a seat in front of the fire.

"Who is dead"?

"Olfiya was her name, I don't know if one of your fucked up siblings got to her or not".

"The mage tower reported her death while I was there waiting for her, they put her location within Aug and are offering rewards for information about her death" He said sounding exasperated.

"They don't know"? Alia asked.

"No... but they know she died".

"Seems she abandoned her commission because he sure showed up".

"No one can believe a Jun killed her but he is being held at the tower regardless" Rumi said referring to the noble Olfiya was guarding.

The sound of laughter can be heard from the first floor as Alia sits in silence, thinking about how she was fleeced.

If she had held out and not given into the little urchin she would have her stones and a dead assasin.
