If there was one thing that has never changed about Haewon over the years, it was the way she worried about Jake whenever she was unable to reach him.

After Jake left the office the way he did without seeing Haewon, she had waited for him for a while at the office to be sure he had indeed left since he had never done that ever since they relocated and had started working. And when she realized he had left, she had tried to reach him all to no avail. He had neither responded to the calls nor sent a text as he usually did when he was busy so she couldn't help but wonder what could be wrong.

She had contemplated going over to his apartment to check on him, but Charlotte had convinced her to wait until morning and see if Jake would return her call since he might be busy and wouldn't even be able to see her even if she went to see him.
