Watching Haewon lying on the hospital bed, Tan couldn't help the feeling of helplessness that enveloped him.
Although he would have loved for Regina to be taken into custody and prosecuted for her crime, the news of her death was a well-deserved punishment, especially since she had died at the hands of her accomplice.
Tan snapped out of his thoughts when he heard his wife say Haewon's name and felt relieved when he saw that Haewon was now awake.
"How are you feeling now, baby?" Nana asked as she stroked Haewon's hair.
"I'm glad you're awake, baby," Tan said as he kissed her forehead, but Haewon didn't look at either of them, and she said nothing as tears flowed down her face.
