Jake stood on the rooftop of JK Group during his lunch break with his fists clenched as he tried to think of the best way to confront his grandmother after he got home from work.

After their graduation the previous year, they had all moved back to Korea, and his grandmother had relocated down to join him just a couple of weeks ago as they had agreed it would be odd if she moved with him immediately.

Although Haewon's parents had offered to accommodate Jake and Charlotte since they had enough bedrooms in the house, Jake had politely declined saying he needed to get his own place so his grandmother could live with him when she moved down, while Charlotte had gladly accepted the offer so she could keep her eyes on Haewon and her family.
